The theme of this thesis is a process analysis of the Prague Congress Centre. The purpose of diploma work is to propose more effective running of processes in the company. The theoretical part focuses on business processes, process analysis and graphical languages. Another part deals with company's reservation system and analyzes typical characteristics of reservation systems. The main focus of the thesis is on process analysis of Prague Congress Centre, Inc. Current situation is analyzed and more effective operations which run through the whole company are proposed and evaluated. The emphasis is put on differences evaluation between present and proposed situation and suggestion for change. Another part deals with gaps detection in reservation system which is closely connected with chosen analyzed processes. These gaps, up to certain stage, do not allow effective running of chosen processes.

This work covers process continuity as the source of a business continuity management. In first theoretic part this work connects continuous behavior of systems with the business continuity and the process continuity. Then in second part of the work we look into present knowledge in business continuity management systems and we cover key standards for business continuity management. We also look into connections among those standards for business continuity and we pinpoint chapters of British standard BS 25999-1 with its counterparts in IT service frameworks such as ITIL v3 and COBIT 4.1. In the final part, this work covers use of process analysis and process models as tools for delivering business continuity through process continuity and preparing business continuity plans in utilities.

The thesis deals with using informatics in sports. Especially it's aiming to a small football club, where will be modern trends of IT applied to. There are introduced basic terms related to the theme including differences between a sport club and a classic business company in the theoretical part. One of the goals was also to analyze a usage of informatics in top division football clubs and a usage of tools ITIL and Cobit. The main goal of practical part is to do a process analysis of the football club and a draft of an information strategy. There are used methods like SWOT analysis and Balanced scorecard.

The nonprofit sector in Czech Republic grows slowly and in many key aspects significantly lags behind western countries. In fact, to find a feasible way to growth is actually far from being easy. Nonprofits, frequently encountering problems with self-presentation and communication with supporters, fail to establish transparency and credibility among public, which is connected to considerably low sum of financial donations supporting nonprofit causes and low public interest in volunteering as well. An aim of this thesis is to proceed with an analysis of a problem domain and to design a solution which lies in founding a platform organization, which would be able to offer IT supported services allowing the nonprofits to overcome aforementioned difficulties.

Work theoretically and practically deals with process management - the process analysis and optimization of business processes in the company. The theoretical part describes the process control and its features and benefits, describes the term of process and the types of processes. The theoretical part also describes the theoretical basis of process analysis. At the end of the theoretical part is the explanation of the concept of business process optimization. In the practical part at first author presents company, which then performs a SWOT analysis of the company. Furthermore, in the practical part is a process analysis of selected business processes in EPC notation. After the analysis, followed by optimization - improve the business processes. The last point of this work is the evaluation of work and conclusion.

This diploma thesis deals with packaging materials in company Frauenthal Automotive Hustopeče, s. r. o., specifically proposals to improve the storage, flow and use of packaging material with limited storage capacity. The first part contains the theoretical basis of the work. The second part includes a presentation of the company and an analysis of the current situation. In the last part, own solutions to current shortcomings in the company are proposed.

Master's thesis deals with the assessment of the BENU pharmacy information system and proposes the necessary changes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness that will help the companyin their internal processes. The introductory part is focused on the theoretical basis of the work, where the basic concepts are explained. The second part is devoted to the company and the analysis of the information system, its features, characteristics and requirements. The last part, which is based on the analysis of the current state, containts suggestions for improvement, benefits and economic evaluation.

This thesis is focused on lean management of the production system in the company ASSA ABLOY Czech & Slovakia s. r. o. The main outcome is the proposal of a new layout and process balancing with the use of lean manufacturing methods. The first part describes the theoretical basics which are used for analysis afterwards. The results of these analyses are then used as a main basis for the proposal of changes in the chosen part of the production process.

The thesis is focused on the identification of service and administrative processes and sub processes inside the chosen company and proposal of their possible separation and outsourcing using the Business Process Management methods. Potential changes should be aimed to release capacity of the monitored team of the company and optimize their processes and related capacity during busy season and also from the long term perspective. The company set the conditions for potential changes by keeping current standards about quality of products and services and keeping current rules for client communication. Additionally company expects decreasing of personal costs related to inquired services.

The thesis is focused on the study during the engagement in the company ČKD Blansko Holding, Inc. The company creates water turbines and hydro facilities of hydroelectric power stations. The thesis is divided to two parts. The first part is concerned with the theoretical knowledge. The second part focuses on the analysis of the current status during the commission and on proposals for changes to streamline the entire process.
