_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This study presents the territorial public policies which are present in the federal and Goias’ State Plurianuals Plans of the 2004/2007 period. A territorial clipping in Southeastern Goias State was carried through, in order to better focus and conduct this research. Taking as reference the dimensions of sustainability, such as, social, environmental, economic, political and institutional dimensions, an analysis and evaluation on the sustainability of the territorial public policies, acting in a group of municipal districts which make part of territorial clipping in the Southeastern Goias State, were carried out. These territorial public policies are related to programs and actions of the state Plurianual Plan 2004/2007. The rate of sustainability in 13 state programs were evaluated, by means of a set of criteria and defined parameters. The results of the evaluation indicate low sustainability rate in the political and institutional dimension, average sustainability rate in the social and environmental dimensions and good sustainability rate in the economic dimension. Moreover, four instrumental landmarks of the federal Plurianual Plan of the 2004/2007 period were analyzed, which, if applied in southeastern Goias territorial clipping, can assist future planners towards a sustainable balance of the state programs currently practiced.
