  • The Global ETD Search service is a free service for researchers to find electronic theses and dissertations. This service is provided by the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations.
Our metadata is collected from universities around the world. If you manage a university/consortium/country archive and want to be added, details can be found on the NDLTD website.

In this work was analyzed the dynamic of the electron wave packet in a one-dimensional crystalline network under the action of DC/AC electrical field, for this, we use the Tight-Binding model to represent the electronic wave packet. We investigated the circumstances in which the electric fields induce the particle to perform oscillatory motion, the Bloch oscillations, remaining dynamically localized; To accomplish such a task were used the mean square deviation, electronic participation, centroid, and probability of return. In addition, we investigated the effects of the electron-phonon interaction on the dynamics of the package, with emphasis on the polaron formation and its dynamics.
