Aspetti politici-sociali della condizione carceraria in Italia e in Francia

Pacini, Patrizia 20 June 2018 (has links)
The theoretical context of this work is the comparative analysis of the sociological, legislative, political and institutional aspects of the prison universe in two European countries which are very close, historically and culturally, France and Italy. The aim is to provide a representation of the everyday dimension of the prison, an articulated and variable reality that is one of the most controversial themes in the current political and social debate in Europe. The research work focuses on five main themes: health, school and education, work, relationship with the family, the role of volunteering. This work aims at investigating the reality, the processes and the perspectives, the coherent and incoherent models of rehabilitation beyond the most diffuse and well-established stereotypes. Essentially, the thesis consists in defining and understanding how an individual can socialize through meaningful paths, encounters and experiences in a closed, technically de-socialized, degraded and extremely invasive place such as prison. That is to say, how prison, an authoritarian and dogmatic state facility far removed from society, can constitute a positive means of socialization that allows the prisoner to overcome depersonalization through motivating and constructive dynamics, developing a new awareness, a moral integrity and a rewarding comparison with external models. All this allows him to interrupt his career as a delinquent and assume a new lifestyle.

Imagerie motrice, rééducation et réadaptation fonctionnelle : application aux blessés médullaires / Using motor imagery in functional recovery : experimental studies in patients with spinal cord injury

Grangeon, Murielle 29 September 2010 (has links)
The mental representation of movement may help motor functions recovery after central or peripheral stroke. There is now ample evidence that motor performance and learning ma benefit from mental rehearsal in healthy subjects. However, whether the ability to perform motor imagery is preserved after spinal cord injury, the effectiveness of mental rehearsal on prehension rehabilitation has to be questioned. The review of relevant literature about motor imagery and rehabilitation show that integrating mental practice into the rehabilitation process may be a reliable tool. Traditional stroke rehabilitation therapies are usually based upon actual movement aimed at improving motor functions. However, this may be limited by muscle spasticity, muscle weakness, or persistent deficit in movement coordination. As motor imagery and actual movement share the same neural substrate, mental rehearsal may serve motor rehabilitation by involving cerebral plasticity and thus facilitating recovery. More specifically, it will be useful to elaborate guideline of mental practice in rehabilitation. Additional clinical issues, including brain mapping studies, need to be performed

Amorim, Luiz Antonio. January 2001 (has links)
Abstract: The social formation is the product of political, economic, cultural, religious, familiar, educational and medicinal interferences, which becomes different means of knowledge. The Education as a whole, is based on the scientific knowledge accumulated in the human history and transmitted by the educational practice. So, it is where and when the individual disposes of a conventional knowledge access based on the learning of reading, writing and calculating. Depending on the educational methods used, the Education doesn't transmit to the student, questionings about obligations and duties obtained in the society he lives, it just transmits the systematized knowledge. The Penitentiary Institution, based on the social right as a whole or just "from the outside in" is the result of the actual accumulation of social needs. The Federal and State Governments, the Penal Justice, the Penitentiary System, with the help of the press, transmit informations about the imprisoned population, evident criminal practice, standard of the corrective rules, financial cost to maintain the prisoners and rebellions. In this study, besides the "outside in" vision, it is important another vision, the prisoners vision, trying to understand the educational practice on the prison, imposed by the penal execution law and seldom published. To get an approach of the comprehension, the opinions are taken from the imprisoned students, about the Education that is offered in Prison, or so, it is about an attempt to find a vision "from the inside out" of the Education in Prison. Methodologically, this opinions are conquered and analyzed from declarations, interviews, semi-structured, questionnaires answered formally and systematic observation according to pedagogic parameter. / Mestre
