Com isto, como pensar as relações de solidariedade entre vizinhos na contemporaneidade? O presente estudo tem por objetivo entender como operam as relações de vizinhança e ajuda mútua no bairro de Marechal Rondon, em um contexto marcado por intensas intervenções estruturais e urbanísticas. Busca-se, ainda, entender quais são as consequências e como se reorganizam essas relações a partir do processo de requalificação urbana do bairro. O estudo justifica-se porque esta localidade ainda expressa traços fortes de solidariedade, apesar das alterações profundas nos modos de viver. Nas requalificações, os moradores enfrentam o desgaste proporcionado pelos conflitos de interesses, tanto entre a comunidade e o poder público como no grupo envolvido, o que pode ter consequências nas relações de vizinhança estabelecidas nesse contexto. Para a realização do estudo, fez-se necessária uma revisão teórica sobre a temática em questão, bem como foram utilizadas a metodologia qualitativa e entrevistas, com roteiro semiestruturado, para a observação dos acontecimentos da vida no bairro de Marechal Rondon. / Nowadays, with the growing restructuring processes in many regions of the city, some issues arise about the ways those restructuring processes take place in the neighborhoods, bringing an infinity of transformations, economic, cultural and social that, conjuncturally, affect the groups involved. Thus, how to understand the relationship of solidarity between neighbors in contemporaneity? The objective of this study is to understand the relationship between neighborhood and the mutual help in the district of Marechal Rondon, in a context marked by intense structural and urban interventions. It also seeks to understand what were the consequences and how these relationships were reorganized from the process of urban renewal of the neighborhood. The importance of this study is justified because this district still expresses strong traits of solidarity, despite the profound changes in the ways of living. In the urban renewal the neighborhood residents face the erosion caused by conflicts of interest, both between the community and the government, as well as in the group involved in the territory, which can have consequences in the neighborhood relations established in this context. For the accomplishment of the study we did a theoretical revision on the subject in question, as well as the interviews utilizing qualitative methodology and with semi-structured script, for the observation of the events of life in the district of Marechal Rondon.
