Grandes players como China, Argentina e Brasil fazem parte deste cenário e enfrentam os impactos decorrentes deste fato. Identificar as variáveis intervenientes na formação do preço internacional do alho é imprescindível, tendo em vista que terra, adubo, semente, entre outros elementos não são suficientes para avaliar as alterações apresentadas pelo valor do alho. Assim, objetiva-se analisar esta conjuntura sob a luz dos Regimes Internacionais. Para isso, foram realizados dois estudos para identificar as variáveis intervenientes que influenciam o processo, com a aplicação de um questionário qualitativo na primeira etapa. Já a segunda, teve como diretriz um estudo quantitativo aplicado a um grupo de 25 pessoas. As principais variáveis eleitas foram: legislação, fiscalização, Organização Mundial do Comércio - OMC, tecnologia da produção e força de trabalho. O software Alceste (Analyse de Lexémes Coocurrent dans lês Ennoncés Simple d’un Texte - Análise Lexical Contextual de um Conjunto de Segmentos de Texto) foi usado para compreensão dos resultados preliminares do estudo I, enquanto o modelo Bardin foi aplicado ao segundo caso. A conclusão é focada nos dois estudos descritos anteriormente, com base na análise destes modelos. Por fim, foram feitas recomendações e agenda de pesquisa. _________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The international prices of garlic have strong oscillations for many years and productive chain of garlic should deal with this conjecture in a globalized and integrated world. Important players like China, Argentina and Brazil integrate this scene and they face the impact from this fact. It is indispensable to identify intervening variables in the composition of international price of garlic, having in view of the fact that land, fertilizer, seed and other elements are not sufficient to evaluate the modifications showed by value of garlic. Thus, it has the purpose to analyze this conjecture with base on International Relations. For that, two researches were done to identify intervening variables which influence the process. It was applied a qualitative research in the first moment. In the second step, it was applied a quantitative research to a group of 25 people. The main variables are: legislation, fiscalization, World Trade Organization – WTO, technology of production and label force and hand labor. The software Alceste (Analyse de Lexémes Coocurrent dans lês Ennoncés Simple d’un Texte) is used to comprehension of preliminary results of research I, meanwhile Bardin model is applied on the second research. The conclusion is focused in both of two researches with base on analyzes of these models. In the end, there were showed recommendations and schedule of researches.
