En el presente trabajo de investigación se desarrolla un análisis de cómo la diplomacia de vacunas, durante la pandemia del coronavirus, afectó la política exterior peruana. Este análisis tiene como base teórica al realismo neoclásico de las Relaciones Internacionales (RR.II.). Se busca, entonces, determinar si “Torre Tagle” (la Cancillería peruana) supo maniobrar entre las distintas influencias tanto externas como domésticas. La importancia de esta investigación descansa en que existen muy pocos trabajos que traten de la diplomacia de vacunas en el contexto de la reciente pandemia, desde la perspectiva de un país receptor y sus potenciales efectos en su política exterior. El objetivo de esta investigación es establecer si el fenómeno de la diplomacia de vacunas afectó o cambió la política exterior del Perú, y en qué grado. La conclusión de este trabajo indica que la política exterior peruana se impuso frente a las influencias o presiones de factores internacionales y domésticos. / This study analyzes how vaccine diplomacy, during the Covid-19 pandemic, influenced Peruvian foreign policy. Following the Neoclassical theory of International Relations (IR), this study explores how the Peruvian Foreign Ministry maneuvered around international and domestic influences. The relevance of this study resides in the fact that there are few works on the subject of vaccine diplomacy in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially through the perspective of the recipient country. The aim of this study is to establish whether the vaccine diplomacy phenomenon affected or changed Peru´s foreign policy, and to what degree. The result of this investigation shows that Peruvian foreign policy prevailed against the influences and pressures of international and domestic actors.
