Such an intent was drawn from the observation that, in the critical works about the writer, few were interested in questioning his work under the concept of writing. In this sense, this research has the goal of revealing Rosean writing in the light of the mythic poetic concept of literature. To do that, we questioned the composition of his writing in the relationships it establishes with language, myth and poetry. Our concern was to examine Rosean writing according to a mythical view, trying not only to unveil his concept of writing but also to make explicit its way of functioning. Our reflection was orientated by the following hypotheses: a mythic poetic approach to Rosean literature allows a glimpse at the metamorphic occurrences of his word; the concreteness of the Rosean word allows the understanding of a metaphysical destination to his writing. To develop this study, we selected as its corpus the short stories Sorôco, sua mãe, sua filha (1962), Meu tio o Iauaretê (1961), and Lá, nas campinas (1967). The theoretical basis was founded on the concepts of writing proposed by Roland Barthes and Jacques Derrida, and of mythology proposed by Mielietinski, Eliade and Cassirer, as well as on critical essays produced by Rosean literature reviewers. We also made use of the poetic principles of the writer himself, gathered from interviews and correspondence. We concluded that the literature of João Guimarães Rosa brings into light a high degree of language realization, revealing it as a kind of rationalist metaphysics, as a writing that, chopping the word, configures the metamorphosis of the literary sign. Moreover, it proposes to man, through language and, by extension, through poetry, a rationalist transcendence, guided by the metaphysical aspect of language / Este estudo tem como objetivo investigar a literatura de João Guimarães Rosa com o propósito de entrever um des ígnio na escritura rosiana. Tal intenção foi delimitada pela constatação de que, na fortuna crí tica sobre o escritor, poucos estudos se interessaram em indagar sua obra sob o conceito de escritura. Nesse sentido, esta pesquisa visa a revelar a escritura rosiana à luz da concepção mitopolítica de literatura. Para isso, indagamos a composição de sua escritura nas relações que estabelece com a linguagem, o mito e a poesia. Preocupamo-nos em examinar a escritura rosiana segundo uma visão m tica, buscando revelar não só a sua concepção de linguagem, mas também explicitar o seu modo de funcionamento. Orientaram a nossa reflex o as hipóteses: uma abordagem mitopolítica da literatura rosiana permite entrever as realizações metamórficas de sua palavra; a concretude da palavra rosiana permite compreender uma destinação meta f sica para sua escritura. Para desenvolver este estudo, selecionamos como corpus os contos Sorôco, sua mãe, sua filha (1962), Meu tio o Iauaretê (1961), e Lá, nas campinas (1967). A fundamentação teórica baseou-se nos conceitos de escritura propostos por Roland Barthes e Jacques Derrida, e de mitologia propostos por Mielietinski, Eliade e Cassirer, assim como em ensaios cr ticos propostos por crí ticos da literatura rosiana. Valemo-nos também dos princ ípios políticos do próprio escritor, coletados em entrevistas. Conclu ímos que a literatura de João Guimarães Rosa evidencia alto grau de realização de linguagem, que a revela como uma espécie de metafísica racionalista, como uma escritura que, ao talhar a palavra, configura as metamorfoses do signo literário, e, ainda, propõe ao homem, via linguagem e, por extensão, via poesia, uma transcendência racionalista, pautada pela metafisicalidade da linguagem
