The diploma thesis deals with contextual advertising with a view to Google AdWords. The aim of the thesis is to build a Google AdWords account for a non-profit organization TJ Sokol and to evaluate successfulness as well as potential of these form of advertising in non-profit organizations. In theoretical framework there is a definition of contextual advertising, briefly described its history, principle, advantages and disadvantages. Furthermore there are various contextual advertising systems in Czech Republic compared to each other. The thesis focuses in detail on Google AdWords system description from the initial account creation to its basic parts -- campaigns, ad groups, keywords, ads and conversions. This part also deals with the connection to web analytical service Google Analytics. The account creation for non-profit organization TJ Sokol is described in practical section of the thesis. The preparations which needed to be done, account development and account optimization are mentioned in this section as well. Final Google AdWords performance evaluation is generalized to small non-profit organizations and general recommendations for effective and successful ad campaigns are made based on this evaluation.

This work deals with internet advertising. Describes the basic characteristics of Internet marketing, survey errors that nascent entrepreneurs engage in formulating goals. Discusses the different types of advertising on the Internet usable in terms of functionality, payment options. It also offers an overview of advertising systems that provide these types of ads. In connection with advertising, the work deals with the problem of blocking. On show are the best known systems that block ads, but also ways to bypass such systems. The aim is to give people who want to invest money into advertising, relevant information about our services and help them choose the right type of promotion for your website. According to predefined criteria to verify the suitability of advertising and advertising system on the guesthouse accommodation in Spindleruv Mlyn. The performance is selected advertising system, its functions, a detailed procedure for creating the campaign and its optimization. The results presented show that the ad was chosen correctly. In addition, there are suggested ways to improve an existing campaign.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att öka kunskapsområdet och förståelsen kring företagens användning av sökmotoroptimering och sökmotormarknadsföring, avseende integrering med andra digitala marknadsföringskanaler. Teoretisk referensram: De teorier som använts i denna studie är Push/Pull, The 4S Web Marketing Mix Model, Integrated Marketing Communication Mix och Digital Marketing Channel Decision Model. Metod: Denna studie utgår ifrån en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi där det empiriska underlaget har samlats in genom sju semistrukturerade telefonintervjuer. Slutsatser: Syftet med att använda sökmotorer är främst för att få synlighet och nå målgruppen. Sökmotormarknadsföring används i större utsträckning för att synas när de är hög konkurrens medan sökmotoroptimering används för att förse kunder med relevant information. Studiens slutsats visar att det krävs att det utvecklas en marknadsföringsmodell som utgår ifrån att kunder idag kontrollerar köpprocessen gällande hur företag ska förse kunder med information. Huruvida sökmotormarknadsföring integreras beror på företagens mål samt hur de integrerar digitala byråer i sin verksamhet. Företag med konkreta mål kan lättare anpassa strategi i sökmotorer efter andra digitala kanaler. Företag som anlitar byråer bör integrera byråerna i den digitala strategin för att anpassa strategi i sökmotorer efter andra digitala kanaler. / Purpose: The purpose of this research is to increase the area of knowledge and understanding of companies use of search engine optimization and search engine marketing, regarding integration with other digital marketing channels. Theoretical frame of reference: The theories used in this study are Push/Pull, The 4S web Marketing Mix Model, Integrated Marketing Communication Mix and Digital Marketing Channel Decision Model. Method: This study is based on a qualitative research strategy where the empirical data has been collected through seven semi-structured telephone interviews. Conclusions: The purpose of using search engines is primarily to gain visibility and reach the target audience. Search engine marketing is used to a greater extent to be seen when there is high competition while search engine optimization is used to provide customers with relevant information. The study's conclusion shows that it is necessary to develop a marketing model that is based on customers controlling the purchasing process regarding how companies should provide customers with information. Whether search engine marketing is integrated depends on the companies' goals and how they integrate digital agencies into their operations. Companies with concrete goals can adapt strategy in search engines with other digital channels. Companies that hire agencies should integrate the agencies into the digital strategy in order to adapt the strategy in search engines with other digital channels.

Att företag använder sig av influencers som ett marknadsföringsverktyg på sociala medier blir allt vanligare att se. Precis som det engelska ursprungsordet influence betyder så handlar influencer marketing om att varumärken använder personer med stora nätverk av följare för att påverka andra konsumenter till varumärkeskännedom och köpbeslut. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur varumärken använder sig utav influencers som ett marknadsföringsverktyg för att skapa trovärdighet genom samarbeten på sociala medier. Studien har undersökt vad det finns för möjligheter samt problem som denna typ av marknadsföringsverktyg kan innebära. För att undersöka frågeställningen har författarna intervjuat två medelstora influencers och två stora varumärken inom skönhet. Deras expertis och kunskap inom influencer marketing har bidragit till ett exceptionellt forskningsmaterial för denna studie. Slutsatsen visade på att varumärken som använder influencers som ett marknadsföringsverktyg gör det i syfte att stärka relationen till sina kunder, samtidigt som de vill öka sin varumärkeskännedom. Influencers som samarbetar med varumärken anser sig själva inspirera sina följare att prova nya varumärken, samtidigt som de ger en ärlig och rättvis recension. The purpose of this study is to investigate how brands use influencers as a marketing tool to create credibility through collaborations on social media. The study will examine what opportunities there are as well as problems that this type of marketing tool can entail. To answer the research question, the authors have interviewed two medium-sized influencers and two major beauty brands. Their expertise and knowledge in influencer marketing have contributed to an exceptional research material for this study. The conclusion showed that brands that use influencers as a marketing tool do it, in order to strengthen the relationship with their customers, while at the same time increase their brand awareness. Influencers who work with brands consider themselves to inspire their followers to try new brands, while giving them an honest and fair review. This conclusion links the three parts included in the marketing tool, which are influencers, recipients and brands.

