The Research of Benefit on E-process with Cash management ¡V An Example of manufacturing industryLiu, Yen-Chieh 16 February 2011 (has links)
Facing to the competition of global economic market,an enterprise have to get
more chance of transaction with customers for the expansion in market,with the more
frequent business,the more rich cash transaction will happen between company and
company.And an enterprise surely need to have a good cash management system to
help the people control the fund flow inside the enterprise,and people can dispatch the
fund.We can rapidly and conveniently get the information about transaction by the
E-Process and it will help the people to complete their job immediately.
However,follow the change in our environment,or the replacement on government
policy and the improvement on company strategy,the E-Process might be some
flaw now and it create many trouble while a staff is doing jobs.In my research,there is
a object to visit all the related people inside or outside the enterprise,in this way,I will
collect the demand and suggestion about the cash process now,and find out a plan to
solute the questions.
The Accounts Payable is a important item in the company,it will appear when
business action get into customer or supplier,also employee can get into it.For rapidly
handling the Accounts Payable,accountants usually have their own opinion when using
the E-Process.By recording the demand from accountants and to produce functions
with process reengineering,and finally create a financial E-Process platform by QFD,
this can be a reference to the top manager.

The Research of Rapid Logistics Strategy througth Mobility Implementation - An Example of Steel Company's Shipping SystemYang, Chao-chun 29 June 2007 (has links)
Thanks for the wide application of mobile technology and the incre- asing popularization of wireless networking, a brand new business oper- ation model, which breaks out the limitation of fixed working time and space and brings more real-time and activity to life and work, is therefore brought to enterprises, and has eventually brought up the booming deve- lopment of M-commerce (Mobile Commerce). With the attribute of regard- lessness of location, and the high flexibility and mobility, people can expect that more and more diversified mobile technology applications will be available and popularized in the coming future.
However, if corporations only take suggestions from mobile technology providers or consultants, but understood neither what their corporations really need, nor ignored what their users most concerns, expenditure of time and money can be resulted, and no effect can be expected. Therefore, the QFD (Quality Function Deployment) method, with its MRM (Matrix Re- lation Map) tool, is introduced as a valid methodology to help identify users¡¦ requirements, and to sketch the relationships between each step of implementation.
This research also adopts ¡§qualitative single case study with multiple units of analysis¡¨ as the basic approach, and the subject of this research is a steel manufacturer. By using QFD to clarify the voice
from users of their needs, entprises can realize what the users really
want. And by using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) skill to syste-
matically transfer customers¡¦ requirements into design considerations, corporations can check if their capabilities can meet those voice from users, and then make practical plans that the entprises should do while implementing mobile environment.
Finally, this research had, from the view of end-users, evaluated and consequently proposed a set of functions module and priority, as well as practice suggestions, for implementing mobile environment; The outcome of this research can be used as a basic for advanced study, and be adopted by corporations and industries in all areas.

Adaptive agents in the House of QualityFent, Thomas January 1999 (has links) (PDF)
Managing the information flow within a big organization is a challenging task. Moreover, in a distributed decision-making process conflicting objectives occur. In this paper, artificial adaptive agents are used to analyze this problem. The decision makers are implemented as Classifier Systems, and their learning process is simulated by Genetic Algorithms. To validate the outcomes we compared the results with the optimal solutions obtained by full enumeration. It turned out that the genetic algorithm indeed was able to generate useful rules that describe how the decision makers involved in new product development should react to the requests they are required to fulfill. Further Development of a Docking Station : Redesign of MagniLink S Docking Station at LVI Low Vision InternationalJohansson, Tim, Nilsson, Pontus January 2015 (has links)
The purpose of this work is to evaluate how a docking station can be more future proof, environmentally friendly and satisfy the customers’ needs more. The docking station in focus of this project is owned by LVI, and used with one of their cameras MagniLink S. When comparing the results of the new docking station and the current docking station, the new docking station is more future proof, environmentally friendly and satisfies the customers’ needs more. In the end it is established that following steps should be followed during the development of a docking station: - Make sure that the cables are reliably fastened into the docking station and that the connectors can handle the docking force. - Design to use more material with lower environmental impact and ensure that the material fulfils the product requirements and objectives. Use as small amount of material as possible. - Prioritize the customers’ expressed and unexpressed needs as one of the highest priorities during the development process.

