Intenzivní městský dům / Intenzive City House

Nevřivá, Jana January 2017 (has links)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the revitalization of the urban block in the street Křenová in the Trnitá district of Brno. The land is brownfield for the most part. The design of new space utilization includes a new building of an intensive urban area, so-called multifunctional house. Ponávka River is the compositional axis of a new development. The river indicates the character of the parterre. It is a place for relaxation and a walking promenade. The buildings have 1 - 4 aboveground and 1 underground floor. The compactness of the building differs from the second above-ground floor. Solitary objects are formed by a square or rectangular ground plan. The object is used for various purposes, such as services, administrative and residential areas or underground parking. The perimeter cladding of the building is made of brick cladding with respect to the surrounding area. The building is complemented by an external metal structure - stand-alone frames that can be used to hold green. The frames are repeated throughout the area and form a connecting element.

Les d'Espinose aux jardins : attentes, intégration et occupation d'un espace par les noblesses de province au Grand Siècle / D'Espinose and their gardens : space's expectation, integration, appropiation by provincial nobility during the Grand Siècle

Bourniche, Kevin 04 December 2018 (has links)
The garden enables one to approach dwelling places and landscapes as well as society of the Ancient Régime. During the Grand Siècle, three generations of the Espinose family and their relations, whether the latter are descended from the bourgeoisie or the nobility, have put their stamp on gardens in town or in the countryside in the eastern part of ancient Brittany. These enclosed areas have tried to meet at best the logical requirements of their environment. Whether in town or in the countryside, the garden of the estate met aesthetic, social, economic and technical requirements. And as the cornerstone of the landed property and its management, the garden also reflects an evolution in tastes, and therefore is liable to mutations. The marks of time and the status of the owners are apparent, with obvious signs of the prestige and/or the difficulties of the family. Thus the garden as a place where to take walks or grow flowers and plants is the expression of a knowledge as well as of a social status.

Historické dveře (Prakticko-teoretická práce) / Historical doors

KEMZOVÁ, Miroslava January 2010 (has links)
Subject of this diploma thesis are historical doors as an indivisible part of architecture. The main focus is on gradual discovering of their underrated artistic value and historical authenticity of these elements. The paper is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical part. The opening of the theoretical part introduces a debate on the ambivalent term ``door{\crqq} and its meaning in people{\crq}s life. I look closely at the terminology and particular basic structural types of historical door wings from the late medieval time to the end of the 19th century. All types are presented with several examples of extant doors in urban conservation area of the towns of České Budějovice and Třeboň between 1760-1900, using author drawing studies and photo documentation. In the practical part of the paper I deal with creative design of the parterre in the historical house no. 91 in the square of the town of Třeboň, which is directly linked to the prior theoretical findings. Drafts and an architectural study came out of the preliminary builder historical connections, elaborations and debates. At the same time I include an insight into parterre executions in the past years.

Polyfunkční dům / Polyfunctional building

Michna, Patrik January 2017 (has links)
The assignment of my diploma thesis was to design a polyfunctional building. Function of the building is based on the requirements of the Land Use Plan Brno, cadastral zone Židenice. The aim of the design was to improve the quality of public space in the area by creating parks, urban parterre with services, parking and by bringing missing features to the area. The building is located in the centre of the plot. The main facade is oriented to the main street. Design creates new parking on the ground and in the underground garage. On the first floor are rentable spaces for commerce and services. At 2nd and 3rd floor are open space offices with the possibility of spatial variability solutions. Architectural expression of the building is simple, consisting as a compact mass with parterre subsided, useful in terms of energetical sustainability. The facade of the building is made as a combination of a transparent double skin facade and opaque ventilated facade with fibre cement panels. Structural system is a precast concrete frame with a cast-in-place reinforced concrete shear core. Foundation is made as a reinforced concrete pads and strips. Ceiling is made of a precast prestressed hollow core slabs.

Komplexní urbanistická analýza ulice Obchodná v Bratislavě s teoretickou vizí rozvojového potenciálu / Comprehensive urbanistic analysis of Obchodná Street in Bratislava with a theoretical vision of the development potential

Tichý, Jan January 2019 (has links)
This thesis aims to create a complex urban analysis of the Obchodna street in the Bratislava city centre. It aims to identify the key problems and provide a conceptual solution for them as well. It focuses on general background analysis and planning documentation, as well as an analysis of the public space. A combination of distant and field research was used to gather the necessary data. All gathered data was subsequently processed and evaluated. Key problems and their solutions were defined on the basis of SWOT analysis. These solutions consist mostly of minor and easy changes, which can help to improve the public space in Obchodna and fulfil its potential.

Návrh udržitelné městské struktury - na bázi středověkého města - pro 21.století. / Design of a sustainable urban structure - based on a medieval city - for the 21st century.

Čech, Daniel January 2021 (has links)
The aim of the design was to create a functional urban structure in Náměšť nad Oslavou, which works on the principles of a modern city of the 21st century, but is also inspired by elements of a medieval city. So it is a marriage of the old with the new. On this basis, a compact functional structure was designed, which functions as a complement to the existing development and does not serve as a separate unit. In the new development, therefore, elements were designed to help improve the quality of life throughout the city. Emphasis was placed on the unique character of the development, a car-free center, plenty of green space and work with natural resources. The design has a lifespan of tens to hundreds of years. The proposed development can later be extended to the space, but also to the height.

Obytný soubor Brno-Řečkovice / Residential complex Brno - Reckovice

Macečková, Eliška January 2013 (has links)
The area is located in the north part of Brno (Řečkovice a Mokrá Hora) and is surrounded by a housing estate. To the south of this area is a complex of former barracks. In our project we propose to use the area as a residential district with public amenities. Sports ground and the park are included. Currently there are terraced houses and separated family houses. We especially use low-floor blocks of houses with no more than four floors. Orientation of the blocks corresponds with the fact that this area is on the north slope. Family houses with gardens are situated on the east side of the area. The area is accessible from the Žilkova street (on the east) and from the Terezy Novákové street (on the west) – buildings on this street make a noise barrier. The square of our area is next to this street and represents a public place with public amenities (for example a retirement house and a school of art), underground car park and a pedestrian precint leading to the park. A tram stop is nearby. Sports ground and the park are situated in the north part of the area. In the central part we find the kindergarten. Underground car parks for the residents are under the blocks and its courtyards.
