Starting from an etymological and lexical itinerary of the term, its meanings were featured both in Plato's and in commentators of Plato's work. Throughout the study of the dialogue, we noticed that δόξα is a key term for the whole development of the concept of knowledge. In chosen excerpts from the dialogue, there is the defense of Protagoras that exposes a specifically political way of interpreting δόξα. At the end of this study, we identify an image of the philosopher in the dialogue that leads our investigation to understand how the Platonic philosophy deals with political issues / A presente dissertação tem como objetivo abordar o termo δόξα em seu aspecto político no Teeteto. Partindo de um percurso etimológico e léxico sobre o termo, seus diferentes sentidos foram apresentados, tanto em Platão como em outros autores. Ao longo do estudo do diálogo, percebeu-se que δόξα é um termo chave para todo o desdobramento da discussão sobre a questão do conhecimento. Em trechos escolhidos do diálogo, destacamos a defesa de Protágoras que expõe um modo propriamente político de interpretar a δόξα. Para finalizar, identificamos uma imagem do filósofo no diálogo que leva nossa investigação a compreender como a filosofia platônica lida com as questões políticas
