Šio darbo tikslas - išanalizuoti ES valstybių imigrantų adaptacijos reiškinį, didžiausią dėmesį skiriant moterų imigrančių padėčiai ir patiriamoms problemoms. Pirmoje darbo dalyje apžvelgta migracijos reiškinio ir imigrantų adaptacijos samprata. Aptartas migracijos reiškinys, imigrantų adaptacijos sąvokos. Kalbama apie moteris migracijos ir imigrantų adaptacijos procesų kontekste. Antroje šio darbo dalyje aptariama migracijos proceso tendencija ir imigrantų adaptacija ES valstybėse (Vokietijoje, Jungtinėje Karalystėje, Airijoje ir Graikijoje). Trumpai apžvelgti emigraciniai procesai Lietuvoje, aptartos bendros migracijos proceso tendencijos ir imigrantų adaptacijos programos ES valstybėse. Pateikta multikultūralizmo ir imigrantų adaptacijos Jungtinėje Karalystėje, Vokietijoje, Graikijoje ir Airijoje lyginamoji analizė. Trečioje darbo dalyje kalbama apie moterų emigrančių padėtį ES valstybėse, aptartos adaptacijos problemos. Ketvirtoje ir penktoje dalyje aptarta tyrimo metodologija, bei pateikti tyrimo rezultatai. Atlikta emigrančių iš Lietuvos, emigracijos motyvų ir adaptacijos tyrimo analizė. Tyrimui atlikti pasirinktos moterys iš Lietuvos, gyvenančios JK, Vokietijoje, Airijoje ir Graikijoje. Anketinė apklausa atlikta 2008 m. kovo – balandžio mėnesiais internetu, respondenčių ieškant per LR ambasadas, lietuvių bendruomenes ar tarpininkes moteris, gyvenančias vienoje iš aukščiau minimų ES valstybių. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Objective of these theses is to analyse the phenomenon of the EU member states emigrants adaptation by paying much attention to the status of women emigrants and the problems they face. The first part of theses submits the review of concepts of emigration phenomenon and adaptation of emigrants. It speaks about women in the context of emigration and process of emigrants adaptation. The second part of theses contains the discussion of emigration process tendency and adaptation of emigrants in the EU member states (Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Greece). It reviews emigration processes in Lithuania and discusses general tendencies of emigration process as well as programs of emigrants adaptation in the EU member states in short. It submits the comparative analysis of multiculturalism and adaptation of emigrants in the United Kingdom, Germany, Greece and Ireland. The third part of theses reveals the status of women emigrants in the EU member states and discusses their adaptation problems. The fourth and the fifth parts of theses review methodology of study and submit results of the study. They present the analysis of emigrants from Lithuania emigration motives and adaptation study. Women from Lithuania currently residing in the UK, Germany, Ireland and Greece took part in the study.
