This paper deals with the definition of Corporate Communication and the specifics of telephonic communication with the customer, and further definition of the Process and Process Management focused on process analysis ,which is part of the practical part. Extensive section is devoted to practical study. The benefit of this paper is a comprehensive view at the business model of BEZREKLAMKY s.r.o. The paper deals with analyzing the present state of business model, under which are determined possibilities to increase the efficiency of the process. The last part is devoted to assess the advisability of establishing cooperation at a distance by phone. This process is designed with all the formalities so that it can be directly imlplemented into the current model.

Procesní analýza dotačního programu / Process analysis of a subsidy program

This Master's thesis is concerned with the process analysis of a subsidy program of a governmental institution. The main objective of this dissertation is to describe and analyze the process of a program cycle as a whole as well as its individual sub-processes. The study also elaborates on the information system (IS) utilized, in the context of subsidy management, by relevant governmental institutions. Finally, hierarchies of these IS will be illustrated and future prospects for their integration will be pondered. The dissertation's main contribution to knowledge is the final assessment of the whole process along with a proposal for its enhancement. The study is divided into a theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part, while procedural issue is analyzed in the first part, the subsequent section focuses on the phenomenon of subsidies itself, their common attributes and in what ways do the subsidies discussed in this study differ from other subsidies. The subsidy program is described, in line with the approved documentation, and the official objectives defined. The subsidy program under consideration is administered by the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic and, therefore, the dissertation includes a schematic diagram depicting the organizational structure of this governmental institution as well as the relevant Department of Budget in order to provide a better understanding of the complex processes involved. The empirical part then analyzes a particular subsidy program and its sub-programs. Finally, the dissertation assesses the whole process and proposes possible ways for its enhancement.

This work is focused on business process modeling and subsequent use in, how it works selling electronic magazines online. In the theoretical section describes possible options for modeling languages, then selected BPM notation and described in detail. The second section describes the technologies used to support sales of electronic magazines. In this work an example is Skimagazin magazine. In the final phase of work are given individual detailed models of how the sale works in practice. The models are mainly focused on describing how to communicate with each individual system elements and users or administrators. Due to the large degree of detail models are listed here only the main models for the functioning of online sales. At the end structure of data objects is described.

A Logic-Based Methodology for Business Process Analysis and Design: Linking Business Policies to Workflow Models

Today, organizations often need to modify their business processes to cope with changes in the environment, such as mergers/acquisitions, new government regulations, and new customer demand. Most organizations also have a set of business policies defining the way they conduct their business. Although there has been extensive research on process analysis and design, how to systematically extract workflow models from business policies has not been studied, resulting in a missing link between the specification of business policies and the modeling of business processes.Given that process changes are often determined by executives and managers at the policy level, the aforementioned missing link often leads to inefficient and inaccurate implementation of process changes by business analysts and process designers. We refer to this problem as the policy mismatch problem in business process management. For organizations with large-scale business processes and a large number of business policies, solving the policy mismatch problem is very difficult and challenging.In this dissertation, we attempt to provide a formal link between business policies and workflow models by proposing a logic-based methodology for process analysis and design. In particular, we first propose a Policy-driven Process Design (PPD) methodology to formalize the procedure of extracting workflow models from business policies. In PPD, narrative process policies are parsed into precise information on various workflow components, and a set of process design rules and algorithms are applied to generate workflow models from that information.We also develop a logic-based process modeling language named Unified Predicate Language (UPL). UPL is able to represent all workflow components in a single logic format and provides analytical capability via logic inference and query. We demonstrate UPL's expressive power and analytical ability by applying it to process design and process change analysis. In particular, we use UPL to define and classify process change anomalies and develop algorithms to verify and enforce process consistency.The Policy-driven Process Design, Unified Predicate Language, and process change analysis approach found in this dissertation contribute to business process management research by providing a formal methodology for resolving the policy mismatch problem.

