No. of bitstreams: 1 MAYRA VAZ CARNEIRO Dissertação NOVA.pdf: 9874341 bytes, checksum: 8622726a066c49d91a5212995e4e7613 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2015-03-25 / This research analyzes the Inventory of the feast of Our Lady of Conception, at Morro da Conceição, Rio de Janeiro, done by myself for the Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional of Rio de Janeiro (IPHAN-RJ) between July 2009 and March 2010. Using a methodology that involves documental and ethnographic research, I establish a comparison between what is officially determinated for the development of an inventory of cultural references and what is done by the technicians and researchers to the community’s demands. This work covers not only the investigation of the process of researching the inventory, but also the objective of the referred institute and the counterparts for the involved community. Still, it allows to comprehend the tactics used by the community to reach its goals with IPHAN-RJ and its researchers and, in counterpart, the strategies developed by the institution and its representatives to achieve political goals. / Esta pesquisa tem como objeto a análise do inventário da festa de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, do Morro da Conceição, Rio de Janeiro, realizado por mim para a Superintendência do Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional no Rio de Janeiro (IPHAN-RJ) entre julho de 2009 e março de 2010. Através de uma metodologia que envolve pesquisa documental e etnografia, estabeleço uma comparação entre o que é determinado oficialmente para a realização de um inventário de referências culturais e o que, na prática, é feito pelos técnicos e pesquisadores em relação à pesquisa e às demandas das comunidades. O trabalho engloba não apenas a investigação do processo de pesquisa do inventário, mas também os objetivos do referido instituto e as contrapartidas para a comunidade envolvida. Ainda, permite compreender as táticas utilizadas pela comunidade para alcançar seus objetivos frente ao IPHAN-RJ e aos pesquisadores e, em contrapartida, as estratégias desenvolvidas pela instituição e seus representantes para que seus intuitos políticos fossem alcançados.
