Les objectifs de cette étude étaient de comprendre l'hydrologie et l'évolution morphologique d'un cours d'eau agricole pour en améliorer la gestion. Le cours d'eau Cloutier-Perrier, drainant 4.5km en Montérégie, a été analysé à partir de mesures hydrologiques, d'arpentages et de photographies aériennes. Les mesures de pluie et de débit (2009 à 2011) ont permis l'analyse de 28 événements hydrologiques. Le temps de concentration mesuré a été bien estimé par les équations Aéroport, Mockus ou Bransby Williams et les débits de pointe mesurés ont été bien estimés par la méthode rationnelle ou SCS hydrogramme triangulaire combinée au temps de Mockus ou SCS lag et à la hauteur de ruissellement calculée selon Monfet. L'étude morphologique a montré que les valeurs seuils d'énergie associées à la sédimentation ou la régression étaient respectivement de 7 et 26 W/m2. Un espace de mobilité, d'une largeur de 20 mètres, serait nécessaire sur 22% de la longueur du lit.
