No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 2013-11-22 / This research aims to understand the ways in which psychotherapists and clients live the experience of group psychotherapy under the humanistic - phenomenological view. To achieve the proposed objectives, we conducted a qualitative study of phenomenological nature, from the facilitation of a psychotherapy group with the participation of 10 women and 2 psychotherapists, from June to August of 2013, at the University of Fortaleza, in Ceará. As research tools, we used the Versions of Meaning written by psychotherapists and clients and a resource of Ethnography (participant observation), through field diaries written by the psychotherapists. The phenomenological analysis of the versions of meaning was made using the critical phenomenological method, and consented us the access to three main categories: feelings emerged from the intersubjective relationship with oneself, with the group, psychotherapists and society; the meanings of the psychotherapy group; and the attitudes and resources facilitators. The appreciation of the field diaries allowed us to access fundamental dimensions in the planning and formation of a psychotherapy group, to observe care in preparing the therapeutic setting and the psychotherapists for the moment in the group, as facilitators, so that the psychotherapy group could happen with all its intensity. The results pointed to the visualization of the group movement on the path to strengthening ties between the participants, the psychotherapists and the group as a whole. It also stressed the dilemmas and care of simultaneous group psychotherapy and research and presented the mundanity of the phenomenon. We concluded that when people are together with the purpose of growth, within a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment, their stories naturally tangle, allowing a wisdom emerging from the group that pushes it for more creative ways to go on in life. Understanding the experience of people in psychotherapy group, based in the use of a critical phenomenological lens and of an ethnographic feature, allowed us to comprehend the approach of the phenomena with its multiple contours, in the varied possibilities that a group of people in the process of psychotherapy can reveal. Everything happens in the intersubjective relationship psychotherapists-clients-world. Keywords: Psychotherapy Group; Humanistic Phenomenological Psychotherapy; Lived Experience; Phenomenological Research. / Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender os modos como psicoterapeutas e clientes vivenciam a experiência de psicoterapia de grupo sob a lente humanista-fenomenológica. Para atingir o objetivo proposto, realizamos uma pesquisa qualitativa de cunho fenomenológico, a partir da facilitação de um grupo de psicoterapia com a participação de 10 mulheres e 2 psicoterapeutas, no período de Junho a Agosto de 2013, na Universidade de Fortaleza, no Ceará. Utilizamos como instrumentos de pesquisa as Versões de Sentido escritas por psicoterapeutas e clientes e um recurso etnográfico (observação participante), mediante o registro em diário de campo pelas psicoterapeutas. A análise fenomenológica das Versões de Sentido, empregando o método fenomenológico crítico, consentiu-nos o acesso a três categorias centrais: sentimentos emergentes na relação intersubjetiva consigo mesmo, com o grupo, psicoterapeutas e sociedade; os sentidos do grupo de psicoterapia; e as atitudes e recursos facilitadores. A apreciação dos diários de campo permitiu-nos acessar dimensões fundamentais no planejamento e na formação de um grupo de psicoterapia, observar cuidados na preparação do setting terapêutico e das psicoterapeutas para o momento do atendimento grupal, como facilitadores para que o grupo de psicoterapia pudesse acontecer com toda a sua intensidade. Resultou na visualização do movimento grupal no caminho para o fortalecimento dos vínculos entre os participantes, psicoterapeutas e do grupo como um todo. Salientou ainda os dilemas e cuidados na realização simultânea de um grupo de psicoterapia e pesquisa e apresentou a mundaneidade do fenômeno. Concluímos que quando pessoas estão juntas na busca de crescimento, num espaço de acolhimento e sem julgamento, as suas histórias naturalmente se entrelaçam, emergindo uma sabedoria própria do grupo, que o impulsiona para caminhos mais criativos dar seguimento à vida. Compreender uma experiência de pessoas em psicoterapia de grupo embasada na utilização de uma lente fenomenológica crítica e de um recurso etnográfico, proporcionou-nos a aproximação aos fenômenos com seus múltiplos contornos, nas variadas possibilidades que um grupo de pessoas em processo de psicoterapia pode revelar.
