This diploma thesis aims to analyse the current state of the Chilean business environment and highlight the benefits, opportunities as well as possible threats of the Chilean market for Czech exporters. The work is divided into four chapters. The initial definition of the business environment and the determination of used methods is followed by the actual analysis of the business environment. PESTLE analysis is used to explore the political, economic, socio-cultural, technological, environmental and legal environment of the country. The outputs are processed using SWOT analysis. The third chapter focuses on the relationship of the Czech Republic and Chile, and the fourth part contains three case studies designed to identify specific sectors that are promising for Czech exporters.

The master thesis deals with the possibilities of international expansion in case of the Czech company Logio s.r.o that sells consulting services on B2B market. The main objective is to choose a suitable international market for expansion of the company. Futhermore, market analysis and determination of method of market entering are additional objectives of the thesis. The first part deals with the characteristics of the process, which companies should follow during selection of international market, and various forms of entrance. Then, gained findings are used in process of selecting the most suitable international market for expansion of company Logio s.r.o. Selected market is analysed by using Porter model of 5 forces and PESTEL analysis. The variants of international expansion are specified and compared in the end of the thesis and the most suitable method of market entering is chosen with regard to specifics of the company itself.

The main aim of this diploma thesis is a strategic analysis of a construction company. It is divided into several parts, where the first, theoretical, part explains the fundaments of strategic analysis and clarifies the principles of methods applied. The other, analytical, part of the thesis applies the mentioned theoretical knowledge onto an existing construction company. The PESTEL analysis has been used to analyze the external environment. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the internal environment of the company -- namely its marketing mix and financial situation. The findings of those analyses are summarized through a simplified SWOT analysis, which leads to a proposal of a strategy, and furthermore proposes operative, tactical and strategic measures which would support the strengths and opportunities and minimize the weaknesses and threats of the Isolite, spol. s r. o. company.

This master thesis deals with strategic analysis of Motol University Hospital, which belongs to the largest hospital complex in Central and Eastern Europe providing complex treatment of whole human body at any age (from prenatal to advanced age). The aim of the thesis is a description of hospital management and assessment of the possibility of using the Balanced Scorecard in health care. The theoretical part contains a basic description of strategy creation, selected methods for analysing internal and external environment and a general description of the Balanced Scorecard. The practical part comprises of an executed strategic analysis of Motol University Hospital, and assessment of hospital´s strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis). This thesis also contains a survey of scientific literature concerning the usage of the Balanced Scorecard in health care, specifically in hospitals. A result of this survey helps to assess the feasibility of introducing the Balanced Scorecard in Czech hospitals (those in state ownership). This thesis also includes a proposal of strategic perspectives for Motol University Hospital and an evaluation of advantages and disadvantages of implementation into hospital management. A strategy map displays relationships among proposed goals.

Also here will be indicated and introduced basic energy terms, composition of the electricity prices, history of the electricity market opening, activity of the Energy Regulatory Office and details of the price calculator. Further I will focus on description of the specific external analysis tools. In the practical part of this work I will characterize the whole industry, perform strategic analysis and compare specific suppliers of electricity to households.

Based on the results will be suggested possible solutions for further development of the town.
