Návrhy proměn baťovské architektury čtvrti Letná ve Zlíně / The Designs for Transformation of Bata's Architecture in Letná District, Zlín

Ovčiariková, Kvetoslava January 2013 (has links)
The diploma project is focused on screening the possibilities of increasing the inner area of the residences within the former workers-housing area Letná in Zlín. The targets of the project are: - To create an attractive residential district, composed of contemporarily re-designed working class spaces, - To support the district as a unit, which can be able to react on the actual demographical requests and conditions, and - To support the district, which should be able to compete with the new rising accommodation districts through its prevalent qualities. The result is a design consisting of 3 main variations of the default house extension. The added cubic elements present a solution for the problems most commonly seen in the district in its actual state; the house extension creates a transition between the private inner space of the house and the outer public space. The proposal allows maximal living space while minimizing construction size extension.

Aggregate City: an urban machine that triggers intuitive experience of view from a non-single perspective

Sun, Shudi January 2023 (has links)
City Aggregation Machine- Project for HousingThe core concept of the project is Ambi-formalism. The main content of the design is urban morphology and an urban system of collective communities. Aim at creating a non-single perspective of reading, I call this intuitive experience, to increase presence to position “ourselves".Based on the generative logic of the Fengshui map and the European fortification map of the city wall, the origami method is used to decompose its shape, and the visual scale is used to decompose the schema into units and become a procedural grid of urban aggregation. Transform inoperable forms into operable urban unit systems. As an autonomous urban structure that can accommodate multiple reading views, in turn , which can trigger people's intuitive schema in it. so as to position ourselves.Residential district is the object designed to operate the system and skeleton of urban aggregation which mix of private and public volumes can accommodate a series of events, it aiso in itself constitutes an event. The visual layer  is the schematic route(events) into a dwelling, to identify each neighborhood.

Rehabilitace historického jádra a přilehlého okolí města Kyjov se zaměřením na veřejný prostor / The Rehabilitation of the historical center and adjacent surroundings of Kyjov with a focus on the public space

Lípová, Markéta January 2018 (has links)
The subject of the diploma thesis is “Rehabilitation of the historical center and the surrounding neighborhoods in Kyjov with main focus on public space”. Urbanistic solution covers an area in close distance from the Masaryk Square, where the effort is to offer housing in the newly designed residential district. Diploma thesis also contains a design for completion and increase of capacity of the social services complex which is adjacent to the park by Saint Josef Chapel. This park is a part of the urbanistic design as well. The studied area is bordered by the streets of Újezd, Dobrovského, Dvořákova, Klvaňova, Brandlova and Palackého třída. Although Kyjov is situated mostly on plains the studied area is in a hilly and disunited part of the city. Buildings in this area are rather low-rise and mainly used for housing purposes. The design is focused on offering varied housing, which relates to the existing buildings and develops unused public space. Scope of this diploma thesis also contains a vision for the year 2070. The vision focuses on an area currently with high-rise blocks of flats. This area is adjacent to the newly designed residential district.

Obytný soubor Brno-Řečkovice / Residential complex Brno - Reckovice

Macečková, Eliška January 2013 (has links)
The area is located in the north part of Brno (Řečkovice a Mokrá Hora) and is surrounded by a housing estate. To the south of this area is a complex of former barracks. In our project we propose to use the area as a residential district with public amenities. Sports ground and the park are included. Currently there are terraced houses and separated family houses. We especially use low-floor blocks of houses with no more than four floors. Orientation of the blocks corresponds with the fact that this area is on the north slope. Family houses with gardens are situated on the east side of the area. The area is accessible from the Žilkova street (on the east) and from the Terezy Novákové street (on the west) – buildings on this street make a noise barrier. The square of our area is next to this street and represents a public place with public amenities (for example a retirement house and a school of art), underground car park and a pedestrian precint leading to the park. A tram stop is nearby. Sports ground and the park are situated in the north part of the area. In the central part we find the kindergarten. Underground car parks for the residents are under the blocks and its courtyards.

Šetina, Ondřej January 2016 (has links)
The thesis focuses on urban and constructional development of the city České Budějovice both from the historical point of view as well as from the perspective of the development of structural elements of buildings. The thesis dividend into two parts. The theoretical part describes the basic terminology, historical events establishing České Budějovice and formativ of individual city districts. It also contains relevant maps. The second one, application part deals with the development and changes of buildings during different time periods. Development of construction is divided into four time periods (until 1918, 1918-1948, 1948-1993 and from 1993 to the present). In each time period the historical development, constructional solutions and architectural design of buildings are descibed and specific examples of buildings and locations are given. This part of the thesis also deals with possible future development of residential areas considering the spatial plan and limits of development. The aim of the thesis is to compile an overview of historical development and constructional elements of buildings in the selected area from the beginning of the construction of the site to present and outline a possible future development of the city.
