No. of bitstreams: 1 JOSÉ MENDES SANTANA - DISSERTAÇÃO PPGECA 1998..pdf: 8569106 bytes, checksum: e5c953b46b630109d605966ae3faa92d (MD5) Previous issue date: 1998-03 / Neste trabalho são apresentados os resultados de ensaios efetuados "in situ" utilizando-se o pressiômetro de Briaud, Prova de Carga sobre Placas e CBR, e ensaios de laboratório, objetivando analisar comparativamente os resultados obtidos nos diferentes ensaios para avaliar estruturalmente as camadas constituintes do pavimento. É apresentada inicialmente uma revisão bibliográfica dando-se ênfase principalmente aos procedimentos teóricos para interpretações dos ensaios, descrição dos equipamentos e metodologia de utilização. A seguir é dada uma visão geral, envolvendo as características ambientais da região onde se localiza a rodovia, objeto da pesquisa, bem como a sistemática empregada na caracterização e definição dos parâmetros de resistência e deformabilidade dos materiais encontrados nas camadas do pavimento. Os resultados obtidos "in situ" envolvendo 79 (setenta e nove) ensaios de CBR, 46 (quarenta e seis) provas de carga sobre placas e 56 (cinquenta e seis) ensaios pressiométricos permitiram uma avaliação do comportamento do pavimento sob ponto de vista qualitativo.Finalmente, foram obtidas significativas correlações entre os parâmetros resultantes do CBR, ensaios de placa e pressiométricos. / In this work are presented the results made "in situ" and laboratory essays, using the Pressuremeter of Briaud, Plate-loading tests and CBR, objectifying to analyze the results obtained in the different essays to proceed a structural evaluation of the constituent layers of the pavement. It is presented a preliminary bibliographical revision being given emphasis mainly to the theoretical procedures for interpretations of the experiments, description of the equipments and use methodology. Next a general vision was carried out, involving the environmental characteristics of the área where the highway, object of the research, is located as well as the systematic used in the characterization and definition of the resistance and strain parameters of the materiais found in thelayers of the pavement. The obtained results "in situ" involving 79 (seventy nine) essays of CBR, 46 (forty six) load tests on plates and 56 (fifry six) pressuremeter tests allowed an evaluation of the behavior ofthe pavement under qualitative viewpoint. Finally, they were obtained significant correlations among the resulting parameters of CBR, plate-loading and pressuremeter tests.
