Esse aparato, quando bem especificado, controla ganhos térmicos, melhora a distribuição da iluminação, permite ventilação e pode diminuir o consumo energético, entre outras vantagens. Considerando esses benefícios, este trabalho analisa qualitativamente a eficiência dos brises em edifícios de escritórios públicos do Plano Piloto de Brasília. A cidade, por concentrar a administração do país, apresenta um grande número desses edifícios e, conseqüentemente, de funcionários que podem ter sua qualidade de trabalho comprometida. Para tal, fez-se inicialmente um levantamento de 138 edifícios públicos de escritórios, por meio de observação, para caracterizar as fachadas e verificar a freqüência de utilização de elementos de proteção solar, assim como as tipologias de brises (vertical, horizontal e misto) aplicadas. Em seguida, realizou-se uma análise do tipo de brise mais freqüente por orientação solar em edifícios específicos selecionados, baseando-se em critérios obtidos a partir da bibliografia existente e da carta solar como instrumento de avaliação da eficiência dos mesmos. Entre os resultados, verificou-se que o número de fachadas envidraçadas efetivamente protegidas é relativamente pequeno e que os diversos tipos de brises são utilizados independentemente da orientação. No que diz respeito ao estudo de casos, entre outras conclusões, observou-se em alguns a ausência de controle suficiente da radiação solar, devido às especificações e dimensionamento inadequados, além de problemas como o uso incorreto por parte dos usuários e falta de manutenção. A partir disso, sugerem-se subsídios para diretrizes para a adequação dos brises analisados e para projetos futuros, considerando as orientações predominantes constatadas no levantamento de campo. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / Thermal comfort is one of the main factors that contributes for the indoor environment quality and for the users welfare in work places, and can be attained by the adoption of passive control system, such as use of brise-soleil. This device, when correctly specified, controls thermal gains, improves the light distribution, allows ventilation and can decrease the energy consumption, among others advantages. Considering these benefits, this work analyzes qualitatively the efficiency of brises in public offices buildings of Brasília Pilot Plan. Concentrating the country administration, the city presents a great number of these buildings and, as a consequence, a great number of employees who may have a poor work environment quality . To do so, first a survey of 138 public office buildings was made, by means of observations, to characterize the façades and to verify the frequency of use of solar protection elements, as well as the types of brises (vertical, horizontal and mixed) applied. Then, the most frequently found types of brises for each solar orientation were analyzed in selected buildings, based on criteria obtained in the litterature and in using solar charts as instrument of evaluation of the efficiency. Among the results, it was verified that the number of glass façades effectively protected is small and that the various types of brises are applied regardless of the orientation. Concerning the case studies, among others conclusions, it was observed insufficient solar radiation control in some of them, due to inadequate specifications and sizing, besides other problems, such as incorrect use and lack of maintenance. Finally, subsidies for a guideline for improving the analyzed brises and for future projects are suggested, considering the predominant solar orientations found in the field survey.

Esta pesquisa analisa como são trabalhadas as influências dos diferentes estilos de teatro japonês na elaboração dos trajes de cena do Théâtre du Soleil, sob a direção de Ariane Mnouchkine nas produções de Ricardo II (1981), Henrique IV - parte um (1984) e Tambores sobre o dique (1999). São investigadas a história, os trajes, as máscaras e a maquiagem do teatro Nô, Kyogen, Kabuki e Bunraku, para estabelecer uma melhor análise dos espetáculos do Théâtre du Soleil, citados acima. É elaborado também, um pequeno manual com as modelagens e fotos da construção de um traje de cada um dos tipos de teatro japonês e dois conjuntos de trajes de cada espetáculo do Théâtre du Soleil. Busca-se com a análise destes espetáculos e o estudo dos seus trajes, juntamente com o estudo do teatro tradicional japonês, estabelecer um paralelo entre a cultura oriental e a ocidental. A elaboração dos moldes é importante para que seja possível visualizar como estas influências se materializam e para que parte da memória dos espetáculos possa ser registrada e facilmente reproduzida por aqueles que se interessem pelo tema. / This research analyses how the influence of Japanese theater is used in the elaboration of costume design at the Théâtre du Soleil, under the direction of Ariane Mnouchkine in the productions of Richard II (1981), Henry IV - Part one (1984) and Drums on the dike (1999). The history, costumes, masks and makeup of the Noh, Kyogen, Kabuki and Bunraku theater are investigated to establish a better analysis of the performances of Théâtre du Soleil, cited above. A small manual with patterns and photos of the construction of one costume from each type of Japanese theater and two sets of costumes from each show from the Théâtre du Soleil will be developed as well. With the analysis of the shows and the study of their costumes, and also the study of Japanese theater, we seek to establish a parallel between Eastern and Western cultures. The elaboration of the patterns is really important so that you can see how these influences were materialized and that part of the show\'s memory can be recorded and easily reproduced by those who are interested in the subject.