Incomplete Delivery : Description of Causes and Effects

Quality defects are a common problem for producing companies, but causes and consequences are often unknown. The purpose of this thesis assignment is to develop a step-by-step analysis method for identifying the root causes of quality defects based on previously examined consequences. The first steps focus on customer recovery meanwhile the following steps concentrate on process recovery. The analysis method is process-orientated as the complete production and delivery process are scrutinized upstream by the combination of commonly used quality tools.   For testing the applicability of the presented method this thesis comprises a case study conducted at one company receiving complaints about quality defects. For the Case Study Company the consequences and causes of quality defects are described, analyzed and suggestions for improvement are developed.   In the investigated case, the developed method helps to identify causes and consequences of incomplete delivery, the company’s major quality problem. The upstream approach proved advantages for two reasons. First of all including the customer side guarantees that the cause analysis is limited to the relevant problems. With the help of the method the severity of consequences depending on the customers’ awareness of defects and available time can be detected. Secondly problems can be scrutinized in natural order as difficulties in production once identified can be followed step by step to the causes in a preceding step. The main causes identified in this case study are a lack of process definition and of standardization. Thus, the portrayed case suggests that regular appearances of quality defects are not a coincidence. The reasons are the underlying, possibly insufficiently defined and managed processes.   The general finding of the thesis assignment is the presented analysis method that comprises a systematic process-oriented approach designed to examine consequences and causes of quality defects. In contrast to the root cause analysis approaches found in literature each analysis step is described in detail. This makes the method easy to apply in practice. Therefore the method is a valid tool to deal with a high degree of complexity. The case study proved that it is effective and efficient to scrutinize problems with these characteristics. Under different circumstances the application of single quality tools might be sufficient and hence resource effective. Further investigation is necessary since this method has only been tested in one case study.

Atliekama finansinė, vidaus procesų ir lyginamoji veiklos analizė bei pateikiamos analizės išvados apie esamą veiklos efektyvumą įmonėje ir esamas veiklos problemas. Projektinėje darbo dalyje pateikiami problemų, atrastų atlikus IĮ „SIRMA“ analizę, sprendimo būdai ir priemonės, parengiamas priemonių įgyvendinimo planas. This thesis deals with the topic of process management and its importance within the modern management conception. The literature search introduce the progress of the process management and its principles, the approaches to improve the management processes, it presents the chosen tools of the process modelling, sorts of changes in the transition from the functional to process management, and introduces more closely the Business Process Reengineering and Total Quality Management. The practical part attends to the analysis of the present state of the choosen company, presents the company basic characteristics, organization structure, working positions, staff evaluation system, it identifies and describes the core, secondary and supportive managerial processes in progress within the company. Deals with the proposals how to implement the process management elements within the measurement and evaluation of processes, staff motivation and internal communication. The main benefits of this thesis include the elaboration of the process map of the organization, diagrams of the majority of processes together with their detailed descriptions, denomination of the staff responsible for the particular processes, determination of the key performance indicators suitable for the measuring of the processes effectiveness in time. We have elaborated the questionnaire on the periodic measurement of the customer satisfaction. We have also designed a new module of staff remuneration and suggested the implementation of the knowledge database and other precautions having an influence on the process management, internal communication and, in particular, on the customer satisfaction.

This thesis is focused on topic of mapping and optimization of processes with particular focus on logistic processes. The work consists of three interconnected parts. The first part contains definitions of important concepts and approaches in three separate areas. The areas are organization processes, logistic processes and Lean management. The second part revolves around suitable methodology, it contains used methods and tools suitable for mapping and analysis of various process as well as principles and tools recommended for optimization of logistic processes. The last part of thesis maps key processes of internal logistics inside of manufacturing factory and analyses logistic system used in organization. The thesis also proposes various recommendations how to make analysed processes better. Analysis and optimization of processes is in the end enriched by recommendations, which should lead to better organization logistics system in the future.

The theoretical part explains the difference between procedural and operational procedures, describes the basic methods of process modeling, process modeling standards and selection of appropriate methods for the practical part, with regard to the character of the company KSB Ltd. In the practical part is compiled process analysis of the company and design changes of processes by modifying the methods of the modeling and optimization.
