Síntesis de aminojuglonas y carbazolquinonas

Zúñiga Hormazábal, Pamela Andrea January 2018 (has links)
Given the great structural diversity of the quinone compounds, they exhibit a wide range of applications in different fields. Nowadays, the most studied applications of these compounds are focused on their pharmacological properties. In this context, the possibility of to fuse quinone compounds with other molecules presents a great interest in order to improve their pharmacological properties. In this thesis, the synthesis and characterization of a series of aminoquinones derived from Juglones, a naturally occurring quinone is reported. The synthesis of the derivatives is carried out by oxidative addition of anilines to Juglone. By reaction of these compounds, and some aminoquinones previously synthesized, novel tetracyclic carbazolequinones, were obtained. The aminoquinone synthesis was performed using water as reaction solvent. The chosen anilines to carry out the reactions have only para substituents. At the second step, the aminoquinones were subsequently cyclized using palladium as catalyzer, under microwave irradiation providing the respective carbazoles / FONDECYT N°1140753
