The master's thesis considers a project proposal for improvement of hardware equipment in the company VURAL, a.s.. Project management methods and procedures defined by IPMA (International Project Management Association) are used in this thesis.

This thesis deals with design of precautionary measures for Czech engineering companies to defend against the threat of potential economic downturn in China. Analytical part contains descriptions of individual industry sections, correlation analyses of selected indicators and history of international trade in between relevant countries. In the last chapter, the mathematical models with time series prediction, as well as the risk analysis and proposal of precautionary measures, are carried out.

The theoretical part explains the concepts and methods that are used in other parts of the thesis. The second part is devoted to analyzing the market of electronic cigarettes in the Czech Republic, SWOT analysis, requirements for the technical features of e-commerce platform, analysis of external and internal environment of the company and ultimately a risk analysis of the project. The third part of the thesis defines procedures for the right proposal of e-commerce, contains proposals for specific competitive advantages and describes the use of marketing tools to promote the store.
