Muitas organizações utilizam o processo de aprendizado e de melhoria baseado na comparação e na observação, denominado de benchmarking, mas poucas sabem de fato como fazê-lo corretamente. A referida técnica fornece um estímulo externo que encoraja um ambiente de aprendizado contínuo, tornando as empresas adaptáveis a novos conhecimentos. O benchmarking tornou-se um enfoque interessante quando se percebe que a melhoria dos processos de uma organização é fundamental para que ela alcance vantagem competitiva, e também quando se torna claro que essa melhoria pode vir da troca de aprendizado com outras corporações. Este trabalho apresenta um protótipo de um repositório de informações de benchmarking com acesso via internet, que fornece uma base de dados às organizações participantes, e tem como intuito facilitar a troca de experiências entre as mesmas. Para a efetivação do presente trabalho foram realizados estudos da literatura sobre benchmarking, levantamentos das bases de dados de benchmarking existentes no Brasil e no exterior, que servissem de guia para o desenvolvimento do modelo conceitual do repositório, além da construção de uma base de dados composta por indicadores de desempenho e melhores práticas sobre benchmarking. Ao longo desse trabalho, procurou-se estudar os modelos de negócios eletrônicos, a importância e as formas de estruturação de um banco de dados e as questões relativas à segurança em sistemas de informação. Finalizando, demonstrou-se em detalhes como foi construída a base de dados de benchmarking e o website do projeto, denominado de RVB - Rede Virtual de Benchmarking, com o objetivo de enriquecer o modelo do repositório e o trabalho teórico/conceitual. / Many organizations use a learning and improvement process based in the comparation and observation, named benchmarking, but few organizations really know how to make it correctly. The technical provides an external stimulus which encourages a continuum learning environment, making the companies adaptable to the new knowledge. Benchmarking became an interesting focus when we notice that the improvement of the processes of an organization is fundamental for it to reach a competitive advantage, and also when it\'s clear that this improvement can come from the exchange of learning with other corporations. This study presents a prototype of a repository of benchmarking information with access through internet, which provides a data base to the participant organizations, and with the aim to make easy the exchange of experiences among the organizations. To the effectiveness of this work, literature study about benchmarking were carried out, as well as data bases benchmarking existing in Brazil and abroad, which could serve as a guide to the development of a conceptual model of repository, besides the construction of a data base composed of indicators of performance and better practices about benchmarking. Along this study it was studied the models of electronic businesses, their importance and the forms to structure a data bank and the questions related to the security in systems of information. To finalize it was demonstrated in details how was the benchmarkingdata base constructed and the website of the project, named RVB - Benchmarking Virtual Net with the objective of enrich the repository model and the conceptual/theoretical work.

In this perspective, this work consists on an exploratory study for implementation of a virtual net of collaborative learning proposal between the Federal Agrotécnicas Schools (Agrorede), thus, subsidizing the accomplishment of activities on-line among them and extending its educational horizons through virtual out of time spaces. In this direction, the inquiry preliminarily searched to outline the current scene of the federal agrotécnicas schools together with its education coordinators, in the intention of setting its possibilities and limits referring to virtual net implantation. After that, in order to allow the realization of the virtual net idea there was created a functional model of the above-mentioned net, AVA Moodle, which was submitted to the appreciation of responsible professionals from the computer science area of the federal agrotécnicas schools of the whole country. Finally, the conclusions that emerged from the reports indicated the existence of a positive expectation for such a proposal of a community of learning implantation through a virtual net, besides positive positionings regarding the use of computer science as mean of improvement to the quality of the education offered for the net schools. / As Novas Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação têm desempenhado um papel fundamental na busca de uma educação cada vez mais democrática. Neste intuito, este trabalho consiste num estudo exploratório para implementação de uma proposta de uma rede virtual de aprendizagem colaborativa entre as Escolas Agrotécnicas Federais (Agrorede), subsidiando assim a realização de atividades online umas com as outras e ampliando seus horizontes educacionais por meio de espaços virtuais atemporais. Nesta direção, a investigação buscou preliminarmente delinear o cenário atual das escolas agrotécnicas federais junto aos seus coordenadores de ensino, no intuito de explicitar suas possibilidades e limites no que se refere à implantação da rede virtual. Em seguida, a fim de permitir a concretização da idéia de rede virtual, foi montado um modelo funcional da referida rede, AVA Moodle, que foi submetido à apreciação dos profissionais responsáveis pela área de informática das escolas agrotécnicas federais de todo o país. Por fim, as conclusões que emergiram dos relatos indicaram a existência de uma expectativa positiva para uma tal proposta de implantação de uma comunidade de aprendizagem por meio de uma rede virtual, além de posicionamentos positivos com relação ao uso da informática como fator de melhoria da qualidade da educação oferecida pelas escolas da rede.

