Srovnání trhů taxislužby ve vybraných metropolích. / Comparison of taxi services in selected metropolises

Páchová, Markéta January 2012 (has links)
This thesis is focused on different government approaches to taxi market. It discusses necessity of regulations in this branch. The core part of this thesis is empirical analysis of taxi markets in London, Dublin, Paris, Stockholm, New York and Prague. To study the subject more complex I also examined PHV (private hire vehicle) market which provides almost the same kind of services but it is not regulated. These markets are compared in term of supply -- number of cars per capita and price, and also in term of demand -- utilization of cars and customers content. According to this comparison I tried to find out if any of these approches can be considered as optimal, and wheather if regulated or deregulated markets bring better results. This thesis also discusses the best way how to deregulate entry into the taxi market. This will be illustrated by case study of entry deregulation in Dublin. I also provide some recommendation for taxi market in Prague.

Méthode phénoménologique dans la philosophie du langage du cercle linguistique de Prague

Barkova, Iryna January 2008 (has links) (PDF)

Faust on Film: A Hegelian Modern Art

Murphy, Sarah Kathryn 16 December 2015 (has links)
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between German Expressionist film and Hegel’s system of aesthetics. Through an analysis of the aesthetic qualities of Hanns Ewers’ The Student of Prague (1913) and F.W. Murnau’s Faust, I believe we have evidence to believe that the subjectivity that German Expressionist film sought to capture is aligned with the ‘interiority’ that Hegel believes Romantic art expresses. Further, I will consider whether these two films indicate that film as an artistic medium falls within Hegel’s characterization of Modern art. I believe that because both Student of Prague and Faust use elements of Romantic art in an effort to convey the melancholy spirit, and that the melancholy spirit is reflection and product of a uniquely modern Germany, these films indicate that film as a medium fulfill the requirements Hegel sets for Modern art.

PLATILOVÁ, Kateřina January 2016 (has links)
This thesis deals with french translations of Prague toponyms. The first part contains a brief description of onomastics and toponomastics. Next, the term place names (toponyms) is defined. Afterwards this part is dedicated to the classification and the translation of toponyms. The next part of thesis is focused on the analysis of particular translations of prague place names. Firstly, they are divided into seven groups and then the terms are analysed from two different perspectives : translatological analysis and culturally - historical analysis. The aim of first analysis is to determine the translated terms from view of the six translation procedures. The second part observes the culturally - historical context of names which is also important in translation. The bilingual dictionary of analysed terms is attached at the end of the thesis.
