Ao identificar novas necessidades, que possibilitem seu desenvolvimento, a sociedade altera sua concepção do conhecimento, o que induz a formulação de diferentes formas de tratamento dos documentos e de seu conteúdo. Estabelecemos então, como objeto de pesquisa, os processos da enunciação de codificação e da enunciação de decodificação da informação documentária. Supomos que tais processos são construídos com a função de representar e recuperar o conhecimento registrado em qualquer tipologia de documento, pois a necessidade de codificação e decodificação está sintonizada com as necessidades informacionais da sociedade. Demonstramos como a classificação do conhecimento científico, ao longo dos séculos, tem se refletido na organização deste conhecimento e na elaboração da informação documentária, nas instituições responsáveis pela sua preservação e disseminação. Sustentamos a suposição assimilada, demonstrando o seu valor explicativo, analisando-se a tensão dialética que se estabelece entre os sistemas de classificação e os sistemas de recuperação, e que determina o processo semiótico denominado representação documentária, e possibilita a enunciação de codificação e a enunciação de decodificação da informação documentária. Concluímos propondo um novo modelo de Linguagem Documentária que leva em conta a dinâmica da enunciação de codificação e da enunciação de decodificação da informação documentária. / When identifying new necessities, that make possible its development, the society modifies its conception of knowledge, which induces the creation of different forms of treatment of documents and its contents. We have selected as object of our research, to study the processes by which codification and decoding the documentary information are connected. We believe that such processes are constructed with the function of representing, and retrieval the knowledge registered in any type of document, therefore the codification needs and decoding are connected with the information needs of a society. We demonstrated that the classification of the scientific knowledge, throughout centuries, was reflected in the organization of society’s knowledge, and the elaboration of the documentary information, was delegated to institutions for its preservation and dissemination. We support this idea by demonstrating its clarifying value, analyzing it dialectic tension that established entries to the systems of classification and the retrieval systems, and that it determines the semiotic process called documentary representation, and makes possible the connection of codification and of decoding of the documentary information. We concluded our work by proposing a new model of Documentary Language that takes into account the dynamics of the enunciation of codification and of the enunciation of decoding of the documentary information

Estudo sobre a representação documentária da informação estatística. A partir do reconhecimento dessa informação como representação de realidades sociais, identificam-se as suas especificidades e as da sua representação documentária visando sua divulgação na Internet e, portanto, a transmissão de informação sem a intermediação presencial do documentalista. Parte-se das premissas que a informação estatística tem características próprias que a diferenciam da informação textual, e que nem todas as recomendações para a construção de linguagem documentária, para representar esse tipo de informação, se aplicam necessariamente à representação de informações estatísticas. Utilizando referenciais da construção da linguagem documentária e da terminologia, sistematizam-se alguns parâmetros para que também o tratamento e a divulgação da informação estatística se realizem como possibilidades para a geração de novos conhecimentos. / This paper deals with the study on the documentary representation of statistical information. From the recognition that the statistical information represents social realities, the study identifies their specificities and their documentary representation, focusing its popularization in Internet and, therefore, its transmission without the presence of the librarian. It is based on two premises: first, the statistical information has characteristics that differentiate it from the textual information, and, second, not all the recommendations for the documentary language construction to represent textual information, necessarily represent statistical information. Using reference of documentary language construction and terminology, some parameters were systematized so that also the treatment and the popularization of the statistical information take place as possibilities of generating new knowledge.

In view of, therefore, the uniqueness and importance of information in the field of Economics, serves as support for the socioeconomic development of Brazil, inquire: As the information field of Economics is represented by Indexing Languages? The thesis of this research is that the improvement of the representation of information in the field of Economics depends on your definition of the concept and studies of Indexing Languages that represent. Performs a theoretical-methodological study of the Knowledge Representation and Indexing Languages, in the context of Information Science. Presents and describes three Indexing Languages that covering the field of economics: the Controlled Vocabulary of the USP; the Thesauri ISOC of Economy; and the translation of the Library of Congress Subject Headings used by Biblioteca Nacional. Conceptualizes the information of the field of Economics. Used as a methodology the “Modelo Metodológico Integrado para Construção de Tesauro” proposed by Cervantes (2009). The research concludes that this model is an instrument consolidated and feasible to build of Indexing Languages. Prepares a documentary structure of the field of Economics having as parameter of the Indexing Languages and the specific documents area. From the compilation of corpus economic terms of the bulletins and your comparison and verification in the languages surveyed, classifying for the, next, submit a proposal for categorization their in the subdomain “Economic Indicators”, entering in the Vocabulário da USP. Infers that, the term of the information of the field of Economics, even as the concept of Economic Indicators, consolidate as synonyms of information, because indicate a “sets with significant expertise” of the economic conjuncture. They represent therefore, productive aspects of the reality of the country, a state, a county, or even specific sectors, that can the use for the make decision and consequent investments in innovations that result in an improvement to society. / Esta pesquisa investiga a representação documentária do domínio da Economia, por meio da análise das estruturas de representação em Linguagens Documentárias e documentos específicos de Economia, a partir da identificação dos termos dos Boletins de Conjuntura Econômica do Brasil. Tem como objetivo geral, contribuir com o desenvolvimento da representação da informação do domínio da Economia, por meio dos resultados da análise de como a informação é representada nas Linguagens Documentárias e, como objetivos específicos: investigar os aspectos teóricos da representação documentária do domínio da Economia; identificar e descrever a informação nos Boletins de Conjuntura Econômica do Brasil; e, analisar a informação do domínio da Economia representada nas Linguagens Documentárias. Tendo em vista, portanto, a peculiaridade e a importância da informação do domínio da Economia, que serve de suporte para o desenvolvimento socioeconômico do Brasil, indaga-se: Como a informação do domínio da Economia é representada pelas Linguagens Documentárias? A tese desta pesquisa é de que o aprimoramento da representação da informação do domínio da Economia depende da delimitação do seu conceito e de estudos das Linguagens Documentárias que a representam. Realiza, então, um estudo teórico-metodológico da Representação do Conhecimento e da Linguagem Documentária, no contexto da Ciência da Informação. Apresenta e descreve três Linguagens Documentárias que abrangem o domínio da Economia: o Vocabulário Controlado da USP; o Tesauro ISOC de Economia; e a tradução da Library of Congress Subject Headings utilizada pela Biblioteca Nacional. Conceitua a informação do domínio da Economia. Utiliza, como metodologia, o “Modelo Metodológico Integrado para Construção de Tesauro”, proposto por Cervantes (2009). A pesquisa conclui que este modelo é um instrumento consolidado e exequível para construção de Linguagens Documentárias. Elabora uma estrutura documentária do domínio da Economia tendo, como parâmetro, as estruturas das Linguagens Documentárias e os documentos específicos da área. A partir da compilação do corpus de termos econômicos dos boletins, do seu cotejamento e verificação nas linguagens pesquisadas, classifica-os para, em seguida, apresentar uma proposta de categorização deles no subdomínio “Indicadores Econômicos”, inserindo-os no Vocabulário da USP. Infere que o conceito de informação do domínio da Economia, assim como o conceito de Indicadores Econômicos, consubstanciam-se como sinônimos de informação, pois indicam um “conjunto de significantes” da conjuntura econômica. Representam, assim, aspectos da realidade produtiva do país, de um estado, de um município, ou mesmo de setores específicos, que podem utilizá-los para tomadas de decisão e consequentes investimentos em inovações que resultem em melhoria para a sociedade.
