Využití referenčního klimatického roku pro hodnocení a návrh termického solárního systému / Efficiency test reference year for the evaluation and design of solar thermal system

Jelínek, Petr Unknown Date (has links)
This thesis describes utilisation of test reference year for design and evaluation of solar thermal system. The evaluation was performed on a solar thermal system of a single-family house in Rapotice, Czechia. Long-term monitoring of the system as well as indoor and outdoor climate were performed there. Measured data were compared with test reference year and data in Meteonorm database. Selected boundary conditions of the solar thermal system were compared with numerical simulations in Polysun. The results of the comparison were statistically analysed. Results of the simulations utilizing test reference year were closer to the on-site measurements than dates from Meteonorm. Therefore it could be concluded that test reference year is the best database of climate data for design of solar thermal system in Czechia.

Dějiny střední Evropy jako jednotného prostoru v dlouhém 10. století / History of Central Europe as Joint Region in the Long 10th Century

Izdný, Jakub January 2019 (has links)
The thesis deals with the development of Central Europe in the period of the long 10th Century, trying to describe in general the change of that region in the given epoque. The comparison and interpolation of the phenomena such as the Christianisation, the emergence of the political and economic power and the general transformation of the society aims to define a new view of the whole problem. The preferred vision is the economic and political development of the elites, separated from the existing socio-political formations and constructing its own apparatus of power, that will only slowly and eventually confront and merge the pre-stat formation in the form of an Early Medieval Christian state.

Žvachta, Michal January 2020 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the depiction of West Berlin in the 1980s in a novel by Sven Regener Herr Lehmann written in 2001, which was published in Czech under the title Ještě jedno, pane Lehmanne. The aim of the thesis is to capture the everyday life and atmosphere of the Kreuzberg district of Berlin just before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Kreuzberg district has been still the center of an alternative cultural scene. In the shadow of the Berlin Wall, this district is famous for its boisterous nightlife, dense network of nightclubs and openness to the world. The thesis follows in the footsteps of the main character Frank Lehmann, called Mr. Lehmann by his friends, because in the novel, he will soon celebrate his thirtieth birthday. In the theoretical part, the thesis firstly deals with "literary space" as an important phenomenon of literary science. This theoretical part is followed by the presentation of the novel itself and its placement in the historical-literary context. The analysis of the novel itself gradually presents the time and scene of the story, the atmosphere of Kreuzberg in the 1980s, the characteristics of the characters and finally the displaying of political events. In its conclusion, the thesis also propose a comparison of the novel with the film adaptation of 2003.

Mediální dialogické sítě v komunistickém Československu / The media dialogical networks in the communist Czechoslovakia

Tvrdá, Karla January 2020 (has links)
The media dialogical networks in the communist Czechoslovakia Abstract The concept of the media dialogical networks (DN) is one of the ways to analyse mass media communication; its theoretical background is M. M. Bakhtin's theory of dialogism and H. Sacks' ethnometodological conversation analysis. The concept of DN had been developed using data collected in the 1990s in the UK and the Czech Republic while in this thesis it is applied to data originating in a different context, namely in former Czechoslovakia in 1952, 1967 and 1972. The main data source was the national daily Rudé právo [Red Justice]. The difference of the context lies both in the time distance of the target period, as well as in the then dominant tone of massmedia content. As for the aspect of time, there is a longer gap between the examined period and the present, which is also connected to a different state of development of technologies used in journalistic practice. And then, there is the fact that in the examined period the contents of mass media production were adapted to the ideological requirements of the ruling political party. The analysis deals mainly with the construction of the DN, the categorization work of actors of the DN and with the way new actors of the DN are selected. For this reason, the methods of sequential and...

Poezija britanske popularne kulture 20. veka: poetika i hermeneutika / Poetry Of 20th Century British Popular Culture: Poetics And Hermeneutics

Vujin Bojana 11 December 2014 (has links)

