La moitié des députés du Reichstag de la République de Weimar a fait la Première Guerre mondiale. Comment ont-ils intégré cette expérience dans leur parcours politique et dans le récit qu’ils en font ? Cette expérience commune aurait pu aboutir, dans une Assemblée profondément divisée par de nombreux clivages, à construire une communauté au-dessus des partis. Mais c’est à l’intérieur des partis que cette expérience a trouvé sa traduction politique. En effectuant une prosopographie minutieuse d’un corpus de 1 674 députés, l’image des quatre ans de guerre apparaît de manière beaucoup plus complexe qu’à première vue : ni complètement différente, ni réductible à des schèmes, cette expérience s’est très rapidement polarisée, sous le poids de la défaite, autour d’événements politiques (Révolution, traité de Versailles…), pour exercer des effets très différents selon les partis : effet centrifuge sur des députés depuis longtemps politisés à gauche, effet de politisation radicale pour l’extrême droite, sentiment de forte continuité au centre. Au Reichstag, l’évocation de la guerre provoque des conflits : elle fait rejouer les souvenirs d’une guerre où les antagonismes de classes sociales se traduisaient dans des inégalités entre officiers et simples soldats. Lorsque ces mêmes antagonismes se retrouvent dans le profil social des partis politiques, une vision commune de l’héritage des tranchées ne peut pas émerger entre les bancs de l’Assemblée. La tentation était forte, notamment dans les partis radicaux, de faire vivre cet héritage non plus au sein de l’enceinte parlementaire, mais dans la rue. / One half of the Weimar Republic’s Reichstag Deputies has served in the First World War. How did they manage to make this experience fit into their following political career, and in the description they were making of it? This experience could have served as a foundation, in a deeply divided Assembly, to build a community above political parties. But the political translation of this experience has been made inside the parties. Building a prosopography by searching through Deputies’ biographies helped to reveal a much more complex picture of these four years of war : not totally different from a man to another, not just as simple as general schemas, this experience has been quickly polarised, after the defeat, around political events, such as the Revolution or the Treaty of Versailles, and has struck the different parties with really different effects : centrifugal effects for the long-term politicized Deputies of the socialist party; radical politicisation for the extreme-right, strong feeling of continuity in the center. At the Reichstag, conflicts come up when the War is evoked: it reminisces to MPs antagonisms among social classes, mirrored by inequalities between officers and simple soldiers. The Weimar parties were built on those same social differences: a common view of the legacy from the trenches was impossible among the benches of the Assembly. There was a strong temptation, especially for the radical parties, to fight for this legacy not only at the Parliament, but in the streets.

There is a gap in the local tourist market for value-added goods. Curios are available in abundance at the National Zoological Gardens nearby the Panagos Building, but these are of an inferior quality and are unsuitable for export. A craft node at which the local and tourist communities intersect creates an ideal platform for related activities through which these communities can support each other. At this node, training of local talent for the production and trade of value-added craft products will take place. Die Arbeit untersucht die parlamentarische Diskussion im Deutschen Reichstag um die (Bismarckschen) Sozialversicherungsgesetze 1881-1889 hinsichtlich ihrer Beeinflussung durch christlich-religiös motivierte Standpunkte. Sie weist nach, dass die Prägekräfte religiöser Überzeugungen und Argumentationsmuster nicht nur auf einer kirchlichen oder theologischen Ebene wirksam sind, sondern beispielsweise mit der Sozialversicherung bis in die unmittelbare Gegenwart wirksam sind. Die Arbeit enthält einen umfassenden Überblick über die sozialreformatorische Diskussion des 19. Jahrhunderts sowie über die sozialpolitischen Maßnahmen bis zur Einführung der Sozialversicherung.