Otimizar simultaneamente os interesses dos usuários, anunciantes e publicadores é um grande desafio na área de publicidade computacional. Mais precisamente, a ordenação de anúncios, ou ad ranking, desempenha um papel central nesse desafio. Por outro lado, nem mesmo as melhores fórmulas ou algoritmos de ordenação são capazes de manter seu status por um longo tempo em um ambiente que está em constante mudança. Neste trabalho, apresentamos uma análise orientada a dados que mostra a importância de combinar diferentes dimensões de publicidade computacional por meio de uma abordagem evolutiva para ordenação de anúncios afim de responder a mudanças de forma mais eficaz. Nós avaliamos as dimensões de valor comercial, desempenho histórico de cliques, interesses dos usuários e a similaridade textual entre o anúncio e a página. Nessa avaliação, nós averiguamos o desempenho e a correlação das diferentes dimensões. Como consequência, nós desenvolvemos uma abordagem evolucionária para combinar essas dimensões. Essa abordagem é composta por três partes: um repositório de configurações para facilitar a implantação e avaliação de experimentos de ordenação; um componente evolucionário de avaliação orientado a dados; e um motor de programação genética para evoluir fórmulas de ordenação de anúncios. Nossa abordagem foi implementada com sucesso em um sistema real de publicidade computacional responsável por processar mais de quatorze bilhões de requisições de anúncio por mês. De acordo com nossos resultados, essas dimensões se complementam e nenhuma delas deve ser neglicenciada. Além disso, nós mostramos que a combinação evolucionária dessas dimensões não só é capaz de superar cada uma individualmente, como também conseguiu alcançar melhores resultados do que métodos estáticos de ordenação de anúncios. / Simultaneous optimization of users, advertisers and publishers\' interests has been a formidable challenge in online advertising. More concretely, ranking of advertising, or more simply ad ranking, has a central role in this challenge. However, even the best ranking formula or algorithm cannot withstand the ever-changing environment of online advertising for a long time. In this work, we present a data-driven analysis that shows the importance of combining different aspects of online advertising through an evolutionary approach for ad ranking in order to effectively respond to changes. We evaluated aspects ranging from bid values and previous click performance to user behavior and interests, including the textual similarity between ad and page. In this evaluation, we assessed commercial performance along with the correlation between different aspects. Therefore, we proposed an evolutionary approach for combining these aspects. This approach was composed of three parts: a configuration repository to facilitate deployment and evaluation of ranking experiments; an evolutionary data-based evaluation component; and a genetic programming engine to evolve ad ranking formulae. Our approach was successfully implemented in a real online advertising system that processes more than fourteen billion ad requests per month. According to our results, these aspects complement each other and none of them should be neglected. Moreover, we showed that the evolutionary combination of these aspects not only outperformed each of them individually, but was also able to achieve better overall results than static ad ranking methods.

The diploma thesis is focused on the social networking sites in terms of their use for increasing the competitiveness of companies. The first part deals with a theoretical introduction to social networks where the basic concepts are defined and then characterized by major networks globally. Each social network is analyzed both in terms of the structure of its users, and are listed as individual options, which provides for promotion within their system - they are mentioned both paid and unpaid opportunities. At the end of this section are described the general possibilities of using social networking for business - ways to measure the impact of these activities, risks and requirements of their operation within the company. The second part is a practical solution to use social networks to support the selected e-commerce business. The introduction provides basic parameters of the e-shop is defined by the competitive environment. The analysis carried out various solutions to various social networks. It is designed and implemented their own social network to the target audience the company. The practical part ends with a final report including recommendations for further progress in the use of social networks. The main contribution of the paper is to present a detailed analysis of selected enterprise communication on social networks, including putting all the relevant data from which the conclusion can be drawn in specific recommendations to further enhance competitiveness.

The presence of social media, the growing base of their users and the time they spend on them fundamentally changes the process of media consumption before the emergence of Web 2.0. Instagram is one of these social networks, whose popularity is still growing. Another of the platforms, which was primarily created to connect people with each other and make it easier for them to communicate with each other, is now, thanks to its demonstrable potential to reach many people, an advertising space that advertisers use extensively. Social media has thus expanded the offer of advertising channels used so far to address the target publication, including lifestyle magazines. Together, these two types of media are the representatives of traditional and new media which are resemble each other for its type of content they offer. They both serve as an entertaining tool for the readers. The questions that this work seeks to answer are whether young users who were born or partially grew up in the digital age are beside being Internet users on a daily bases from an early age also readers of press, in this case, specifically lifestyle magazines.
