Šumava-příroda a lidé-očima Karla Klostermanna / Šumava-nature and people-Through the eyes of Karel Klostermann

Žaba, Ladislav January 2012 (has links)
ŠUMAVA - NATURE AND PEOPLE - THROUGH THE EYES OF KAREL KLOSTERMANN (with special attention to the frequency, ways and possibilities of individual colours' usage) The aim of this thesis is to designate and describe qualities of the residents of the central Bohemian Forest and the attributes of local nature in the way they were depicted by the writer Karel Klostermann (1848-1923). The results of individual analyses performed in this thesis present the inhabitants of the Bohemian Forest as a society that is conservative, religion-based, maybe even superstitious and bearing a certain distrust to the surrounding world. The Bohemian Forest's landscape is very demanding, the impact of which is visible in the inhabitants' character traits - the increased directness and, in certain aspects, vulgarity of people living under these conditions. Nature is often approached as a literary image that is further developed in accordance with the spirit of impressionism. This is concluded, among other sources, from the specific use of colours that is further analyzed. The emphasis of sense perception pervades almost every descriptive passage.

Trénovatelné metody pro automatické zpracování biomedicínských obrazů / Trainable Methods for Automatic Biomedical Image Processing

Uher, Václav January 2018 (has links)
This thesis deals with possibilities of automatic segmentation of biomedical images. For the 3D image segmentation, a deep learning method has been proposed. In the work problems of network design, memory optimization method and subsequent composition of the resulting image are solved. The uniqueness of the method lies in 3D image processing on a GPU in combination with augmentation of training data and preservation of the output size with the original image. This is achieved by dividing the image into smaller parts with the overlay and then folding to the original size. The functionality of the method is verified on the segmentation of human brain tissue on magnetic resonance imaging, where it overcomes human accuracy when compared a specialist vs. specialist, and cell segmentation on a slices of the Drosophila brain from an electron microscope, where published results from the impacted paper are overcome.

Audiovizuální performance v kontextu digitálního prostředí / Audiovisual performance in the context of digital environment

Kořínek, Tomáš January 2016 (has links)
The goal of this thesis is to describe the influence of technological development on the ways in which the moving image is created and to introduce forms that this medium attains in the area of live audio-visual performances. The theoretical study approaches this topic as a historical overview of technical image, focusing on its connections with music. It thus observes specific creative processes of the avant-garde film and music video and subsequently puts them into the context of current types of moving picture created as a result of software codes. Based on the definitions of digital media's key principles, a theoretical basis is set up and then applied to the description of contemporary forms of audio-visual performances. These principles are also used for the definition of the features of software tools, numeric representations of which make it possible to work with any type of an image as with a set of mathematical functions. The main result of this thesis is thus a presentation of creative possibilities of today's image, which has - thanks to digital devices - disengaged itself from its previous technical limitation and become a fully dynamic element that can be created and modified in real time.

Kadlecová, Vladimíra January 2012 (has links)
The topic of my diploma thesis is a comparison of speculation about a film from two perspectives. Firstly, it deals with the approach of Jan Mukařovský, a Czech structuralist, who was one of the first in the Czech context to explore the time concept in a film. Secondly, it considers the approach of Gillese Deleuze, who was accredited with the new view on the time-image in a film, however, much later than Jan Mukařovský. The aim of the paper is to explain the way the approaches of Mukařovský and Deluze relate to other approaches of thinking about time in films, the influence of other concepts of their time that they both theoretically based their views on, as well as specifying the films that became the starting points of exploring the time in films. The method of comparison is divided into three aspects, as three comparison levels.
