Orientador: Arlete de Jesus Brito / Banca: Antônio Vicente Marafioti Garnica / Banca: Marcos Vieira Teixeira / Banca: Maria Ângela Miorim / Banca: Maria Rosa Rodrigues Martins de Camargo / Resumo: De início, esta investigação pretendia apenas perceber o cenário da Educação Matemática no Centro Estadual de Educação de Jovens e Adultos (CEEJA) Padre Moretti, no percurso histórico de 1977 a 2012, mas, ao percorrer caminhos na perspectiva da Nova História Cultural como a pensada por Chartier (1990), a pesquisa se ampliou a partir de dados obtidos sobre a atuação daquele Centro, da história de Rondônia e da família de Cecília, personagem deste texto. Por consequência, também foram discutidos os processos formativos da personagem e de outros professores em Rondônia. Os dados emergiram da constituição de documentos, tais como: leis, resoluções e portarias (marcos legais) que referenciam os cursos de EJA em Rondônia; projetos encontrados nos arquivos do CEEJA; jornais antigos localizados na biblioteca Francisco Meirelles, e as memórias de Cecília e de dez entrevistados (egressos e professores da instituição). As interpretações realizadas a partir dos dados coletados deram origem ao texto polifônico e dialógico, na perspectiva de Bakhtin (2011). A concepção de cultura, a partir de Geertz (2008), possibilitou a construção da história, isto é, as travessias de Cecília, em busca de uma compreensão sobre o enredo deste texto que se move entre dificuldades e oportunidades das personagens, bem como da Educação no estado de Rondônia. No que se refere à história de Rondônia, foi percebida a diversidade de oportunidades de trabalho e até de melhorias financeiras de parte da população, entretanto muitas dificuldades sempre estiveram presentes, como a falta de infraestrutura de educação e saúde, além de atuações políticas descompromissadas com a população em geral. Na história da Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) em Rondônia e no CEEJA foram identificados momentos de oscilações entre a ampliação do atendimento e declínio nas atuações e no número de alunos da Instituição. Ao analisar os... / Abstract: Initially, this research intended only realize the scenario of Mathematics Education in the Centro Estadual de Educação de Jovens e Adultos (CEEJA) Padre Moretti, the historical path from 1977 to 2012, but the go thru the perspective of the New Cultural History as thought by Chartier (1990), the survey was expanded from data obtained on the performance of that center, the story of Rondônia and the family of Cecilia character of this text. Interpretations we had from the collected data gave rise to the polyphonic text and dialogical perspective of Bakhtin (2011). A proposta é analisar a atuação dos militares e os debates em torno da construção e da administração do Território Federal do Guaporé, quando foram instalados os primeiros Núcleos Agrícolas e os Contingentes Especiais de Fronteiras, no atual Estado de Rondônia. A colonização implementada pelos militares, ancorada na ideologia do "vazio demográfico" na fronteira, significou um impacto sobre os modos de vida das populações nativas - seringueiros e índios -, gerando conflitos sociais e étnicos. Confrontando os interesses das elites regionais e seus projetos para a região com os princípios sobre segurança e defesa de fronteiras que norteavam a ação do exército na região, busco recuperar os debates e seus desdobramentos na criação do Território Federal do Guaporé, nos bastidores do Estado Novo. Procuro, também, questionar as "mudanças" propagandeadas pelo governo federal e elites locais, a partir da implantação da estrutura administrativa do Território, evidenciando as contradições sociais agravadas com a continuidade da política de concentração de terras e dos seus recursos estratégicos e com a instituição de normas militarizadas para administrar a sociedade na região. / Abstract: This work boards lots of agricultural occupation and colonization's projects implemented by the Army, on the frontier área of the valley formed by the Madeira river and Guaporé river, between the decades of 30 and 40 of the XX Century. The proposal is to analyse the militaries' performance and the debates about the construction and administration of GuaporéþFederal Territory, when there were instaled the first Agricultural Nucleus and the Especial Frontier Contingents, at the actual Estate of Rondônia. The colonization, implemented by the militaries, anchored on the ideology of "demography empty" at the frontier, meant an impact on the native populationþs ways of live - rubber tree workers and indians- producing lots of social and etnical conflicts. Confronting the regional elite's interests and its projects on the principles about safety and frontier defence has guided the Army's action in the area, I try to recuperate the debates and their consequences on the creation of Guaporé's Federal Territory, on the wings of the New Estate. I also try to discuss the "changes" diffused by the federal government and local elites, from the establishment of the Territory"s administrative structure, evidencing the social contradictions aggravated with the continuity of the lands' concentration politics and its strategic resources and with the institucion of militarized rules to administrate the regional society. / Mestre
