Výuka mimořádně nadaných žáků v matematice. / Teaching talented students in mathematics.

LOJÍKOVÁ, Barbora January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to elaborate a set of tasks that will have increasing difficulty and will lead pupils to the skill of solving problems designed for gifted students. The action research will focus on the student's work with the proposed tasks. In the theoretical part, attention will be paid to the available literature on the teaching of mathematics to exceptionally gifted pupils.

Simplício, Micheline Idalga de Brito 10 April 2013 (has links)
There are many challenges that the educational system needs to face to offer an education of quality searching the proper attendance to the cognitive demands of all the students. This research had, as a main aim, to analyze the New Talent Project of UFS. Identifying its influence in the school performance of the participants in the school performance of the participants we used a methodology with a qualitative approach having as procedure the case study of ethnography base because it involves a group for an intensive analysis of a specific situation; before this we tried to collaborate with the nowadays discussion about the educational attendance with students with gift and talent in the field of mathematics. The instruments used in the collect of data were open and semi-structured, questionary, scale of self-evaluation of academic performance, document and record to a positive influence of the participation in the new talent project in the school performance of the students, in spite of other variables interfered in this process. So there results suggest the meaningful importance of this environmental catalyzer (new talent project) for the student with mathematical talent in his development in the scientific and mathematical fields / São muitos os desafios que o sistema educacional precisa enfrentar para poder oferecer uma educação de qualidade, buscando o atendimento adequado às demandas cognitivas do seu alunado como um todo.

: En kvalitativ studie om lärares arbetssätt för att lyfta och utmana elever som är matematiskt särskilt begåvade / Mathematics for all, or is someone left on their own? : A qualitative study of teachers' working methods for lifting and challenging students who are mathematically talented

Mård, Pernilla, Holmgren Blom, Andreas January 2019 (has links)
Pupils with special mathematical talent are in the same need of being challenged, helped and seen as all other pupils. These students sometimes end up in situations where they need to cope themselves with parts of their learning, because there are other students who are in "greater" need of the teacher's attention. The purpose of this study is to gain a greater understanding of how teachers currently teaching mathematically talented students in grades 4-6, work with these students, the challenges the teachers face and how the teachers’ pay attention to pupils. The method used is semi-structured interviews for interviewing four teachers currently teaching mathematically talented students in grades 4–6. In all interviews the  emerging themes indicated that the knowledge of these pupils' need for attention is high, but the resources to give them what they need are inadequate, which results in them often having to cope with their own learning on their own.
