No. of bitstreams: 1 000466438-Texto+Completo-0.pdf: 1277341 bytes, checksum: 00e541388107a06db34699ea84fe94ef (MD5) Previous issue date: 2015 / This study is part of the Training Research Line, Policy and Practice in Education, and it is characterized by being a qualitative research, in order to discuss the importance of the school of Basic Education in the training of teacher trainees. It seeks to interact and understand how happen the teaching practices and curriculum supervised internships in basic education schools. Highlight important points as the trajectory of teacher education in Brazil, the relationship of the School of Basic Education with the University, Teachers in Training, Professors and Teachers Supervisors, whose accounts of experiences contributed to this research. The theoretical contributions anchor up mainly of authors such as Pimenta (2000, 2001 and 2004), Nóvoa (1999, 1995), Morosini (2006, 1992), Arroyo (2000), among others. This work is in an ethnographic case study characterized by the description of the school culture (André 2012). The result shows the importance of training teachers insertion in the school environment and points to a relationship, almost non-existent, between training institutions - school and university - and the desire on the part of the schools studied, that this relationship happen so effective, improving the studies, practices and pedagogical doings of professionals already working in primary education schools and teacher training throughout the course.

Silva, Sônia Cristina da January 2016 (has links)
Abstract: The research aims to analyze the mediating role performed by pedagogues in the current basic Paraná state public school, considering as a background, the processes of school culture and school culture as the and everyday movements and influences of contemporary social changes that pervade the process of public schooling. considering the theorems of Forquin, Frago, Heller and Rockweel and Ezpeleta. It locates the pedagogue profession with a brief history context that takes up the issues of ambiguity of this profession over time. It is proposed to investigate whether the role of the pedagogue together with the teacher as a mediator of the teaching-learning process in the face of new scientific and technological needs of the contemporary school. The qualitative research was carried out based on Lüdke, André Mazzoti and Hébert Lessard, and has adopted as a methodology semi-structured interviews with pedagogues who develop successful practices in public schools of Paraná State. The practices examined, called mediating processes, resulted from contemporary historical and sociocultural constraints, and were considered in their dialogue with the new scientific and technological demands of the world today, based on the authors selected in studies on school education in postmodernity: Giroux, Costa, Pinto, Franco, Hagemeyer, Bauman and Bhabha. Were selected pedagogues that showed a significant investment in expanding the knowledge of teachers with the theoretical practical needs of curriculum work and regarding the students' formation. The examined practices, hereinafter referred to as mediator processes, are the result of research guided by the conditions of the historical and sociocultural and it process and its dialogicity with the new scientific, technological and contemporary cultural demands designated by some authors as post modernity. For the investigation, there were interviewed sixteen pedagogues, of which it was selected five professionals who had excelled in their mediating practices contributing significantly to the educational performance at school-time. The intention was to identify in their statements and practices, the concepts, activities and attitudes present in the mediation processes developed by them which in many ways demonstrated: awareness about the modern school's social function, the understanding of educational science as well as the effects its activities promote in the learning process in the school routine. In the analysis, it became clear the emphasis on continuous education processes ongoing and it was found five focus of interest for a mediating role, highlighting: the curricular educational proposal by discipline, evaluation and cultural diversity, technology and students new interest in school, diagnosis and training for autonomy, and registered preparatory class council. These outbreaks, pointed to the performance dimensions to be set by pedagogues in public school in the articulation and organization of the Pedagogical Political Project. As a new dimension of the pedagogical teacher's performance, we have identified the mediating processes that present in the action, the knowledge of theoretical methodological domain, based on pedagogical science and the everyday school knowledge. These processes involve knowledge related to the wider social context and are guided by scientific and technological production, generating new knowledge and domains, which include new strategies for the development of teaching, learning and human training processes. Key words: Teacher Pedagogue. Pedagogical Science. Contemporary School Function. Mediation processes.

