Nos próximos capítulos serão descritos todas as etapas do processo de implementação desde o levatamento dos dados no cliente, aplicação do QFD, definição do posto e como controlar os parâmetros desta etapa do processo / Abstract: At the current time when the automakers and auto parts companies seek to develop products with lower cost and with high quality, zero defect, It is proposed, in this context, to hear and define the important requirements of customer to analyze and to apply the methodology studied. In this methodology the request is analyzed in wombs: Customer's Necessity vs. System's Requirements; System's Requirements vs. Characteristic of Parts; Characteristic of Parts vs. Manufacturing Process; Manufacturing Process vs. Manufacturing Operation. Defined the set of operations which pose the major customer requirement in the methodology, it is time to set in motion the process control to establish the parameters that will guarantee the customer's needs. This methodology involves the application of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to develop the product ECU (Electronic Control Unit) - through the deployment of wombs the parameters that should be controlled in the manufacturing process are defined; tools, procedure and/or software to control the process are studied and applied properly. A case study had been done in an Automotive Parts Company, and the results proved the methodology proposed. In the following chapters it will be described all steps of process's implementation, since to search data on the customer, QFD applications, definition of the manufacturing operation and how to control the parameters of the new manufacturing process / Mestrado / Projetos / Mestre em Engenharia Automobilistica

Evaluation of a postgraduation program in mechanical engineering aiming at the supply of subsidies to its planning and continuous control utilizing the tool Quality Function Deployment.

Díaz Jurado, José Mauricio 15 May 2006 (has links)
This current research proposes the development of methodological program of evaluations and continuous quality improvement in post graduation in mechanical engineering course of the “Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo" (EPUSP), as a specific study case of the high education, targeting to provide subsidies for its planning. The methodology proposed herein is based on an adaptive use of QFD – a service and process tool – for education. It also intends to get quantitative values of satisfaction, relevance and performance (expected and relative) for each process and for each customer demand. Hence it will be possible to demonstrate where the program is acting in an effective manner and where improvements might be wanted, and how near or far from the objectives it is. The methodology adopted for the education is going to demonstrate the efficiency of the tool for another kind of services, and the education will be favored with an efficient evaluation and planning model. The results obtained in the work gives the option to a feedback, operating the planning of the methodology in a flexible way to the own modifications of the environment (customer’s requirements), The work had shown one of the application in engineering tools in straight benefit for the engineering and, in general, the education as well. As also evaluated the present performances and expectations of the post graduation (PG) in mechanical engineering of the EPUSP, showing which elements of the PG program would be able to be classified in good or deficient and know itself the efforts and resources directed to them are being well used.

The Research of Benefit on E-process with Cash management ¡V An Example of manufacturing industry

Liu, Yen-Chieh 16 February 2011 (has links)
Facing to the competition of global economic market,an enterprise have to get more chance of transaction with customers for the expansion in market, with the more frequent business, the more rich cash transaction will happen between company and company. And an enterprise surely need to have a good cash management system to help the people control the fund flow inside the enterprise, and people can dispatch the fund.We can rapidly and conveniently get the information about transaction by the E-Process and it will help the people to complete their job immediately. However, follow the change in our environment,or the replacement on government policy and the improvement on company strategy, the E-Process might be some flaw now and it create many trouble while a staff is doing jobs.In my research, there is a object to visit all the related people inside or outside the enterprise,in this way,I will collect the demand and suggestion about the cash process now,and find out a plan to solute the questions. The Accounts Payable is a important item in the company,it will appear when business action get into customer or supplier, also employee can get into it.For rapidly handling the Accounts Payable, accountants usually have their own opinion when using the E-Process.By recording the demand from accountants and to produce functions with process reengineering, and finally create a financial E-Process platform by QFD, this can be a reference to the top manager.

The Research of Rapid Logistics Strategy througth Mobility Implementation - An Example of Steel Company's Shipping System

Yang, Chao-chun 29 June 2007 (has links)
Thanks for the wide application of mobile technology and the incre- asing popularization of wireless networking, a brand new business oper- ation model, which breaks out the limitation of fixed working time and space and brings more real-time and activity to life and work, is therefore brought to enterprises, and has eventually brought up the booming deve- lopment of M-commerce (Mobile Commerce). With the attribute of regard- lessness of location, and the high flexibility and mobility, people can expect that more and more diversified mobile technology applications will be available and popularized in the coming future. However, if corporations only take suggestions from mobile technology providers or consultants, but understood neither what their corporations really need, nor ignored what their users most concerns, expenditure of time and money can be resulted, and no effect can be expected. Therefore, the QFD (Quality Function Deployment) method, with its MRM (Matrix Re- lation Map) tool, is introduced as a valid methodology to help identify users¡¦ requirements, and to sketch the relationships between each step of implementation. This research also adopts ¡§qualitative single case study with multiple units of analysis¡¨ as the basic approach, and the subject of this research is a steel manufacturer. By using QFD to clarify the voice from users of their needs, entprises can realize what the users really want. And by using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) skill to syste- matically transfer customers¡¦ requirements into design considerations, corporations can check if their capabilities can meet those voice from users, and then make practical plans that the entprises should do while implementing mobile environment. Finally, this research had, from the view of end-users, evaluated and consequently proposed a set of functions module and priority, as well as practice suggestions, for implementing mobile environment; The outcome of this research can be used as a basic for advanced study, and be adopted by corporations and industries in all areas.

A View of the Cardiovascular Device Industry

Cisneros, Daniel Aaron 03 October 2013 (has links)
This record of study details the experience and the knowledge applied by an engineering doctoral candidate during two internships with two separate organizations in the cardiovascular device industry. The first internship was with an early startup company with a large focus in early research and design. The second was in a more mature organization with a focus in process control and increasing efficiencies. The startup company provided the appropriate dynamic for applying engineering design methods such as generating customer requirements, generating product functional requirements, building a quality function deployment, and proposing a basic high level design approach. With the mature company the focus was on investigating procedural inefficiencies through root cause analysis and mitigating the inefficiencies through integrated software solutions. The detailed accounts of these experiences provide a broad overview of the many challenges facing the cardiovascular device industry and the organizations involved. These accounts also illustrate the importance and value of engineering design principles and systems based engineering management in the industry.