The effect of incentive schemes and organizational arrangements on new product development processNatter, Martin, Mild, Andreas, Feurstein, Markus, Dorffner, Georg, Taudes, Alfred January 2001 (has links) (PDF)
This paper proposes a new model for studying the new product development process in an artificial environment. We show how connectionist models can be used to simulate the adaptive nature of agents' learning exhibiting similar behavior as practically experienced learning curves. We study the impact of incentive schemes (local, hybrid and global) on the new product development process for different types of organizations. Sequential organizational structures are compared to two different types of team-based organizations, incorporating methods of Quality Function Deployment such as the House of Quality. A key finding of this analysis is that the firms' organizational structure and agents' incentive system significantly interact. We show that the House of Quality is less affected by the incentive scheme than firms using a Trial & Error approach. This becomes an important factor for new product success when the agents' performance measures are conflicting. Comparing frontend frameworks and cloud services by using House of QualityWikhög, Magnus January 2018 (has links)
The objective of this study has been to investigate and compare frontend javascript frameworks and cloud services in order to find which ones are most suitable to implement a web based product development application. The application will be based on the "House of Quality" methodology, which is commonly used in product development. It is basically a way to organize customer requirements, identify relevant quantifiable technical parameters and rank them in order to find out which ones are most important for the finished product. By using this very methodology on the application itself, the most important parameters were found to be data update delays and the need for additional services. The selected cloud services were benchmarked according to these parameters. For framework comparison, the methodology was based on existing research regarding what developers actually base their selection of frontend javascript frameworks on, which resulted in the metrics maturity, community size and documentation. SQL queries and benchmarking scripts were constructed in order to gather statistics from online services and run performance benchmarks. The results reveal substantial differences between frameworks as well as in performance among cloud services. A combination of the frontend framework Angular, the backend service Firebase and the authentication service Auth0 were found to be well suited for fulfilling the requirements of the product development application. Finally, potential problems, ethical considerations and areas where more research is required are discussed.

The application of Quality Function Deployment to the design and manufacture of engine main bearingsFoster, John D. 02 February 2010 (has links)
<p>Quality Function Deployment is an extremely useful tool which can be applied
within the Systems Engineering Process, to optimize product design and the design
process. The use of cross functional teams to analyze customer needs; translate them
into design attributes; and subsequently deploy them through every facet of product
design, development, and production, can significantly enhance the effectiveness and
efficiency of the entire process. Unfortunately the few examples of Quality Function
Deployment application, in the academic literature, are generally simplistic and lack any
significant depth.</p>
<p>
The objective of this report is to investigate the application of Quality Function
Deployment to a relatively complex product design requirement in an actual
manufacturing environment. Specifically, the design and production of engine main
bearings at the Federal Mogul plant in Blacksburg, Virginia, are considered.</p>
<p>
The report examines the use of Quality Function Deployment, as a general design
tool; the functional requirements and design constraints of engine main bearings; and the
application of one variation of Quality Function Deployment to the evaluation of
proposed changes to a bearing's design configuration and the bearing production process.</p>
<p>
The report concludes with recommendations concerning the implementation of
Quality Function Deployment at Federal Mogul, the conduct of Quality Function
Deployment instruction at Virginia Tech and a possible avenue for future research.</p> / Master of Science

Kvalitetssäkring i produktion Från identifiering till verifiering av kundbehov / Quality Assurance in Production From Identification to Verification of Customer NeedsBodecker, Magnus January 2011 (has links)
The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate and suggest how quality assurance can be accomplished and incorporated with customer needs to a product that customers want to purchase. The goal is to create a deeper understanding about quality assurance in businesses. It’s conducted by a qualitative case study to learn, analyze and describe the phenomenon. This is of interest because the requirements for quality are constantly increasing as new technology becomes available and new businesses arise. Customers require products with better quality, lower price, better performance and all this to a constantly reduced delivery time. Therefore, companies must work with a total quality management to discover customer needs and ensure that they will be fulfilled. Businesses must gain an understanding that customer satisfaction is the ultimate objective of every business: not to supply, not to sell, not to service, but to satisfy the needs that drive customers to do business. In order to enable a high customer satisfaction, different methods and tools as quality functional deployment and design for manufacture and assembly are presented within four different areas which all must have a good cross-functional cooperation. The four areas are identification of customer needs, design process, production process, and verification of quality. The identification of customer needs provides the conditions for how successful a product can be on the market. During the design process the most important decisions that affect the final price of the product is taken. The production process means that in a standard way, with minor variations, produce products that meet defined specifications. Finally, verification of quality is used to ensure that the product meet the specifications. After a theoretical framework and empirical evidence has been presented in the master thesis, an analysis and discussion is established to see how a company works with quality assurance. Finally, conclusions are presented about how companies in a similar situation can improve their efforts to ensure a higher customer satisfaction.