Innovation is conceived from a theoretical and epistemological perception presuming tension and ruptures of principles supporting prevailing education models. Such approach was chosen since PIBID is an innovative program, which aims to tension educational teaching models and enhance the interaction between university and school. The theoretical-methodological investigation attempted to discuss teaching initiation as innovative proposal in the context of teachers‟ education. Regarding to methodology, a case study was carried out as an interdisciplinary subproject of PIBID in a Community Institution of Higher Education of Rio Grande do Sul. Data was collected through interviews and observations with the scholarship teamwork in three partner schools. Aiming at discussing educational innovation in the program, two study approaches were developed. The first one aimed to reflect on the contributions of PIBID regarding the models of teaching education. Reconsidering connection between theory and practice and the interdisciplinary perspective and the school as a learning teaching environment are empirical highlighted aspects that indicate ruptures and innovation regarding such models. The second study approach aimed to investigate the interaction of PIBID with the school culture. Interdisciplinary practice and epistemological and methodological implications emerge as the main factors that cause tensions and ruptures with the school culture hegemony. Results indicate that teaching initiation as an experience of teacher education reinvention has become an area of confluence and contrast of perspectives, beliefs and conceptions about teaching. Therefore, PIBID – herewith designed as the third bank of the river - has fulfilled its purpose concerning teacher‟s education.

It had the following objectives: revisit the being a teacher and his teaching DO; identify aspects that Buddhism adds into personal and professional lives of teachers in their constitutive dimensions: social, emotional, spiritual and rational; analyze the possibilities of self-construction of human being, through the Buddhist teachings; interpret the benefits of Buddhist teachings over time for self-construction of the human being from the perspective of education for wholeness. The research is qualitative, a comprehensive-interpretative perspective (TURATO, 2003) and based on the understanding that changing the external occurs with self-knowledge and inner transformation (NÓVOA, 2009; PALMER, 2013).The research was conducted with two groups of subjects: the first, made up of four educators who have incorporated in their day to day, for more than five years, the teachings of Tibetan Buddhism, the Nyingma lineage; the second with six teachers, who are not practitioners of this philosophy. It was performed as data search strategies: weekly meetings to study and practice the Buddhist teachings (CHAGDUD, 2013); semi-structured interviews; and two instruments, called Wheel of Life - Being Integral and Form Being Integral, both created by this researcher, in order to support the subjects to careful reflection to the human being in its entirety. The weekly meetings were analyzed by Qualitative Analysis Basic (CRESWELL, 2010) and through steps presented by Severino (2000); semi-structured interviews were analyzed using the Text Analysis Discourse (MORAES & Galiazzi, 2011); and the instruments, the Analysis Descriptive Statistics (Appolinario, 2006).The investigation revealed that the contribution of Buddhism depends on the practice of the subjects, applying the teachings in daily life and the practice remains evident that Buddhism contributes to the self-construction of the human being from the perspective of education for wholeness, significantly. There was confirmation of how the Buddha are effective methods. The subjects who practiced Buddhism for two months experienced, in short, change in their perceptions, actions and consequently the results. With an observer stance of own thoughts, feelings and words, made them more responsible, loving actions and reaped therefore a more meaningful, peaceful and happy life. Buddhist teachers who have demonstrated a completely different life that they had before knowing Buddhism, more positive, compassionate, less suffering, after several years of practice. The results leave open spaces for further research, not only to expand knowledge, but in order to provide personal transformations and improvements in education and society, the self-construction of a whole human being from the perspective of education for wholeness.

