System for data mining Fit-Miner is now dependant on only one specific DBMS. This master’s thesis  deals with analysis of implementation that works with database, modules and functions for data mining. Next it shows the set of changes which will allow FIT-Miner to work with another DBMS. And finally, a description of the implementation of these changes.

This master's thesis describes principles of full text search engines, design and implementation of web application for referencing and full text searching in PDF documents. It also contains an overview and comparison with currently available reference management software. There are discussed bibliographic information export possibilities in various citation styles and formats. Final application is written in PHP scripting language and uses MySQL database.

This master's thesis presents methods for mining important pieces of information from text. It analyses the problem of terms extraction from large document collection and describes the implementation using C# language and Microsoft SQL Server. The system uses stemming and a number of statistical methods for term extraction. This project also compares used methods and suggests the process of the dictionary derivation.

This master's thesis aims to develop own wiki module for information system of our faculty based on knowledge of known wiki systems. The project introduces the basic information and syntax of three wiki systems, specifically MediaWiki, DokuWiki and WikkaWiki; introduces also the WikiCreole project, which tries to set up easier way for users to contribute to different wiki systems that defines common syntax. Then it deals with design and implementation of own wiki module to the information system of faculty. The project also introduces with universal wiki system concept. This project deals with analysis of brute force attacks focused on breaking authentication of common services (especially ssh) of Linux and xBSD operating systems. It also examines real attacks, actual tools and ways of detection of theese attacks. Finaly there are designed new mechanisms of coordination and evaluation of distributed brute force attacks in distributed environment. Furthermore, the thesis aims at project HADES (HAloalkane DEhalogenase databaSe) initiated by protein engineering group of Loschmidt Laboratories, Masaryk University in Brno. This is a project whose main goal is simply to store, preserve and display a wide variety of proteins data. The result of this work is a flexible database system allowing easy extensibility and maintainability, which is built on technologies Apache, PostgreSQL and PHP using the Zend Framework.

Main object of this thesis is design information system for warehouse management for Fi & Ho Trading Company, which will be accessible through web. Warehouse will be based on portal technology and connected with E-shop. In this thesis will be described elements of information system, resources used for realization, processes coverage by information system and complex evaluation of this information system.

The main goal of this master‘s thesis was to create software solution suitable for measuring and results processing of regularity rally races and to create supplementary web application. The measuring application was created using integrated development environment Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 and c# programming language. For application to work correctly, it was necessary to create a database model, using MySQL relational database management system. The measuring application can work both with local and remote database server. Web application allows user to see various data including results of racing events or tournaments, data are being fetched from the MySQL database. There was an option to explore existing circuit racing software Vola Timing Circuit – Pro for inspiration.
