Previous issue date: 2018-08-17 / Este trabalho propõe a desagregação por componentes de localidade do índice de inflação no Brasil como forma de melhorar o desempenho preditivo de modelos econométricos. Foram desenvolvidos modelos autorregressivos com ou sem variáveis macroeconômicas explicativas para se avaliar como a desagregação impacta em cada um deles. Além disso, foram utilizados dois testes estatísticos para se comparar o desempenho dos modelos, o Model Confidence Set e o Superior Predictive Ability. Observou-se que para curto prazo, como horizontes de até 3 meses, modelos autorregressivos de 1ª ordem possuem desempenho imbatível, ao passo que para horizontes mais distantes, modelo macroeconômicos e desagregados geram previsões estatisticamente superiores. / This work proposes the disaggregation of locality components from Brazil´s inflation index to enhance predictive performance of econometric models. Autorregressive models were implemented with or without explicative macroeconomic variables, in order to evaluate how the disaggregation affects each one of them. Besides that, it has been used two statistical tests to compare model forecast performance, the Model Confidence Set and the Superior Predictive Ability. For short term, up to 3 months, autorregressive models showed unachievable performance, whereas for longer terms, macroeconomic disaggregated models generate statistically superior forecasts.

The diploma thesis describes the current situation on the rental housing market in selected city parts of the Statutory City of Brno and describes and evaluates the basic factors that influence the rental price. Part of the thesis is a market research in four different locations in Brno, namely Žabovřesky, Bystrc, Líšeň and Bohunice. Market research is conducted for different layouts of apartments, namely 1+1 and 1+kk, 2+1 and 2+kk, 3+1 and 3+kk. All collected data are compared and described in text and graphics. In order to compare the rental market with foreign countries, the thesis also includes a market survey in Bratislava, specifically in the district of Petržalka.

The main aim of Diploma thesis is to evaluate the family house before and after reconstruction in three different locations graded by population. Three selected methods are used for the valuation, namely: the cost method according to the valuation regulation, the comparative method according to the valuation regulation, and the method of direct comparison. The cost method takes into account the design of the family house in both states, the land is valued by direct comparison. Key indexes are taken into account in the comparative method according to the valuation rule. In the direct comparison method, we work with a database of single-family houses in a range of locations.

This diploma thesis is focused on issues of socially excluded Romany locality in Litvínov - Janov. The problematic situation is described in the thesis. There is a higher number of socially handicapped people with a wide range of social problems like unemployment, insolvency, occurrence of socio-pathological phenomena including criminal behaviour in this locality. The occurrence of socio-pathological phenomena within the socially handicapped people causes conflicts with other residents living in the locality. The diploma thesis also focuses on the precautions and policies made by the city of Litvínov to solve such problematic situation. Each precaution is subsequently described. Furthermore, there is an evaluation of these precautions by means of monitoring social indicators. In result, it is possible to say that there are no signs of distinctive improvement of the situation in the locality. In the conclusion, further precautions are recommended for finding a solution to this problematic situation in the housing estate. The recommended precautions arise from the analysis executed in the locality Janov and from precautions realised by the city of Litvínov.

It uses statistical models whose parame- ters are derived from the analysis of a parallel corpus required for the training. The existence of a parallel corpus is the most important prerequisite for building an effective SMT system. Various properties of the corpus, such as its volume and quality, highly affect the results of the translation. The web can be considered as an ever-growing source of considerable amounts of parallel data to be mined and included in the training process, thus increasing the effectiveness of SMT systems. The first part of this thesis summarizes some of the popular methods for acquiring parallel corpora from the web. The work of teacher in excluded localities with Romany pupils is demanding, it requires a high degree of resilience, adaptability, perseverance and resilience. Children growing up in an environment of social exclusion have acquired values, habits and behavior patterns that make it more difficult for them to integrate into the school environment. A teacher from an excluded location should understand the acting and behavior of Romany pupils and help these pupils to successfully master the educational process. The aim of my work is to find out the specifics of the teacher's work in the excluded locality. The qualitatively oriented research is focused on the problems, that teachers face from Roman pupils in their education in excluded localities, their opinions on the education of Romany pupils and on their motivation to educate these pupils in an excluded location. Data are obtained using semi-structured interviews with teachers from excluded localities. The conclusion of my work is a discussion of the research results, where the information from the professional literature is compared with my personal experience and the respondents' testimonies.