Martins, Cristina January 2015 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2016-02-11T01:04:06Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 000477177-Texto+Completo-0.pdf: 1667958 bytes, checksum: b2646cc1bd3aeacadcedaa6f3e910912 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2015 / This thesis, associated to the Graduate Program in Education at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, in the line of research on Training, Policies and Practices in Education, discusses the challenges of teachers’ formation to work with cyberculture, where the school and university system preserves outdated paradigmatic heritages. Moreover, new meanings aimed at the complete education of the student are necessary. Our guiding question is as follows: what are the relations between the development of educational gamified practices and the formation background of teachers in the Early Years of Elementary Education in a private school in Porto Alegre/RS? The objective was to investigate how the formation background of professors of Early Years (EY) of Elementary Education (EE) in a private school in Porto Alegre/RS implies the constitution of educational practices based on gamification, based on the proposal of a model of elements of digital games in gamified activities. The theoretical foundation consisted of the state of the knowledge, where the following authors highlighted: Tardif, Lévy, Huizinga, Santaella, Alves, Zabala and Arnau, and, Prensky. For the research methodology, we opted for a qualitative approach, using a case study. The data analysis was carry out using Textual Discourse Analysis, using the following data collection instruments: questionnaires, participant and non-participant observations, interviews and research journals. The research subjects were professors of EY in EE. The main results show that: (a) the initial formation rarely enables the professor to develop the competencies necessary for working with cyberculture; (b) the short-term continuing education courses do not provide the teacher with the necessary reflection and experiences; (c) the teachers that include gamification in their teaching practices do not always understand what they are doing; (d) the model proposed is promising, though the teachers that present the best results are those who have already had contact with Role-Playing Games and with gamification elements. The following issues remain to be discussed in future research: broadening the investigation to other environments and pursuing contributions of gaming to student learning.

The necessity of this reflection came up due to the lack and fragility of the formative and normative ways of the Ballroom Dance professional, mainly referred to specific and extensive training, and to the lack of supervision and structuration of this job field. The data of the present research were obtained through the use of the instruments “Letters and Semi structured Interviews”, where the investigated participant was Jaime Arôxa, a professor of Ballroom Dance, intentionally chosen because of his large acknowledgement, constitutive characteristics, and significant teaching practice in Ballroom Dance professor’s formation. The objective of the interview was to investigate which characteristics are emphasized and worked by this professional when choosing the methodological processes for his classes, and to which extent his life experiences, influenced his chooses and constitution of the professor that he actually is.The identification of the characteristics of the Being Professor was done through the letters written and directed to the interviewed by professionals formed directly by him, and that continue actuating with the Ballroom Dance. The interviews were structured in two themes: Histories of Life and Professor Action and Actuation. The Letters and Interviews were analyzed aiming to interlace the features reveled by the Letters with the professor knowledge’s: experiential, pedagogical, academicals, and spiritual, constructed and expressed in the Interviews, according to the theoretical referential of Tardif (2014) and Grillo (2006). The analysis of the variables of the investigation revealed that the constitutive characteristics of the Being professor of Ballroom Dance help the construction of his docent knowledge’s that, in turn, re-feed the permanent and systematic evaluation of what he is, resulting in a representative basis to the definition of the Being of a professor of Ballroom Dance.

