It investigates the positioning of the Masonry in Brazilians subjects politicians, economic and social. The studied historical period limits of 1960 the 1989, because this period adds the initial elaborations of the military blow, the performances of military in the power as well as the end of the manipulation military politics in the context of the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary. Based on the positioning of the Masonry front to the military dictatorship, the realistic bases had been reached by intermediary of interviews with people who had participated of the studied time; use, also, periodicals for the agreement of this context and the reflected of the dictatorship in the society. The theoretical recital was firmed in two segmentations which if had divided in a historical briefing on the Masonry and a synthesis on the events economic politicians and of the Brazilian military dictatorship. After analyses, judgments and comparisons of the research of field with the theoretical recital, were possible to evidence that officially the Masonry supported the military dictatorship, however several masons had an opposing thought to that institution position / A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo estudar os acontecimentos políticos e históricos brasileiros na conjuntura da Instituição Maçônica. Avalia o posicionamento da Maçonaria em assuntos políticos, econômicos e sociais brasileiros. O período histórico estudado limita-se de 1960 a 1989, pois esse período se remete às elaborações iniciais do golpe militar, às atuações de militares no poder bem como o fim da manipulação política militar no contexto do Executivo, Legislativo e Judiciário. Calcadas no posicionamento da Maçonaria frente à ditadura militar, as bases realísticas foram alcançadas por intermédio de entrevistas com pessoas que participaram da época estudada; uso-se, também, jornais para o entendimento de como esse contexto se refletiu na sociedade. A fundamentação teórica firmou-se em duas segmentações as quais se dividiram em um breve histórico sobre a Maçonaria e uma síntese sobre os acontecimentos políticos e econômicos da ditadura militar brasileira. Após análises, julgamentos e comparações da pesquisa de campo com a fundamentação teórica, foi possível constatar que oficialmente a Maçonaria apoiou a ditadura militar, porém vários maçons possuíam um pensamento oposto ao que a instituição pregava
