Dislokace valenčních doplnění slovesa v současné francouzštině - syntaktická a diskurzní analýza / Dislocation of the Valency Complements of the Verb in the Present-day French - Syntactic and Discourse AnalysisKOPECKÁ, Eliška January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this work is to introduce dislocation as a specific syntacic process and to describe its function and use. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theorethical part, I introduce basic linguistic terms. Then, I confront the French concept of valence with the Czech concept of valence, and I delineate the term of dislocation. In the practical part, I analyse the results found in the parallel language corpus with regard to its thematic role. I also focus on Czech equivalents and translation.

Sufix -bile v současné italštině a jeho české ekvivalenty v paralelním korpusu / The suffix -bile in present-day Italian and its equivalents in a parallel corpusWeinertová, Veronika January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals with functional equivalents of Italian adjectives with the suffix -bile in present-day Italian based on the Czech-Italian parallel linguistic corpus InterCorp. In the opening theoretical part the main objective of the thesis is introduced - a comparison of the Czech suffix -telný with the Italian suffix -bile. In the next chapters the thesis focuses on corpus material characteristics - on frequency list - from qualitative and quantitative aspects and on Czech equivalents' typology. The last part concentrates on statistical evaluation of Czech translation solutions, on the individual percentage representation of Czech equivalents' variants and on general trends while translating these adjectives with the suffix -bile into Czech.

Finská a česká deminutiva v kontrastivním pohledu / Finnish and Czech diminutives in contrastive perspectiveStřížková, Dominika January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with diminutives, a special type of words that can express something smaller than usual (i.e. quantitative modification) or the speaker's attitude and feelings (often positive) towards an object or a person (i.e. qualitative modification). In flectional and agglutinant languages (such as Czech and Finnish), diminutives are mostly formed by adding a diminutive suffix to the stem of a base word. This work aims to examine whether Czech diminutives are also translated to Finnish with the use of a diminutive form. If they are not directly translatable, this work is to find out what equivalent does the translator use instead. In the theoretical part, I give a brief description of diminutive suffixes in Czech and Finnish. Most of these suffixes can have more functions than just forming diminutives. Another problem is the process of lexicalisation when a diminutive form acquires a new meaning and becomes a new lexical unit of the language. This means that a selection is needed to be made to exclude words that have a diminutive form but not a diminutive meaning. The practical part is based on an analysis of data from a corpus that contains fifteen Czech books and their translations to Finnish. I selected fifteen frequent diminutives and attempted to find out how they are translated...

Frázová slovesa v italštině a jejich české protějšky v paralelním korpusu InterCorp / Phrasal verbs in Italian and their Czech counterparts in the parallel corpus InterCorpGABRIŠKOVÁ, Denisa January 2018 (has links)
My diploma thesis deals with phrasal verbs in Italian (it. verbi sintagmatici), such as andare via, andare su, buttare via, mandare gi? etc. In the first part of the thesis I will describe the disposition of these complex verbs theoretically with help of secondary literature. After that I´ll explain their position in current Italian language, especially their frequency of use on the basis of dictionaries and corpuses. The second, practical part is the core of this thesis. The aim of this work is to search Czech opposites of the selected sample of the Italian phrasal verbs. I put emphasis on their possible meanings. The thesis includes the dictionary with meanings of phrasal verbs.

Problematika aspektu v italských pasivních konstrukcích na pozadí češtiny / Problems of Verbal Aspect in Italian Passive Constructions on the Background of CzechČechová, Petra January 2018 (has links)
The topic of this thesis is the verbal aspect in its complexity. The initial theoretical part aims to compare the differences in the notion of grammatical and lexical aspect in both Italian and Czech language and to highlight the differences in related terminology. The following practical part deals with Italian periphrastic passive and its auxiliaries venire and essere from aspectual point of view based on the Czech language. It is generally assumed that at least in the present tense, passive constructions containing the auxiliary venire should be translated into Czech with higher rate of imperfective verbs than passive constructions containing the auxiliary essere. This trend should disappear when used in the simple past or the imperfect. This claim is further analyzed with the help of the parallel corpus InterCorp, version 10.