It is believed that problems related to the learning of mathematics have their origin in the early years of elementary school, where students are expected to learn the basis of mathematical knowledge. However, evidence found in this study points out that the teacher who is in the classroom at this stage, in most cases, does not have the necessary training related to the concepts and mathematical contents necessary to teach mathematics in a contextualized and creative way. The insufficient training related to Mathematics in the undergraduate courses in Pedagogy causes to teachers who already work or will work in schools, in the early years, gaps that are not healed in their initial training. It is assumed that students of Pedagogy know such contents and that they have been acquired in their formation in elementary school, prior to their admission in the undergraduate course, a fact that does not seem to be confirmed. This idiosyncrasy ends up passing on responsibility for this training to the student of Pedagogy and not to the undergraduate course. This qualitative-exploratory research, supported by a case study involving invited teachers from public and private schools in the Porto Alegre and professors of Pedagogy undergraduate courses, aimed to investigate the formation of pedagogues, regarding the teaching of Mathematics in the early years of elementary school, trying to identify possible gaps and alternatives of continuing education, especially those who have access to the use of open digital spaces / resources. Some of the theoretical references used are: Tardif, Nóvoa, Lévy, Prensky, Lorenzato and Nacarato. As a result of this research, it is highlighted the approach given in the undergraduate courses in Pedagogy focused on the methodological aspects of mathematics teaching, not contemplating the specific training of the mathematical contents that will be taught by these teachers. The study also emphasized that open digital spaces / resources are not being discussed and / or used in teachers’ training in the early years of elementary school, so it is difficult to use these spaces and resources in both continuing education and teaching practice. Something significant that was found in the research was that there are mathematics laboratories in some private schools, which rely on materials and specialists to support mathematics teaching as well as teacher training. Another interesting data found in the research was the continuing education in service, especially in private schools, something that helps in the reconstruction and re-signification of teacher's relationship with Mathematics, allowing him/her to teach a different way of how he/she learned. It is expected that this study has provided elements for a reflection on the need to revise the curricula of Pedagogy courses in a broader perspective than just the inclusion of one or more subjects dealing with mathematical contents. Also, it is expected that this research points out alternatives for teachers or future teachers on how to look for complementary training using the open digital spaces / resources available online.

Educational action that is based on the development of authorship, of creation, autonomy and protagonism of young people aged 15 to 17 who did not complete Primary School. The investigative question consisted in know is, how happens the continuous formation of the teachers of the Creative Trajectory Project. It was a qualitative study based on the Participant Research, which used participant observation with information in the field diary, conversation wheels (in the B.S. School and in the UFRGS) in the collection of information, questionnaires, interviews and reading and document analysis. According to the production of the information and, in a special way, the transcription of the subjects' speeches, I made the intersection of these with the theories and the discussion proposal. The conclusive analysis of the dissertation was that the continuous training of the professionals of the Creative Trajectory Project is basically based on the daily classroom and pedagogic activities, which are directly linked to the context of the students. Teachers also use the space of pedagogical meetings to exchange experiences and promote shared learning among peers. They expand their knowledge through online courses and presential classes of fewer hours and participate in the courses offered by the College of Application (UFRGS) in the so-called immersions. Faced with this situation, it is possible to affirm that continuing teacher education lacks more specific and characteristic themes about the realities of youth, and that these teachers struggle against the precariousness of the world in in teaching struggling to keep up to date. Each of these professionals presented an untiring search for the knowledge necessary to teach, especially with the youth of the TC, becoming, themselves, autonomous authors of their knowledge, protagonists in the pedagogical action of each new day, creators of situations and proposals involving both for them as well as for the students Exactly what the Creative Trajectory Project intends to accomplish with the youth that participate in it.

This need rose along the walk of a researcher in the educacional Field, thus since she started her journey she always had inclusion´s students and this work always took into account the individulity of these subjects face to the consctruction of the knowledge. Entering the Master Course of Education, this student faced the same dificulty of other teachers in how to deal with inclusion´s students, this way rose the need of this study. The problem researched was the perception of the teachers in the schools RME of Porto Alegre before the process of school inclusion. This research was based on a qualitative approach, using a semi-structured interview as a data collection instrument; for the analysis of data was used for Analysis of Content. The paths of theoretical research discussed issues such as the Defectologia, the school inclusion, social development and cultural subjectivity. We also search in this research the subjective aspects which involve the teachers formation as well as the meaning of teaching for the interviewees. In this investigative way an interesting dialogue rose between school inclusion of students with disabilities and social inclusion. Along the journey we could notice teachers commited with educacional inclusion and interested in learning each time more for their students. In relation to the research findings, we can cite that mean teaching to the teachers interviewed is linked to the daily challenges they face and that permeates from lack of proper training to the shortage of human resources. However, they are happy with their work, given that sought training in inclusion that could support them to improve their educational services to students with disabilities.
