The thesis discusses the impact of nostrification action on particular companies mining and metallurgical industries in inter-war Czechoslovakia. The aim of the analysis is to test the hypothesis of nostrification as "clientelist changing of the guard" on the particular case of the three largest mining and metallurgical enterprises in First Republic of Czechoslovakia. First is discussed the state of the mining and metallurgical industry as a whole. Then there is brief discuss about nostrification. Finally, there are particular companies analyzed. Final opinion to the defined hypothesis is discussed, through the answer on a defined set of questions

Вопросы повышения экономической эффективности предприятий металлургической промышленности под влиянием различных факторов являются актуальными на современном этапе развития Российской экономики. В современной экономике важнейшим и определяющим фактором является повышение эффективности производства на основе увеличения производительности труда. Целью магистерской диссертации является развитие методических основ исследования влияния производительности труда на эффективность развития предприятий металлургической промышленности. В работе рассматриваются теоретические и прикладные аспекты анализа производительности труда и экономической эффективности в металлургическом производстве, а также и вопросы их взаимосвязи. В качестве источников информации использовались учебно-методическая и научно-исследовательская литература, официальные статистические данные и данные финансовой отчетности предприятий. В магистерской диссертации разработан методический подход к оценке влияния производительности труда на экономическую эффективность предприятий металлургической промышленности, измеряемую на основе показателя рентабельности активов. Методический подход предполагает получение комплексной экономико-статистической оценки на основе анализа взаимосвязи показателей на микроуровне (уровень отдельных предприятий-лидеров по показателю производительности труда) и макроуровне (уровень металлургической промышленности в целом), что развивает методические основы экономико-статистического анализа производственной деятельности и позволяет получать более обоснованные оценки влияния производительности труда на эффективность развития металлургической промышленности. / The issues of increasing metallurgical industrial enterprise’s economic efficiency under the influence of various factors are relevant at the present stage of Russian Federation’s economic development. In the modern economy the key factor is increasing efficiency in production through the labor productivity growth. The aim of the master's thesis is to study the effect of the labor productivity on the economic efficiency of metallurgical industrial organizations. The paper considers theoretical and applied aspects of the analysis of labor productivity and economic efficiency of metallurgical industry, as well as issues of their relationship. The sources of information used educational and research literature, official statistics and financial statements of organizations. The master's thesis developed a methodological approach to assessing the impact of labor productivity on the economic efficiency metallurgical industrial enterprises measured by returns on assets (ROA). The methodological approach involves obtaining comprehensive economic and statistical assessment based on the analysis of the relationship between indicators labor productivity and economic efficiency of metallurgical industry at the micro-level (level of individual enterprises-leaders in labor productivity) and macro-level (level of metallurgical industry as a whole), which one develops methodical basis of economic and statistical analysis and allows to obtain more reasonable estimates of the impact of labor productivity on the economic efficiency metallurgical industrial enterprises.

Thesis is presented on 108 pages of typewritten text. Consists of introduction, three chapters, conclusion, bibliographic list, two applications, includes 10 tables and 8 figures. The bibliographic list contains 66 names including 4 foreign. In the introduction justified the relevance of the research topic, formulate the purpose and tasks, object and subject of research, outlines the key provisions of novelty and practical significance of the work. The first Chapter analyzes the concept of competition and competitiveness. The main factors and sources of competitiveness of the enterprise are revealed, the existing methods used to assess the competitiveness of economic entities are investigated. The second Chapter describes the main characteristics of the metallurgical industry at the present stage. Also it includes the review of the activities of enterprises in the context of restrictive measures by foreign States , their functioning within the framework of international organizations such as the WTO and the EAEU, as well as the main directions of development of enterprises are marked. The methodological approach to assessing the competitiveness of the enterprise and ways to improve it is presented in the third Chapter. The presented method was tested on the example of PJSC "TMK", the level of competitiveness of the enterprise was determined, on the basis of which a set of measures to improve the activity of the enterprise was proposed. / Диссертация изложена на 108 листах машинописного текста. Во введении обоснована актуальность темы исследования, сформулированы цель и задачи, объект и предмет исследования, обозначены основные положения новизны и практической значимости работы. В первой главе проанализирована сущность понятий конкуренции и конкурентоспособности. Выявлены основные факторы и источники конкурентоспособности предприятия, а так же исследованы существующие методы, применяемые для оценки конкурентоспособности хозяйствующих субъектов. Во второй главе рассмотрены основные характеристики металлургической отрасли на современном этапе. Произведен обзор деятельности предприятий в условиях ограничительных мер со стороны иностранных государств, их функционирование в рамках таких международных организаций, как ВТО и ЕАЭС, а также обозначены основные направления развития предприятий. Методический подход к оценке конкурентоспособности предприятия и путей его повышения представлен в третьей главе. Проведена апробация представленного метода на примере ПАО «ТМК», то есть определен уровень конкурентоспособности предприятия, на основании которого предложен комплекс мероприятий по улучшению деятельности исследуемого предприятия.

The aim of this thesis is to find an appropriate strategy, which the company should use in the future, This finding gives us a particular strategic and financial analysis. The outcome of these analyzes will be put in a SWOT analysis, where all the data will be summarized in individual points. Furthermore, a decision will be made based on the SWOT analysis, how the company should be run, in other words, we choose the future strategy from the particular SWOT quadrant.

The master thesis considers the problem of the effect of market potential solution to reduce dependence on the metallurgical industry crisis in the economy. The thesis has the experience of domestic and foreign researchers in determining the characteristics of the market potential, identified factors affecting the state of the market potential for the crisis, the theory of crises and economic cycles. To identify ways to accelerate out of the crisis, analyzes the steel industry in the world and our country in the last ten years. Based on the theoretical analysis and analysis of the metallurgical industry of Russia, recommendations for the growth of the market potential in today’s crisis were proposed. / В работе рассмотрено решение проблемы влияния рыночного потенциала на снижение зависимости металлургической отрасли от кризисных явлений в экономике. В диссертации изучен опыт отечественных и зарубежных исследователей в определении особенностей рыночного потенциала, выявлены факторы, влияющие на состояние рыночного потенциала в условиях кризисных явлений, теория кризисов и экономических циклов. Для определения путей ускорения выхода из кризиса проанализировано состояние черной металлургии в мире и нашей стране за последние десять лет. На основе проведенного теоретического анализа и анализа металлургического комплекса России были предложены рекомендации для роста рыночного потенциала в условиях современного кризиса.
