Thesis is concerned with transferred competency of municipalities and its financing. There has come through a reform of public administration in the Czech Republic not long ago, which transferred a part of execution of state administration to municipalities. Thesis summarizes legal basis on which this process is realized. It also describes typology of municipalities and the extent of its transferred competence. Main part of this thesis is focused on analysis of transferred competency financing. Object of the thesis is to prove or to disprove an idea that the municipalities have to use their own funds to finance the execution of the state administration.

This Thesis focuses on assessment of tax revenue in the structure of income in the budgets of municipalities. A sub-component is an analysis of revenue and expenditure structure and outline the issue of budgetary allocation of taxes.The theoretical part summarizes the conclusions of previous guidelines of economic theories that focus on local government finances , describes legislation and financial management of municipalities in the Czech Republic, introduces the topic of budgetary allocation of taxes. In the practical part analyzes in detail the real budgets of three municipalities different in size which are located in the administrative district with extended competence Písek. Currently, in the Czech Republic is the issue of small municipalities being discussed. Therefore, the theoretical part touches the issue of small municipalities, too and the analytical part follows with the selection of examples from the smallest size categories, i.e. to 199 and from 200 to 499 inhabitants and for comparison there is also the example from the biggest size category, i.e. over 20 000 inhabitants. I was dealing with the structure of municipal revenues and expenditures in the average numbers during the period 2007-2009 for all three selected municipalities and then with development of tax revenues in the years 2007, 2008 and 2009. At the end is made the comparison of the villages to the average numbers recalculated per capita in the period of time to eliminate some incidental variations and lower the risk of distortion.

This diploma thesis deals with the regional and municipal economic revenue analysis. The theoretical part of the work is aimed at the determination of the basic bonds in the public service and its financing in general terms. The practical part follows the nation-wide gross tax yield and the shares resulted from it. These shares flow to the region and municipal budgets. There is also a revenue budget analysis of some selected municipalities. The analysis of four municipalities -- the town of Trebic, the town of Hrotovice, the municipality of Radkovice u Hrotovic and the Vysocina Region was made in 2001 -- 2008 and first of all with the survey of revenues from the taxes. The conclusion of the work is devoted to the comparison of revenues that were assigned to the local budgets from country-wide gross tax yield.

This thesis deals with the accounting reform and its impal on the economy in terms of specific municipalities of the České Velenice 2009, 2010 and 2011. The work id devided in two parts. The first part is theoretical, this section describes the general characteristics of minicipalities, budget and accounting reform. The sekond part is ractical and in this part applies an accounting reform in the specific municipalities České Velenice, analyze income and expenditure, management and implementation of budgets.

The thesis deals with research of influence of increasing number of residents on municipality's economy situation. Text itself concerns with analysis of municipality's law framework, way of its financing and specification of power, that have agents of every single municipality. Real financial budgets for the period 2001 -- 2011 are checked by using these theoretical information. The goal of the thesis is to find out the financial statement's changes, which relates to increase of residents.

This master thesis deals with analysis of indebtedness and economy of city Havlíčkův Brod in 2010 – 2016. In the theritorial part is defined the territorial self-goverment in the Czech republic, management, indebtedness, revenues and expenditures of city. The analytical part contains the basic information about Havlíčkův Brod. It also deals analysis of the economy and the indebtedness of the city in the years. The final part of the thesis contains suggestions for improvement of the city’s economy.

This master thesis deals with budget economy of municipality Hovorany in the years 2009 - 2015. The theoretical part defines the territorial self-government in the Czech Republic, as well as management of the municipality, budget revenues and budget expenditures. The analytical part contains basic information about the village Hovorany, analysis and subsequent evaluation of budget management in the years. The last part deals with proposals to improve the management of the municipality Hovorany.

The thesis discusses the possibility of financing investment projects of the municipality Tavíkovice, which plans to make costly investments in roads. Based on the financial and credit analysis the offer of financing this investment by obtaining a loan or a grant will be presented to the municipality. The credit parameters are set as not to overcapitalize of the municipality in order for the municipality to able to perform other investments during the loan repayment.

The subject of the thesis, the course of the budgetary process and economic analysis of Pelhřimov indebtedness of the town and the effect of this moment of crisis to profit center. On the basis of theoretical facts and practical findings was analyzed past financial management of the city in 2006 - 2009. The thesis concentrates especially on the most significant budget item, which means they come from and derive income. In the end was analysed financing of municipal budget, debt and built the financial outlook.

Aim of this work is to analyze the possibility of drawing funds from European Union funds to finance community development activities. Given that the Slovak Republic is an EU member, is also able to draw funds from these sources and improve the living standard of citizens. Based on previous development of public finances, reform of local government, the structure of income and expenditure of municipalities in Slovakia and analysis of the specific communities, work assesses the impact of actually drawn from EU funds on the municipal budget, a municipality to be self -- financing EU projects and predicts the development in the future.
