Outsourcing is becoming one of the key approaches in improving cooperation¡¦s operation efficiency. With the continuous improvement on productivity, competitiveness, innovation and higher quality, information-transparency becomes the focus of operation and so is the process information system. For the case studied in this paper, the demand on the process information system is largely increased due to the pursuit of higher competitiveness by adopting more automated processes and decreasing manpower. Moreover, the downsizing manpower has also made the outsourcing of process information system being gradually increased. In this case study company, there are 109 process information systems have been operated smoothly since the establishment of the company and over 90% of them are outsourced. Although Standish Group investigated the 8000 outsourcing software projects in 1995, the results revealed that only 16% of them were well controlled in budget and schedule. However, the outsourcing task is still regarded as the strategic tactics for technology transfer or sharing work loads in the case study company. With this strategy, most of the operation can be monitored under project management and the schedule, quality , cost and man-power had all met the requirement of process information system, furthermore, the core technology transfer were achieved smoothly and explored it in depth. Therefore more process improvement could be realized based on the process condition by the case studied company, not the outsourcing company. A thorough investigation on the execution and the process of the process information system outsourcing with participation design should give more understanding of the achievement. This study employs the theory of outsourcing with participating development to establish the research model. Then, the research model has been revised according to the result of the long-term successful experiences and several project managers deeply interview. In this paper, three outsourcing strategy of process information systems were studied: 1) The new process information system technology transfer for new process¡F 2) The new process information system technology transfer for existing process¡F 3) Out-souring the process information system is for sharing work loads. The key factors of those successful cases were investigated and six participation factors were categorized as follows¡G1) engineering specification and contract; 2) formation of the project team; 3) design of training courses; 4) system function analysis; 5) system analysis &design and 6) project management and control. The details of this study is well documented in the following contents, it can be referenced by another company to improve in their outsourcing process information system more successful. This master’s thesis is focused on the analysis of work organization processes and their connection to information systems in a software agency. The theoretical part presents basic approaches to process analysis and the definition of business information systems. The next part analyzes current status in the company with a focus on the use of ICT, selection of a new information system and suggestions to its implementation.

This thesis deals with creation of information system for freshly opened bar. It contains business analysis, process analysis and final design of IS. Business processes are described in further detail including responsibilities. Development is recorded since identification of a business activity, its classification till its placement in final system. Design part consists of division of system into modules, description of database schema for each module and design of purposed transactions. There is focus on covering most frequent and useful activities. Information system is not considered as a standalone application, but as a vital part of the company which is still growing.

The Master´s thesis concentrates on the internal processes in a company. There are analysed the basic internal processes of all management levels. The Master´s thesis is devided in two basic parts – analysis and improvement proposals. In the proposals I concetrated on improvements making the effectivity of processes higher. Mostly it was making the duration shorter, increase of quality and simplified organisation.

This thesis focuses on the design of enterprise information strategy, which has been in operation for several years. The first part consists of theoretical knowledge, which builds on the analytical part of the master's thesis. Individual analyzes are dealing surrounding the company, its internal state and the current state of information strategy. From these analyzes, based on the design part of the thesis, which supports the development of an information strategy. This solution supports the core business processes. Improving support these processes will increase the company's competitiveness.

The goal of submitted thesis is to select and perform an implementation of an information system. This thesis contains an assessment of current state of the company, an assessment of alternative information systems, the selection of the particular system, implementation plan and also economic evaluation of selected option.

The diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the information system in the joint-stock company UNIKOM a.s. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter presents the theoretical background necessary to understand the concepts related to this topic in the field of information technology and information systems. This section also presents the analytical tools that were used to elaboration of analysis in the following section. The second chapter of this diploma thesis is focused on the company UNIKOM a.s. and analysis of its internal and external factors and assessment of the information system using selected methods. The output of the second chapter is information about problematic parts of the company and the IS. In the third part, the information obtained in the analysis section is used to create suggestions for improvement of the situation in the company.

The diploma thesis focuses on design of the information system for the department of medical transport service, which is part of the hospital. This thesis describes the theoretical knowledge necessary for analysis and custom design, is also concerned with the analysis of the current state of processes and information system. Last but not least, based on the analysis and the requirements lays down suggestions for improvement of the information system and design of optimal information system, that effectively supports the processes and enables its users to work more efficiently.

Goal of my work is to introduce software development process metods specialized to Rational Unified Process metod from IBM. I aplicate inception and elaboration phases of RUP on practical example.
