Enhanced NMS Tool Architecture for Discovery and Monitoring of Nodes

Basa, Srinivas, Ganji, Naveen January 2008 (has links)
The thesis work intends to provide an architecture for discovery and monitoring of nodes in a network with improved performance and security. The proposed work addresses limitations identified within the scope of this thesis. The limitations are identified by analyzing some of the better existing monitoring tools in the market with the use of different protocols. The proposed work use different protocols depending on the situation of the problem that exists in a network. Analyze the existing network monitoring tools, by performing metrics and overcoming the limitations. We proposed a new architecture motivated from traditional network monitoring tools with subtle changes. Proposed architecture is also conceptually evaluated for its viability. / 0045-31272355, basasrinu@yahoo.co.in,ji_nav@yahoo.co.in

A representation of Network Elements within the Operation Support Systems

Ceinos, Yannick January 2005 (has links)

Currently, our world is getting more and more connected: information flows are everywhere at anytime. We are only at the beginning of the communication era. Which paths they take, using optical fibres or regular copper cables, such questions do not matter for end-customers.

As a part of a telecommunication company, these questions do really matter. As networks become increasingly complex, it is significant to keep them under control and make them reliable to deliver high-quality services to users.

One of our main problems is how to get a representation of this network. More precisely how to get a relevant image of elements that compose this huge web and what points are significant in order to increase the quality of offered services. This thesis will try to answer these questions.

A representation of Network Elements within the Operation Support Systems

Currently, our world is getting more and more connected: information flows are everywhere at anytime. We are only at the beginning of the communication era. However, few want to know how those data are delivered as long as they are well delivered.

Vliv klimatických podmínek na bezdrátové routery / Wireless Routers and Infuence on Climatic Conditions

Martinka, David January 2018 (has links)
This thesis deals with problematics of installing wireless routers into specific locations depending on their heating and ideal signal transmission. The thesis is divided into eight chapters. The beginning of the thesis is theoretical describes the introduction into the problematics, the second part is practical and covers the executed experiment. The theoretical part contains six chapters – heat, signal, wireless router and measured climatic conditions. The practical part describes the executed experiment by thermo-camera which was used to scan wireless routers in IoT Lab in Avast Software company. Based on this experiment, the ideal position for installing the wireless router is then established. The conclusion of the practical part includes an analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey, in which technically skilled people were asked to describe the height of installation of their wireless router or whether did they consider heat and signal propagation while installing their wireless routers.

Optimalizace řízení aktivního síťového prvku / Optimization of Active Network Element Control

Přecechtěl, Roman January 2009 (has links)
The thesis deals with the use of neuronal networks for the control of telecommunication network elements. The aim of the thesis is to create a simulation model of network element with switching array with memory, in which the optimization kontrol switching array is solved by means of the neural network. All source code is created in integrated environment MATLAB. To training are used feed-forward backpropagation network. Miss achieve satisfactory result mistakes. Work apposite decision procedure given to problem and it is possible on ni tie up in an effort to find optimum solving.
