H STARÉ BRNO - URBANISTICKO ARCHITEKTONICKÁ STUDIE REVITALIZACE MESTA

This thesis deals with the Slovak town Banská Štiavnica in comparison with the Czech town Český Krumlov. The main objective of this thesis is to find deficiencies of Banská Štiavnica within tourist industry and to propound opportunities for increasing revenue and potential benefits based on the comparison of both towns. The thesis in its first part emphasizes the importance of UNESCO in both analyzed towns, through which the outstanding, universal and cultural-historical value is determined. The second part of this thesis deals with comparison methods and through SWOT analysis the opportunities are defined. On the basis of the defined opportunities there is elaborated project of guided night sightseeing tour in Banská Štiavnica.

This thesis deals with the creation of a parametric 3D city model based on available spatial data.. The content is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the current state of 3D modeling and the second part describes the process of creating the final model and its conversion to CityGML.

Diploma thesis maps functioning, problems and troubles of public transportation in Prague during socialism in years 1948 till 1974. These years represents the beginning of communism in Czechoslovak Republic and year of putting the Prague metro into operation. The aim of the work was to examine this limited period in terms of public transportation, its impact on urban development, how different types of public transportation interacted and complemented each other, what was its impact on passengers alone and , for example, how metro planning during this period affected the operation of busses, troleybusses and trams. We found that despite the fact that the metro was at first just an unnecessary plan, later the entire system of public transportation began to concentrate and change precisely because of its implementation. The topic of my thesis is living in the old Brno in the cadastral area of Old Brno . Currently selected area on the map of brownfiedlu of Brno and the question of his fate has become a hot topic. For the design of a successful revitalization area is necessary to think not only the local context , but also over the issue of sustainable development across the board , in the context of the current situation in the company and its vision of the future . Therefore, in my thesis I try to answer the upcoming questions . 1 / What today is sustainability ? 2 / As , influenced by the ideas of sustainability , access to urban planning ? 3 / Which new role and function should be proposed territory ? 4 / As a suggestion area involved in the existing urban structure ? 5 / How to turn onset territory in a sustainable , vibrant and healthy urban structure ? In spatial planning , I emphasized in terms of sustainable development into two functions . On the one hand, promote the development and direction needed to remove the obstacles . On the other hand, to protect the natural and cultural values of the area , which are irreplaceable and non-renewable . Both tasks I tried to balance because of slipping into one extreme, could block the necessary economic and social development or, conversely, to promote development without hindrance , while I was forced to sacrifice irreplaceable natural and cultural assets . There are more models of sustainable urban forms , but some feature are common . I decided in its proposal to create a compact urban structure with multiple functions and interconnection network of streets with the support of the public transport system , quality control environment and a high level of local government and the incorporation of green with the use of passive solar gains .

This diploma thesis deals with creation of data-oriented 3D city model. The aim is to show potential of 3D data in the field of 3D city models and to develop a methodology of conversion of 3D-data with no information to data oriented 3D city model. For this purpose has been chosen format CityGML, which is well-known in the field of 3D city models. This format allows us to store semantical, topological and visual information besides geometry. In terms of concept, thesis is divided into two parts. First part is focused on theory, where are mentioned 3D supported formats. Further I deal with categories of city models according to its usage in praxis and theory about structure of CityGML and its advantages. In second part, I deal with the process of data conversion and its processing. I used geometric data of city parts Líšeň and Nový Lískovec and energy data of some blocks of flats. In the end of thesis, I summarize all the results, possible usage and development of the model.

<p>Poetičko dejstvo mesta predstavlja oblik delovanja prostora koji u čoveku proizvodi doživljaj. Ovaj fenomen je predstavljen iz potrebe da objasni suštinu i prirodu arhitektonskog prostora kao i način na koji prostor vrši dejstvo. Osnovna problemska i istraživačka tema ovog rada jeste uzročno-posledična veza između fizičkog prostora i mesta, koja se zasniva na dijaloškom procesu usled kog je moguće postići da čovek doživi određeno &bdquo;poetičko stanje&ldquo;.</p> / <p>Poetic place influence is a manner in which space causes a man to have an experience. This phenomenon is introduced in order to explain the essence and nature of architectural space, as well as the manner in which the space produces this effect. The main problem and research subject of the work is cause and effect between physiscal space and place, grounded on dilagoue process which enables a man to experience certain &rsquo;poetic state&rsquo;.</p>

The subject of this thesis is to assessment of the accuracy of town plans. The analytical work are transferred to available historical cartographic works with Senica and surrounding area. In the theoretical part of the work deals with describing the documents. Furthermore, it describes methods of measurement. The practical part deals with how to detect positional deviations from the selected database points.

The Renewal Project of the Mikulov Town Center focuses primarily on its cultural heritage, consisting of reconstruction of the original Národný dom on the main square and new buildings of the Cultural House supplemented by the Art Multifunctional Gallery at the Kapucínská Street. The social cultural complex of buildings is a solution to the problems of cultural and physical connection between the city center and its immediate surroundings. After the reconstruction, the Národný dom has a supranational position in the form of conference rooms, a tourist-information center and an educational center. The present building is complemented by a new building of the Cultural House, which houses a multifunctional social hall suitable for theater performance, lectures or dance entertainment. Another kind of art experience offers Galleries on the Walls, which open their premises directly on the street and also shelter smaller outdoor cultural events in the city. The main idea of the project is to connect the square with the alley and then the city park. The building is a passage that directly connects to the original Národný dom and opens the possibility of moving from the main square to Kapucínska street. The exposed renovated bastion then interconnects the level of the park with the street level and is complemented by a view overlooking the St. Kopeček.
