Biomekanisk mätmetod och ergonomisk analys av träningsmaskiner

<p>To get the maximal output of your exercise in gym machines, there are different factors</p><p>to be considered. For example the strength of the muscle varies dependent on the position</p><p>of the muscles. To get the best results of the exercise the load has to reduce and increase</p><p>at specific positions.</p><p>This study was made in cooperation with Caretaker Scandinavia AB, a company for</p><p>sales, marketing and development in health care. They are general agent for Nordic Gym</p><p>who works with manufacturing of equipment and machines for gym and fitness.</p><p>The aim of this study was to generate a method of measurement to evaluate and control</p><p>the biomechanics of Nordic Gym´s workout equipment. A protocol for an ergonomic</p><p>analysis on the equipment has also been elaborated.</p><p>One of the methods to measure the biomechanics was to measure the torque through the</p><p>whole movement. The other method was electromyography (EMG). The EMGequipment</p><p>registers electric signals that are generated in a working muscle, and makes it</p><p>possible to see when the maximum muscle activity achieves. The results of those</p><p>measurements will be compared to the muscles strengthprofile which describes how the</p><p>muscle generates power in different positions throughout the movement.</p><p>To measure the ergonomics an ergonomic protocol where produced, which was based on</p><p>ergonomics aspect, adapted to gym machines.</p><p>The method of measurement where tested on Nordic Gym´s training machine 101SE leg</p><p>extension and Free Motion´s machine Leg Extension GZF18013 and this machines where</p><p>controlled and evaluated. Two test persons tried out the machines and the machines</p><p>where analysed in an ergonomic and a biomechanical perspective. The result shows that</p><p>the biomechanics of Nordic Gym´s machine where a bit better than the biomechanics of</p><p>FreeMotion´s machine. But in the both case the difference between the values of torque is</p><p>marginal, to improve the biomechanics insistence a bigger different should be necessary</p><p>to use. The ergonomic analyse of the machines showed that the ergonomics where good</p><p>and well planed. Both machines had some small ergonomic lacks, which can be</p><p>improved.</p>

Research and Development of a Smart Li-Battery Management System

This research proposes a smart battery management system applied to Li-Battery. The system not only can monitor the batteries for all kinds of parameters but also modify them by users. Besides, in estimating the residual capacity of Li-ion batteries, an automatic measurement platform is set up in order to record the data of Li-battery in different kinds of charge-discharge condition and to analysis the characteristics. In monitoring used battery capacity, Modified-Coulomb-Measuring method is proposed and it can accurately estimate the residual capacity according to the effect of output current and environment temperature. In addition to estimate the residual capacity accurately, Smart Battery System can record the information of Li-batteries over a long period of time, and the log files can be used for further battery characteristics analysis.

Stanovení kyseliny fytové v pivovarských surovinách / Determination of phytic acid in brewery materials

This diploma work discusses the chemical and physical characteristics of phytic acid, its positive and negative influence on people’s health, on the substances usability in the human organism and also its possible use in the food industry. Methods for analyzing phytic acid in the feed and food industry are also discussed. This diploma work also states the characteristics of analyzed raw materials and, for the analyzed raw material malt, it also covers the technological procedure for its production. For direct determination of phytic acid in barley caryopses and in malt, the isotachophoresis (ITP) method was used. This diploma work contains results of phytic acid determination in treated and untreated barley and malt variants by 6 different varieties in 4 test stations - specifically for harvests during the years 2006 and 2007. The final work contains comparisons of phytic acid content in different varieties of treated/untreated barley and malt variants. Comparisons are always within a single test station. Comparison are also included of phytic acid content for single varieties (across all examined test stations). This work furthermore, presents decreases in phytic acid content after malting. The ITP method was evaluated as quick and relatively simple. A method by using tests (from a commercial company) for obtaining phytic acid content was also used. This diploma work lists results of phytic acid content determination in untreated barley and malt variants at two test stations, for the year of harvest 2007. Further, this work contains a comparison of phytic acid content in different varieties for the given test station. The method by using tests was evaluated as a orientation method. This work states comparisons of phytic acid content obtained by measurements during the years 2006 and 2007. The diploma work also compares ITP with the method realized by using tests in two test stations for 5 untreated varieties of barley and malt for 2007 harvest.

<p>U okviru doktorske disertacije, realizovane su podešljive feritne komponente sa jezgrima koja su proizvedena od komercijalno dostupnih ESL 40011 feritnih traka čije se induktivnosti podešavaju primenom jednosmerne struje. Rad realizovanih podešljivih feritnih komponenti je verifikovan u kolu DC-DC konvertora podizača napona. U disertaciji je predložena merna metoda koja omogućava ispitivanje uticaja jednosmerne struje na karakteristike SMD induktora postavljenih u realnom okruženju. Metoda je verifikovana na komercijalno dostupnim SMD induktorima.</p> / <p>As part of this thesis variable ferite components with cores produced from comercialy available ESL 40011 ferite tapes manufactured in Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic technology are implemented. Inductivity of the components is varied by applying DC current. Functionality of the implemented ferite components is verified in a circuit of DC-DC boost converter. This thesis proposes a measurement method which enables examining the influence of DC current on the characteristics of SMD inductors in real environment. The method is verified on comercialy available SMD inductors</p>

No. of bitstreams: 0 / Neste trabalho de mestrado são descritos o projeto, a montagem e os testes de funcionamento de uma câmara porta amostra para medidas elétricas de quatro pontas de prova dc. A estrutura da câmara porta amostra é em material cerâmico, que garante a estabilidade física e química do sistema, prolongando sua vida útil e melhorando a qualidade das análises realizadas. Este sistema permite a realização de medidas elétricas de diferentes materiais desde a temperatura ambiente até ~1500 °C em ampla faixa de pressões parciais de oxigênio. A funcionalidade da câmara porta amostras foi avaliada por meio da comparação de medidas da dependência da resistividade elétrica com a temperatura de amostras de zircônia estabilizada com ítria. Visando à aferição e a aplicação deste sistema de medidas elétricas, foram fabricados e caracterizados compósitos à base de zircônia estabilizada com ítria e nitreto de titânio, obtidos pela técnica de sinterização por plasma pulsado (\"spark plasma sintering\", SPS). As propriedades gerais destes compósitos foram investigadas por meio de análises térmicas, difratometria de raios X (DRX) e medidas elétricas de quatro pontas de prova dc, usando o sistema construído. As análises das amostras dos compósitos à base de zircônia e TiN mostraram que a técnica SPS produz amostras densas, sem reação entre as fases ou degradação do TiN por oxidação. As amostras com adição de TiN apresentaram comportamento metálico da resistividade elétrica, evidenciando a percolação do nitreto na matriz de zircônia para frações volumétricas &le; 27 vol.%. Medidas de resistividade elétrica combinadas com análises térmicas e de DRX foram usadas para monitorar a oxidação do TiN nos compósitos em altas temperaturas. In der Arbeit werden normativ-technische und verfahrenstechnische Voraussetzungen zur Richtighaltung von Kreisformmessgeräten dargelegt. Dazu wird ein umfassendes Begriffssystem für die allgemeine Beschreibung von Bewegungsabweichungen von bewegten Bauteilen an Werkzeugmaschinen oder Formmessgeräten, z.B.