Vários trabalhos ja mostraram a viabilidade e benefícios dessa abordagem. No entanto, o tema ainda carece de soluções que possam virtualizar uma rede de forma escalável, intuitiva e simplificada. Desta forma, esta Tese propõe uma abordagem SDN para a virtualização de redes com o objetivo de reduzir as limitações em vSDNs. Sendo assim, sugere-se adotar na virtualização de rede a separação entre planos de dados (distribuído) e controle (centralizado), visão global da rede e uso de abstração de fluxo para gerir a comunicação entre os diferentes pontos. Para sustentar nossa proposição, três soluções foram desenvolvidas: o CIM-SDN (Common Information Model for Software-Dened Networking), para viabilizar o uso de representação formal dos novos elementos das vSDNs; o NVP (Network Virtualization Proxy), para prover maior escalabilidade através da separação do plano de controle em partes centralizadas e descentralizadas; e o GVL (Graph Virtualization Layer), para fornecer maior uso de abstrações entre o hypervisor e os controladores simplicando, assim, o entendimento e uso da rede. Foram realizadas provas de conceitos para as três soluções propostas, demonstrando a viabilidade da abordagem. / The virtual SDN networks (vSDNs) have emerged from the association of virtualization and Software-Dened Networking (SDN), providing greater control and better use of network resources. Several studies have already shown the feasibility and benets of this approach. However, the issue still lacks solutions that can virtualize a network in a scalable, intuitive and simplied manner. Thus, this thesis proposes an SDN approach to network virtualization with the aim of reducing the limitations on vSDNs. Therefore, it is suggested to adopt in network virtualization the separation between data plans (distributed) and control (centralized), the global network view and use of ow abstraction to manage the communication between the dierent points. To support our proposition, three solutions were developed: the CIM-SDN (Common Information Model for Software-Dened Networking), to enable the use of formal representation of the new elements of vSDNs; The NVP (Network Virtualization Proxy), to provide greater scalability by separating the control plane into centralized and decentralized parts; And Graph Virtualization Layer (GVL), to provide greater use of abstractions between the hypervisor and controllers, thereby simplifying the understanding and use of the network. Proof of concept tests was carried out for the three proposed solutions, demonstrating the feasibility of the approach.

In society, nowadays, the exarcebated volume of the connective input of social, cultural, economic and technological wealth, which refers to information, requires that countries promote measures that go far beyond the physical space found in such systems so as to get into the virtual world. Intellectual technologies, then, come into action as a solution concerning the increasing informational flow, among them, the digital hypertext as a technology for the organization, management as well as communication of informational blocks; and groupware blog, chat and discussion lists as those ones capable of stimulating users to both individual and collective intelligence in the context of virtual learning nets. The overall aim is directed to the analysis of the digital hypertext as a technology targeted on information management and organization in the perspective of information communication. The specific ones cover the creation of a study group involving professors, researchers and Master students on areas like Management, Computer Science and Information Science, with the purpose of discussing interdisciplinary relations; the elaboration of guidelines for the production of the Virtual Learning Net's prototype PPGCI.NET, of the Postgraduate Program on Information Science/UFPB, by means of the relation digital hypertext -groupware blog, chat and discussion list; and the investigation into digital hypertext in the perspective of organization and management for information communication as regards to the guidelines for the development of the Virtual Learning Net PPGCI.NET. The methodological features as to method types, research, objective, gathering procedures and data nature correspond, respectively, to the following ones: research-action method, practical research or research-action, participant research, exploratory research and qualitative one. The substantiated plurality of theoretical voices - throughout the research - also includes the methodological analysis of the Hypertextus Study Group's discussions, of the students' - the ones who are representative of the Postgraduate Program on Information Science/UFPB, and of the volunteered participation of an Information Science professional. The aspects, described above, represent only some links of such an untiring web of investigation called hypertext. / A necessidade de organizar a informação imposta pela crescente massa informacional impulsiona medidas de tratamento pelos profissionais nos mais variados sistemas de informação, como arquivos, bibliotecas, centros de documentação, museus, etc. Na sociedade atual, o volume exacerbado do insumo conector de riqueza cultural, econômica, social e tecnológica que é a informação, exige que países promovam medidas que vão além do espaço físico encontrado nesses sistemas para adentrarem no mundo virtual. As tecnologias intelectuais entram em cena como uma solução diante do crescente fluxo informacional, entre elas o hipertexto digital como uma tecnologia para a organização, gestão e comunicação de blocos informacionais, e os groupware blog, chat e lista de discussão como aqueles capazes de estimular nos usuários as inteligências individual e coletiva no contexto das redes virtuais de aprendizagem. O objetivo geral refere-se à análise do hipertexto digital como uma tecnologia intelectual voltada para a gestão e organização da informação na perspectiva da comunicação da informação.
