Diferença da caracterização tecidual ultrassonográfica (CATUS) comparada com a ultrassonografia modo B na hiperplasia miointimal em aorta de coelhos induzidos com aterosclerose / Difference between ultrasonographic tissue characterization (CATUS) and B-mode ultrasonography in myointimal hyperplasia in the aorta rabbits with induced atherosclerosis - qualitative studyBuarque, Ticiana Leal Leite (Ticiana Leal e Leite) 13 February 2014 (has links)
Context: miointimal thickening is a early vascular changes, above the sign ateromatosa. Such thickening corresponds to an early stage of atherosclerosis, which can be viewed through the B mode ultrasound; having this thickening prognostic value well demonstrated as a predictor of future vascular events. The grayscale ultrasound was used until recently as a non-invasive method pattern to identify and discriminate the composition of atherosclerotic plaque. An innovative approach of analysis of radio signals emitted by B-mode ultrasound, made possible the development of an ultrasound technique called color ultrasound tissue characterization (CATUS), this is promising in atherosclerotic vulnerable plaque detection and evaluation of his natural history; soon, prospective studies using the analysis provided by this instrument can corroborate the distinction of boards susceptible to rupture and,
consequently assist in prevention of cardiovascular events. Objective: To determine the difference of ultrasound tissue characterization (CATUS) compared to B-mode ultrasonography in myointimal hyperplasia. Hypothesis: There is difference in ultrasound tissue characterization compared to B-mode ultrasonography in myointimal hyperplasia. Type of study: experimental, cross-sectional comparative study. Sample: The sample was probabilistic, for convenience, in aortas of 10 albino rabbits of the genus Oryctolagus cuniculus, belonging to New Zeland. Variable: The difference of ultrasound tissue
characterization (CATUS) compared to B-mode ultrasound in myointimal hyperplasia.

Vliv nového kryokonzervačního protokolu na imunogenicitu a rejekci tepenných aloštěpů u potkanů / Influence of new cryopreservation protocol on immunogenicity and rejection of arterial allografts in ratsHrubý, Jan January 2021 (has links)
The aim of the presented experimental work was to study an acute cell and antibody- mediated immune response in recipients of abdominal aortic grafts treated by a new standardized clinical cryopreservation/slow thawing protocol used in the "Vascular graft transplant program in the Czech Republic" in a rat model. Another aim of our study was to compare the influence of two basic types of conservation protocols used in this program (cryopreservation/slow thawing protocol and cold-stored protocol) on the acute immune response after transplantation of such treated abdominal aortic grafts in rats. Cryopreserved abdominal aortic grafts were transplanted syngeneously between Lewis rats (CRYO-ISO group, cryopreservation period 172.6 days) and allogeneically between Brown-Norway and Lewis rats (CRYO-ALO group, cryopreservation period 179.3 days). The grafts were explanted on day 30 after transplantation and subsequently examined by histological and immunohistochemical methods, focusing on typical signs of acute rejection in the three basic layers of the aortic wall. We monitored the presence of endothelial cells, signs of intimal hyperplasia, tunica media thickness, the presence of necrosis and deposition of imunoglobulin class G in this layer, the number of CD4+, CD8+ and LEW MHC II+ immunocompetent cells...
