How can small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) compete over time within international networks? This thesis takes a stance in that business network relationships are essential for international SMEs as such networks can provide knowledge and learning opportunities. International network competitiveness is, in this thesis, introduced as a concept that captures SMEs long term performance, resulting from the firms being competitive within international business networks. This thesis thereafter proposes that an analytical framework of International network competitiveness, can promote the study of SMEs' long term performance within international networks. The thesis subsequently acknowledges that SMEs frequently need to develop a combination of technical- and foregin market knowledge so as to stay competitive within international networks. In fact, technical knowledge development is central for an increasingly wider selection of firms, not only high tech firms. By investigating the function of co-innovation (innovation together with network partners), for the proposed components of international network competitiveness, the thesis demonstrate that innovation has intriguing and central functions for the international network competitiveness of SMEs. / <p>Diss. Procura responder como essas redes de suprimentos, e as empresas e cadeias que as compõem, são coordenadas para produzir em conjunto. Especificamente, busca compreender como as associações de ação coletiva contribuem para sua coordenação. Com base na revisão da literatura de redes de suprimentos e de associações de ação coletiva, foi projetada uma pesquisa de múltiplos casos nas associações da rede de suprimentos da construção civil no Brasil. Os resultados indicam que novos processos e mecanismos de coordenação das redes estão sendo criados ou reformulados para atender às exigências da nova estrutura de produção em redes. É proposta uma série de ações coletivas para melhorar as operações e gestão das empresas, cadeias e redes. / This research belongs to the field of studies of the supply networks, as fragmented and complex organization and structure of independent firms, to produce and deliver value packages (goods and services) needed to satisfy the clients’ wills and needs. Research to answer how these networks, and the supply chains and firms embedded in it, are coordinated to produce together. Specifically, research to understand how associations of collective action contribute to it. Based on the supply chain and networks literature revision, a field multiple cases research was designed, on collective action associations in the construction industry in Brazil. The results show that new processes and mechanisms of network coordination are being created or reshaped to reach the demands of the new network production structure. It is proposed a series of collective social actions to improve operations and management of firms, supply chains and supply networks.

Жилищно-коммунальный комплекс является важнейшей составляющей в системе жизнеобеспечения граждан, охватывает практически все население страны и в связи с этим занимает исключительное положение в ряду прочих отраслей экономики. По данным Федеральной службы статистики на протяжении 2013-2017 гг. российский рынок услуг ЖКХ характеризуется положительной динамикой. Ежегодный прирост показателя обеспечивался как за счет прироста жилищного фонда и развития коммунальной инфраструктуры, так и за счет повышения тарифов на жилищно-коммунальные услуги. В работе рассматривается деятельность службы водоотведения МУП Водоканал, выявлены проблемы и предложены пути повышения эффективности деятельности. / The housing and communal complex is the most important component in the life support system of citizens, covers almost the entire population of the country and, in this regard, occupies an exceptional position among other sectors of the economy. According to the Federal Statistics Service during 2013-2017. The Russian housing and communal services market is characterized by positive dynamics. The annual increase in the indicator was ensured both by an increase in the housing stock and the development of communal infrastructure, and by an increase in tariffs for housing and communal services. The work considers the activities of the water disposal service of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise Vodokanal, identified problems and proposed ways to increase the efficiency of activities.
