Souza.pdf: 2317263 bytes, checksum: 70514fb3536b8d4a248def9fe74a13e5 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2017-04-07 / This research was carried out with the purpose of presenting a field and descriptive study related to the process of liberation of gratuity in urban collective transportation in the City of Manaus to People with Disabilities and chronic pathologies, mediated by the Organic Law of the Municipality of Manaus – LOMAN and By Municipal Decree No. 1,128, of July 29, 2011, which regulates the criteria for the release of gratuity. It was observed that although the benefit of gratuitousness in collective transportation was implemented by the municipal public authorities in an attempt to guarantee an improvement in the quality of life of People with Disabilities (PCDs), there is still a layer of this population that does not has this benefit. It is possible to highlight the patients with lupus pathology, which although it is a chronic inflammatory disease of autoimmune origin, whose symptoms may impair mobility, is not covered by the Decree that regulates gratuity. Thus, this research has as main objective To present a study that points out the possibility of inclusion of the patients with lupus pathology in the group of beneficiaries of gratuitousness in the urban collective transportation system in Manaus. / Esta pesquisa foi realizada com intuito de apresentar um estudo de campo e descritivo relacionado ao processo de liberação da gratuidade nos transportes coletivos urbanos na Cidade de Manaus às Pessoas com Deficiências e Patologias crônicas, mediado pela Lei Orgânica do Município de Manaus– LOMAN, e pelo Decreto Municipal no 1.128, de 29 de julho de 2011, que regulamenta os critérios de liberação da gratuidade. Observou-se que embora o benefício da gratuidade nos transportes coletivos tenha sido implantado pelo poder público municipal na intenção de garantir melhoria na qualidade de vida das Pessoas com Deficiência – PCDs –, ainda existe uma camada dessa população que não usufrui de tal benefício, nessa, se pode destacar os portadores da patologia lúpus, que embora seja uma doença inflamatória crônica de origem autoimune, cujos sintomas podem comprometer a mobilidade, não está amparada no Decreto que regulamenta a gratuidade. Desta forma, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo principal Apresentar um estudo que aponte a possibilidade de inclusão dos portadores da patologia lúpus no grupo de beneficiários da gratuidade no sistema de transporte coletivo urbano em Manaus.
