No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 2016-04-29 / A relação de interdependência entre os mais diversos códigos linguísticos, construções sobre os conceitos de saúde, corpo e doença e a especificidade de sua condição de refugiado, impõem novas reflexões sobre a maneira pela qual o Estado deve garantir o direito ao pleno acesso aos serviços de saúde. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a construção social da figura do refugiado num ambulatório transcultural de psiquiatria (AT), especializado no atendimento aos imigrantes e surdos. Uma das vigilancias epistemológicas em que apostei foi a de não caracterizar os profissionais de saúde apenas como agentes da biomedicina e em suas relações de poder. Assim, realizei uma etnografia no ambulatório. Acompanhei discussões de casos clínicos, atividades didáticas e realizei entrevistas com os fundadores e os profissionais de saúde do AT. Na tentativa de dar conta deste encontro clínico com a diferença, é possível notar “cultura” como categoria fundamental na imaginação sociológica dos meus nativos, subsidiando diversas aulas com os residentes de psiquiatria, além de estar presente nas publicações dos fundadores do AT e nas entrevistas realizadas. / The interdependence relation among the most diverse linguistic codes, constructions about the health concepts, body and disease and the vulnerability of their condition of refugee require new thoughts about the way in which the State must guarantee the right to full access to health services. The purpose of this investigation is analyzing the social construction of the image of the refugee in the context of an transcultural mental health service specializes in the treatment of immigrants. I followed clinical cases discussions, educational activities and conducted interviews with the founders and health professionals of the mental health service. It is possible to note culture as a fundamental category in the sociological imagination of my native, supporting several classes with psychiatry residents, and it is present in the publications of the AT founders and in the interviews performed. / BV UNIFESP: Teses e dissertações
