Cette thèse tentera de montrer comment le concept de citoyenneté, élaboré pendant l’époque moderne, n’est pas révélateur de la nature politique de l’être parce qu’elle ne correspond pas aux tendances actuelles illustrant le retour del’animal politique présent dans les manifestations collectives diverses, notamment à travers les réseaux sociaux. La nature politique brésilienne sera observée à travers les expériences vécues au quotidien partagées au sein des réseauxsociaux mais également à travers des mouvements artistiques; musique, photographie, etc. L’animal politique brésilienest celui en quête de sens symbolisant le politique actuel. Bien qu’il vive au sein d’une démocratie il est encore considéré comme étant un comportement déviant qui se distinguerait de la citoyenneté. Cela nous invite à étudier la démocratie brésilienne comme étant un gouvernement ayant des politiques totalitaires. De ce fait nous partons d’un constat où le citoyen brésilien est soumis à une culture de l’action politique issue des théories politiques modernes. Cesdernières auraient contribué au développement d’un modèle de comportement politique domestiquant. Nous avons observé l’expression citoyenne au sein des communautés virtuelles du réseau social Orkut mais également sur le réseau social Facebook. Pour élaborer l’étude sur l’animalité politique des Brésiliens, nous avons établi un schéma de réflexion qui se porte sur des axes théoriques : sociologiques, anthropologiques, paléoanthropologiques, archéologiques et philosophiques qui ont déjà traité le sujet.