Tema ovog rada jeste poezija britanske popularne kulture dvadesetog veka, odnosno, stihovi pop i rok pesama britanskih muzičkih autora.
/
The topic of this research was the poetry of 20th century British popular culture, i.e., the lyrics of pop and rock songs written by British authors. The basic thesis of the dissertation was the idea that popular music lyrics can be considered to be poetry, and that the usual methods used to analyse traditional poetry can thus also be used in the analysis of pop and rock lyrics.
Even though popular music has long been considered a valuable factor in the 20th and 21st century culture, therefore being the topic of numerous critical studies, most of these studies have, surprisingly, been focused almost exclusively on the culturological and sociological importance of popular music and have thus approached it accordingly. This research is instead focused on its poetical elements (poetics), interpreting them as it would any other kind of literary text (hermeneutics). Sometimes, musicological element is also added to the analysis, given that the meaning of popular songs is created by the combination of both text and music.
Keir Keightley’s theory of Romantic and Modernist authenticity in music has been greatly helpful in choosing the bands on which the research was to focus. Since popular music studies mostly deal with Romantic authenticity, three bands which display Modernist
vii
authenticity – The Beatles, Queen, and Muse – were here chosen as subjects instead. Their lyrics were divided into four thematic groups: songs about love, narrative songs, songs about the inner world, and songs about the outer world; they were analysed according to these thematic focuses.
After the analysis was done, the following conclusion was drawn: pop and rock lyrics can indeed be considered poetry, even when the textual element is only secondary to the musical one. It has thus been proved that pop and rock texts should be regarded as part of the vast and varied area of poetry in general

Segmentace evropského trhu s ohledem na postproduktivní složku obyvatelstva / The European Market Segmentation with Respect to the Post-Productive Population

Rudá, Eliška January 2010 (has links)
The first step of the hierarchical approach to the international market segmentation is described and demonstrated in this master's thesis. The theoretical part that covers the methodology, statistical background and secondary data sources is followed by the illustration of cluster analysis. The outcome is the division of thirty European countries into five segments with respect to the post-productive population. The formed segments are then characterised and interpreted. Their usability is shown in three challenges in the European Year of 2012, which is dedicated to Active Ageing.

Raná prozaická tvorba bratří Čapků a kontext předválečné moderny / Early prosaic works of Čapek brothers and the context of pre-war

MACKOVÁ, Olga January 2008 (has links)
In the diploma thesis ``Early prosaic works of Čapek brothers and the context of pre-war modernism{\crqq} we deal in its first part with the joint prosaic works of the author pair of the Čapek brothers, ie. collections The Garden of Krakonos (transl. Krakonošova zahrada), The Luminious Depths and Other Prose (transl. Zářivé hlubiny a jiné prózy) and Juvenilie. We present comparison of these works and illustrate changes in poetics for each of these short stories. In the course of analysis of the collection The Garden of Krakonos we show its style in inclusion of diverse thoughts, aforisms and short stories which are anecdotically or ephigramatically ratched up with a strong self-reflective accent. With the analysis of the collection The Luminious Depths and Other Prose we point out the aim of the authors to achieve perfect form of novels. The stories are significantly longer and carefully plotted with the central role of an enclosed, complex, and thoughtful events in the past; authors work with the neo-classicistic form here. In the case of the collection Juvenilie we show patterns of this first and by authors themselves not too valued work which was even published post mortem. In their early works it is often obvious that they are only a preparation, a non-satisfying expression of a thought, and a literary concept which calls authors back for future reworkings. In the following part of the diploma thesis we focus on individual prosaic works of Čapek Brother - Josef{\crq}s first work Lelio and Karel{\crq}s first works The Wayside Crosses (transl. Boží muka) and Painful stories (transl. Trapné povídky). We aim to show the change from their previous collaboration to an original and individual form of expression of each of the authors. In the course of analysis of Josef{\crq}s short story Lelio, an example of the ``poetics of loathing{\crqq}, we show the expressivity of description of feelings of a lonely individual, the motives of anxiety, restlessness and sadness, all of which have probably an autobiographical roots. In Karel{\crq}s The Wayside Crosses, most of the stories try to capture only a separate event or even a single state of mind or feeling. The reader is approached with events which are by usual means inexplainable, with the moment when the rational, common life reaches an end and where he finds himself on a cross-section symbolized by the wayside Cross. In the case of Painful stories we analyze a collection of more coherent stories which mark the later style of Karel{\crq}s works. In the conlusion, the diploma thesis deals with the early journalistic activity of both brothers, with their critical artistic acumen. We analyze more deeply their part in organizing the significant collection Almanac 1914 (transl. Almanach na rok 1914) and we aim also for the thematic analysis of poems with which they contributed to the collection. Further, we approach their relationships with other avant-garde artists and authors, and analyze their contribution to the pre-war modernist movement.
