The subject of the diploma thesis is an analysis of election programs of four Czech political parties for EU parliamentary elections. The subject of the research is a comparison of targeting national and European issues in the election programs. The thesis assumes that the election programs target issues, which are characteristic for elections at the national level. The thesis applies one of the characteristics of the theory of second order elections to the EU parliamentary elections. Data gathering is based on content analysis.

The diploma work deals with the process of international migration and the refugee crisis in Europe. The theoretical part is focused on the visa, asylum and safety policy of the European Union. The particular chapters are elaborated in the analytical part with the help of statistical data. Under the proper research, the collecting of the primary data was made with the attendance of refugees of a migration wave at the Vienna West Train Station. The data were subsequently analysed and evaluated in the presented work.

Origins and development of the Parliament of England up to the end of 15th century Abstract This thesis is dedicated to the formation of the English parliament from the enactment of the Magna Carta to the onset of Tudor dynasty reign. It consists of an introduction, conclusion and 13 chapters; chapter 5 has also subchapters. The first chapter describes the origins of parliament's formation and its connection to the Witan and Great Council. The second chapter is dedicated to the period of John's reign, which lead to the rebellion of barons and following that, the enactment of the Magna Carta. Afterwards, it examines provisions of the Magna Carta and its significance for English society and the development of parliament at the time. It also refers to the growing importance of the Magna Carta over the course of following centuries. The third chapter is concerned with the period of Henry's reign when the key importance was the revolt of barons under the leadership of Simon de Montfort. Simon de Montfort in order to secure his position of power summoned a parliament which consisted of, among others, representatives of towns and boroughs as well as knights of shires. Constitutional development in England - from the outset to the 17th century The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the constitutional development in England from the fifth century to the beginning of the seventeenth century and it attempts to give a comprehensible and thorough summary of this period. The thesis is composed of ten chapters and its subchapters. The first chapter deals with the anglo-saxon period, which started in the fifth century with the arrival of german tribes to England and it is divided into three subchapters. The first subchapter analyzes not only the general historical development, but also some of the earliest laws of anglo- saxon kings. Second subchapter is concerned with the composition of the main authorities of anglo-saxon state, power of its rulers, officers of the king's court and with the role of the Christian Church, which was very important. The last subchapter focuses on the reign of Edward the Confessor and the enclosure of anglo-saxon period. Next chapter is concerned with the Norman period and it is composed of seven subchapters. Text of the thesis focuses on the activity of the Group of the European People's Party in the European Parliament. It focuses on this issue from three different perspectives. The first perspective presents a theoretical approach on the concept of europarty as transnational political actor that has developed on the basis of the development of the European integration and the development of the European institutions. The second perspective focuses on the work of the European People's Party, as a classic example transnational European party structure. It refers to its historical development and formation in the context of strengthening the position of the European Parliament. It also encompasses the Group of the European People's Party and its influence in the European Parliament in historical perspective. At the same time reveals the inner structure, program policies and operation mechanism of this parliamentary faction. The third perspective focuses on the analysis of the cohesion of the Group of the European People's Party in the seventh term of the European Parliament. The presented work is situated on the borderline between gender history and women's history. It aims to analyze the agenda of the Czechoslovak female deputies between 1918 and 1948. The work describe, analyze and looks for common features of political, social and gender motivation and program priorities in the parliamentary activities of the female deputies of the Czechoslovak Parliament. Work looks for connections between agenda of female deputies and the social and political situation of the state like geopolitical or economic crisis. This work focuses on the development of what is understanted under the term "female issues" and how big is the part of female issues in the overall agenda of female deputies during the period. The text is also interested in relations female deputies with their male colleagues. The author presents types of women's requirements, which female deputies considered to contribute to women as social group. The primary focus is on the anticipated evolution from female ambassadors to real parliament member with comprehensive political program.
