Převodovka mobilní elektrocentrály / Gearbox for portable power generator

Kolka, Roman January 2008 (has links)
The submitted project deals with a complete design of a gearbox of a portable ground power generator designed for preflight preparation of helicopters. The gearbox has been designed to meet given specifications, which are based on required electrical parameters of the entire power unit and with regards to parameters of driving turbine engine. The introductory section deals with a kinematical design of transmission gears with regards to required parameters and design constraints. The kinematical design determines whole concept and resulting form of the gearbox. Next part deals with optimization of gearing, the design of wheel bearing, and design of oil system. The implementation part of the project consists in the engineering design of the gearbox, which was made in 3D environment Pro/Engineer. The design is reviewed and first operational results of manufactured and tested gearbox are discussed in the concluding section of this work.

Blaženka, Aleš January 2009 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the adaptation of the information system module for receiving electronic orders. The aim of the work is the implementation of changes into the company information system. The thesis describes and analyzes the situation before the beginning of the adaptation process of the information system. The next part of the thesis discusses suggested changes and timetable for the implementation of the adjustments into the system. The final part deals with the implementation of both the changes and new information system module. The practical part of the thesis discusses the issues of replacing the current HW equipment, network interconnection of single devices, adjustments in the ORACLE database and in a part of the information system programmed in the object oriented language SmallTalk.

RedirFS - portace na jiné OS / Porting of RedirFS on Other OS

Czerner, Lukáš January 2010 (has links)
This thesis describes preparation for porting as well aw porting itself of RedirFS Linux kernel module to FreeBSD. Basic differences between Linux and FreeBSD kernels are described as well as differences in implementation of the Virtual Filesystem, crucial part for RedirFS. Further there are described possibilities and different approaches to implementation RedirFS functionality to FreeBSD. Then, the possibilities are evaluated and ideal approach is proposed. Next chapters introduces required functionality of the new module as well as its solutions. Then the implementation details are described so the reader can very well understand how the new module works and how the required functionality is implemented into the module.

Provozní parametry LED světelných zdrojů / Operating parameters of LED light sources

Janík, Daniel January 2017 (has links)
The aim of the thesis is to introduce the basic photometric quantities and operating parameters of LED light sources, according to which the light sources are evaluated and compared. The thesis examines effects of high temperature and elevated stress on LED retrofits and a design of measurement methods to measure these influences. According to the proposed methods, nine samples of light sources were measured and compared to each other on a basis of the measurements. Comparison was made from the point of view of the energy as well as the quality of the produced light. The results were also compared to the parameters specified by the producers.

Twistory v relativistických teoriích pole / Twistors in relativistic field theories

Nárožný, Jiří January 2017 (has links)
In this thesis, we are concerning about the Twistor theory, field originally motivated purely physically, although these days fully developed into the many fields of mathem- atics and physics. With its complexion Twistor theory influences algebraic geometry, Clifford analysis as well as the String theory or Theory of quantum gravity. In the thesis we describe the origin of twistors projective or not. Mathematical background to the twistor theory is covered in the first chapter, where we study Clifford algebras and their representations. In the first part of the second chapter we are describing non-projective twistors as representation elements of certain Spin-group, and we find the connection with the standard definition of non-projective twistors as a kernel of the twistor operator. In the last part of the second chapter, we create a space of pro- jective twistors and show its certain properties, especially its correspondence with the complexified compactified Minkowski spacetime.

Biokompatibilní beta slitiny titanu zpevněné kyslíkem / Oxygen-strengthened biomedical beta titanium alloys

Preisler, Dalibor January 2018 (has links)
Oxygen strengthened biomedical beta titanium alloys Beta titanium alloy Ti-35Nb-6Ta-7Zr-0.7O (wt. %) exhibits a low Young's modulus and high strength thanks to interstitial strengthening effect of oxygen. These mechanical properties are promising for implant production. In this thesis, the aforementioned alloy is thoroughly studied in conditions prepared by various thermomechanical treatments, namely: material after casting, hot compression testing, die-forging, hot rolling and finally, cold-swaged and annealed condition. Mechanical properties and microstructure of prepared conditions are studied with special interest of enhancing the fatigue performance that is poor after casting due to porosity and large grains. The hot rolling was shown to improve the fatigue performance significantly, mainly through grain refinement. It is shown that by combining the effects of cold-swaging and recrystallization annealing, extensive refinement of grain structure can be achieved. Industrial aspects of implant production by the studied methods were discussed. In the second part of the thesis, the possibility of lowering the Young's modulus by reducing the beta phase stability (by reducing of Nb and Ta content), while retaining high strength caused by high interstitial oxyen content is explored. Several alloys were...

Třídy modulů motivované algebraickou geometrií / Classes of modules arising in algebraic geometry

Slávik, Alexander January 2020 (has links)
This thesis summarises the author's results in representation theory of rings and schemes, obtained with several collaborators. First, we show that for a quasicompact semiseparated scheme X, the derived category of very flat quasicoherent sheaves is equivalent to the derived category of flat quasicoherent sheaves, and if X is affine, this is further equivalent to the homotopy category of projectives. Next, we prove that if R is a commutative Noetherian ring, then every countably generated flat module is quite flat, i.e., a direct summand of a transfinite extension of localizations of R in countable multiplicative subsets. Further, we investigate the relations between the geometric and categorical purity in categories of sheaves; we give a characterization of indecomposable geometric pure-injectives in both the quasicoherent and non-quasicoherent case. In partic- ular, we describe the Ziegler spectrum and its geometric part for the category of quasicoherent sheaves on the projective line over a field. The final result is the equivalence of the following statements for a quasicompact quasiseparated scheme X: (1) the category QCoh(X) of all quasicoherent sheaves on X has a flat generator; (2) for every injective object E of QCoh(X), the internal Hom functor into E is exact; (3) for some injective...

Accelerated long range electrostatics computations on single and multiple FPGAs

Ducimo, Anthony 22 January 2021 (has links)
Classical Molecular Dynamics simulation (MD) models the interactions of thousands to millions of particles through the iterative application of basic Physics. MD is one of the core methods in High Performance Computing (HPC). While MD is critical to many high-profile applications, e.g. drug discovery and design, it suffers from the strong scaling problem, that is, while large computer systems can efficiently model large ensembles of particles, it is extremely challenging for {\it any} computer system to increase the timescale, even for small ensembles. This strong scaling problem can be mitigated with low-latency, direct communication. Of all Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Integrated Circuits (ICs), Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are the computational component uniquely applicable here: they have unmatched parallel communication capability both within the chip and externally to couple clusters of FPGAs. This thesis focuses on the acceleration of the long range (LR) force, the part of MD most difficult to scale, by using FPGAs. This thesis first optimizes LR acceleration on a single-FPGA to eliminate the amount of on-chip communication required to complete a single LR computation iteration while maintaining as much parallelism as possible. This is achieved by designing around application specific memory architectures. Doing so introduces data movement issues overcome by pipelined, toroidal-shift multiplexing (MUXing) and pipelined staggering of memory access subsets. This design is then evaluated comprehensively and comparatively, deriving equations for performance and resource consumption and drawing metrics from previously developed LR hardware designs. Using this single-FPGA LR architecture as a base, FPGA network strategies to compute the LR portion of larger sized MD problems are then theorized and analyzed.
